Kyara was incredibly patient and knowledgeable which totally enhanced our experience. There is a wide selection, pricing is great and the overall experience was phenomenal. While I may not be an art connoisseur I am totally in love with my picks and will definitely shop here again.

I bought two paintings and was told that these paintings were created by local artists.. research afterwards lead me to find out that these paintings were made and copied in Hong Kong. - 1 star for lieing.I really do like the compositions and am happy with the paintings. - I added an extra star for this.If you read this. Stopped in recently during a weekend visit and made a point of coming back to buy a framed painting. Woman working there went out of her way to make sure we left with exactly what we wanted and made excellent recommendations about ideas for frames. Recommend to anyone looking for high-quality art.

Lisa was great in helping me find a painting and frame to go with it that I liked at a reasonable price. She also helped me greatly with padding the painting so I could prepare it to ship cross country. Would greatly recommend picking up some local Rhode Island art.

My husband and I casually wandered into Seaside Art Gallery one evening in June just to browse around. After about an hour, with the help of Keira, we picked out 4 beautiful pieces of art. Living out of state (Texas) they were shipped to us; all arrived in perfect condition. We quickly found just the right spot in our house for each of one. Thank you!

Opened up my package from them and Learned that I have received a damaged painting. The canvas has two spots that are scratched and the frame has a very large and obvious indent. Have called multiple times and no one has answered the phone.

What a wonderful place. I’m certainly not an art collector nor do I pretend to know much about art or paintings. I use paintings to decorate my home. That’s all. I like things that bring the outside to the inside. And I like to change them up for the seasons. I’ve bought 6 paintings over the years from this gallery. The prices are always great and always seem to include the frame. There is a selection. Not just nautical or ocean theme, but a wide range of subjects and themes. I believe everything is done by local artist. All the paintings I’ve bought have been oil on canvas. They last forever.Highly recommended shop for reasonably priced paintings. !!!

I had purchased 2 beautiful seascape pieces of Chandler in black and white approx. 5 years ago. Upon returning on the 3rd week of August, I took my daughter and son-in-law to purchase a few more items for my home in Houston (where upon hearing and finding that I had lost everything I owned to hurricane Harvey). I was going to adorn my living room with a couple of countryside scenes, and a beautiful nude painting of a curvy, voluptuous woman in a sand textured finish which was perfect for my bathroom decor, and fell in love with. Ready to spend over $1000.00, my daughter made a comment Daddy, you should think about it first, and your saleswoman snapped at my daughter saying Why dont you just let your Daddy spend his money how he wants to, and to stay out of it. After hearing this, I explained how I have been coming to this Business for years with my family from Texas, and had spent thousands of dollars supporting Seaside Art Gallery. But after that comment she made, I told her that After your disrespectful comment to my daughter, I will Never set foot in this establishment ever again, and never buy another painting from here ! and walked out empty handed. I will be in New England again on the 3rd weekend of August to attend the St. Anthonys feast in Boston, and will visit Newport again in spite of this terrible experience.

I have been looking for an abstract piece of art for many months till we visited Newport for a friends wedding. My husband and I visited Seaside Art gallery and felt in love with an abstract picture. Lisa (gallery manager) helped us and gave us the option of changing the frame which then made it hard to resist. Its been a few weeks since we purchased the art and we are very pleased with our purchase.

Not bad for the purpose that it has. Just be aware that it is not exclusively a fine art gallery in the sense of high refined art, nor is the artwork exclusively nautical. The mix includes prints of famous art work of various subjects, actual paintings for sale, and lesser quality artwork.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful paintings by local artists. No pressure sales, the artwork sells itself! Most of the paintings we saw included the frame in the price.

Reminds me of one of those perpetually going out of business stores with 50% OFF signs posted year-round, but the paintings are done by real artists and some of them are pretty nice. The prices are cheap, but the artwork is mass produced.

Great paintings and so many paintings to choose from. The paintings come with a frame and you can customize the frame.

RENEGED ON DEAL!!!!! My son lives out of state and purchased a picture for fathers day at this gallery with the understanding his dad could return it and receive a refund within 4 days with the receipt. My husband went down to the gallery the day after fathers day with the picture and receipt and the owner RENEGED ON THE DEAL. So guess what my husband got stuck with a $74.00 credit to a gallery. So I called the gallery and a women answered who started laughing loudly in the phone when I asked her if this was the gallery near brick alley restaurant. You can just image now what I had to deal with. I did ask for the owner to return my call and still await a call.
