A very nice art gallery with friendly staff. Three levels of artwork. On the ground floor is where you will find art exhibitions and a gift shop. The second floor is also for art exhibitions plus a bit of the history of the building. Third floor are member artists displays. An elevator is available. Be sure to check out some of their events and workshops. They also rotate artwork throughout local businesses. A nice gallery to visit and a non-profit organization.
Love this place! Great art and really neat gift shop. If you are in Newton you should definitely stop in! They keep some of the art at Norms for sale too.
They have some beautiful, creative and interesting displays of artwork and commemorative antiques that you will surely be pleased that you chose to stop by. My friend and I sure were. There was a scholarship awarded to a local artist whose artwork was featured on the main floor. What a talented young Lady.
This is one of the best kept secrets in Kansas. A wonderful representation of artists, a gift shop that solved so many Christmas buying needs this past year, active shows, and curated themes. The Carriage Factory is absolutely one of the best places to visit and enjoy (and make a special trip to see) in Newton, Kansas.
I was pleased with what I found there. A nice display of work by local artists. If you like the prairie and rural America a great place to go to collect some of the art of the region. I will return.
This place is really well-kept and the displays are dignified and aesthetically appealing. Staff are very friendly, and the artwork is always unique and interesting. Well worth the visit!!
Always interesting to see great regional artists featured here. We often stop when we are in town.
A very nice gallery featuring Kansas artists and themes. Also has a small gift shop with local crafts, etc.
People were friendly and made me feel welcome
Great place to visit and wander around. Beautiful unique one of a kind art pieces
Best hidden treasure in Kansas. Wonderful local art and amazing staff
Lovely historic building operated by the Newton Fine Arts Commission! Check out the local art work for sale in their gallery.
A surprise in a small town.
