Newport Dog Park

What a great place for fur babies to stretch their legs!!! There are two sides to this park, one side is smaller I would assume it is for smaller fur babies but the other side is big enough for owners to play ball with them. The park is well kept and if you forgot your bags at home they got you covered!!!! I highly recommend!!!

The new Newport dog park is officially opened! Located Behind the Campbell county public library: Newport branch. Plenty of seats and parking. This one has a walking path!

Awesome dog park, until hillbilly showed up with her aggressive pit and instead of asking her to leave everyone who cared about their dogs safety left. it was such a shame, that one inconsiderate person (noun used loosely) can ruin it for 15 others.

The people behind this park deserve mountains of praise. Such a great job. We are lucky to have this treasure in Newport for our furry babies!

This is a well maintained dog park that includes a water fountain for the dogs!! There are wood chips in the middle and grass around the edges. Virtually mud free. There is a cute community garden next to the dog park. Friendly people and dogs

When will the park open? I noticed there was a lock on the gate. It looks really nice, would love to bring my dog back!

Cant wait for new park to be finished! We enjoyed our walk over in that neighborhood and love this area of Newport!

I have been to all the dog parks in Ky and Cincinnati and I love their dog fountain more than anything. All the other parks have useless fountains. I have told them about this one but so far have not seen any changes. Dog need large amounts of water on hot days, not just trinkles.

PLEASE ban pitbulls from the dog park. I witnessed a terrible incident today. Several innocent dogs were attacked and bloodied in a matter of seconds for no reason at all. :/ Not a good first experience for my pup.

The park is always clean and well maintained. Theres a nice water fountain there for the dogs. And they have bags to clean up after your pup!

Great little park, with nice shaded areas for sitting and water supply for the pups.

Good dog park, not too big and is most busy late afternoons and evenings. The water pump to fill dog bowl stays on year round and there are plenty benches in the shade . The only bad thing about this park is that it can get crowded quickly. (4-6 oclock)

Nice location and lots of room for dog(s) to run and play in a fenced-in enclosure. Plenty of benches for you to sit and watch your dog(s) play while chatting with other puppy parents.

Love this park. Hearing they are thinking of moving it. Thats so sad it is a great easy access gathering place. Hope they dont move it far.

Nice little dog park tucked into the corner of 4th street and Linden Ave of Newport.It has a little watering hole you can refill yourself for the pups. It is mostly dirt from the entrance to the edges of the park where all the dogs roam, so dont wear nice clothes.There are a few benches and a picnic table. Some tree coverage for shade. Its a good size to let the dogs roam and still be close enough to interact.Give it a shot!

Had a nice time taking the family here. The kids and our pets loved it. Well maintained.

Such a pleasant first visit, cant wait to go again. I took my very submissive yet even more friendly Shepherd mix rescue on a Tuesday around 1p. There were only a small handful of others there and all of the dogs were a delight. Im so thankful I braved the trip there with my quirky, neurotic pooch, she had the most wonderful time!

Wood chips your dog may get a little dirty but other than that great park well maintained. Fresh fountain for water.

Great place to take your dog for some exercise. Its really a disgrace that a couple of people have ruined it for everyone & the park will be closing soon

Love love love. It has everything.. trees, water spout, and it’s fenced in! I have no complaints. I bring my pup Teddy there almost everyday!

Decently sized space for dogs to play. The other owners were kind and respectful. Definitely plan on coming back

3 stars because no area for little dogs. We came here because our usual park is under construction and it was disappointing not to be able to use the park. Other than that, it seems very nice.

Love this dog park! We come here every day rain or shine. It has fresh water for the dogs, benches for the humans, and plenty of shade. Its a great place for the dogs to run, a little dusty sometimes because of the sand, but still awesome.

Absolutely love it here, dogs are in heaven here. Everyone has been super friendly Ive encountered. Bags and trashcans everywhere.

Great place for dog owners in the area. Its fairly well maintained and even has a water spout specifically for the dogs to drink out of. Its a little loud because its right next to 471. And theres large sections where the grass want allowed to grow out and so its just dirt which means the dogs are covered in it when you get home.

Its not bad. Nice little space for your dog to run free and enjoy the wind on their face. The thing I dont like, some people dont pick up their dogs poo, so be careful where you step!!

The newport park is a great size and almost always has dogs visiting. Its quiet and fairly well maintained. The only real downside is it can be difficult to find. I still cut through a church parking lot to get to it because I have yet to find another route. The regulars that visit the park are great, but some people are a bit snappy and handsy with other peoples dogs.

Nice place for big dogs. I gave 3 stars because I have a little dog and we couldnt join in the fun.

I use this park because its only a short walk from my apartment and its always been neat and tidy. Its relatively small, but theres plenty of room to run around. The water fountain is a useful feature, as others have mentioned. There are probably 4-6 other dogs there at once on an average day, which is fine for a park of this size. No dedicated parking lot, but Ive never had trouble finding parking on the street right beside the park fence.I might take my dog to Armleder Park if I really want to spoil her and/or wear her out, but this one does the trick most of the time.

I was going to another park that is about a 15-20min drive from me. I was so excited to learn about this park which is about 7-11mins from me. It is big enough for my boxer/shepard mix pup who loves to run and be chased. Nice range of pups that visit the park is nice for my pup to socialize.

Pretty plain for dog park open yard and a couple of benches, no water source, no activity structures but OK.

Good park for the loved ones to run with each other. Water is there as well

There’s a water fountain, other dogs, trees, free bags, and places to sit. What more could you need??!?!?!??!!!?

Nice little dog park. Needs more grass there is a large dirt patch near the entrance. Very friendly people from the neighborhood.

This dog park is by far better than any others Ive been too. People actually watch and pick up after their babies. :)

BE PREPARED TO GET YOUR SHOES MUDDY AND GIVE YOUR DOG A BATH

Nice little park with plenty of toys, disposal bags and a nice little water fountain. Avoid it if its rained recently, there a lot of dirt at the entrance that quickly turns into a lot of mud!

Its a great to just go to let ur dog hang out with other dogs, my dog doesnt see other dogs much so we take her there once a week and she (my dog) loves it.

Park always seems to have at least a few dogs running around, and in the evenings on a nice day it can almost feel crowded despite being almost an acre.
