I happen to be in the Cincinnati earlier this week and decided to stop at a few reef shops in the area. I only went to two stores in the area but I cant image any are better than Discover Aquatics. The prices are fair and the selection is good. The person working at the store (I wish I wouldve asked his name) was phenomenal at answering the many questions I had. I ended up getting 7 coral frags and all of them are doing well in my tank. I live 4 hours away but I will be returning, the quality of this store and the helpfulness of its staff make it well worth the drive.

Picked up a group of clowns, they are so lively. Reasonably priced, and very knowledgeable.

We drive an hour and a half to come to this place love love love this store there fish are amazing there knowledge is amazing if you need to no something about saltwater they have the answer great place check it out if you havent already friendly place

Andrew is awesome, they always have a great selection & better prices. Always has what i want

This place is awesome, their living sea anemones and coral fixtures are beautiful and they gave me free shells for my hermit crab!

This is a great find in Wilder, KY. Shawn and the guys are very knowledgable. When I decided to make the switch from fresh water to salt water, I was hoping to have some people I could turn to if things went South. And I have had to rely on their expertise. Their fish in the shop are healthy and if supplies are not available, they will order it for you. We appreciate it.

Been keeping fish for 20+ years, Andrew is the most knowledgeable and straightforward guy in the business. Super highly recommend- got everything you need, and fish are the most healthy I’ve ever seen in a store

The folks at Discover in Wilder couldnt possibly be more helpful and generous with their time and expertise.Highly recommend!

Very knowledgeable staff!! This has been the best place to get everything we need for our saltwater tank!! Other places weve been do not compare! Very clean environment all around!!

Purchased an acropora today. Was a pretty good price for the size of the frag. Got the acro home and after floating him removed him from the bag to find that the whole back side of the acro was dead. I called discover aquatics and they told me to bring him back. I should have checked the acro before I left. They didnt have to take him back but they let me trade the acro for another coral at the same price. Discover aquatics had great customer service and patience with me today and I will not forget that and will be back. AA++ rating.

Really nice store! The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! Great prices and selection!

Very friendly and helpful. Nice selection of fish etc. They will also order in anything u want and have it in within just a couple days. Will definitely be back!!

Neat and well stocked store!

We just went in for a heater for our fresh water tank but left wanting to set up a salt water tank! Lovely selection of fish and corals, and very knowledgable and helpful. We will be back when we are ready to set up a new tank!

Really know what they are talking about and can help you select the best possible additions to your tank!

Been there a few times, friendly staff. One of the few stores that i have been to where no matter how hard i look i havent really seen any aiptasia or the little white starfish in their frag tanks. Everything that i have bought from them (fish, coral, shrimp, snails) have all done well

I love this shop and the people who work here. I drive an extra 35 minutes to get what ever I need.

Outstanding LFS!!! The staff are excellent, the variety of fish and coral keep getting better and better, and the prices are more than fair.I highly recommend

This store is a great place to get your marine fish, I had previously only had a puffer for several years in my saltwater tank and was starting over with all new species after the puffer died. Since I did not have much experience with other types, I asked a lot of questions. The gentleman working there was very friendly and knowledgeable about the species they carried and even gave me advice about other species I was wanting to add but they did not have. The four fish I got (2 perculas, a fire goby, and diamond goby) are very healthy and I am so happy with my experience. Well worth the hour drive we made to go there! I highly recommend this store for your marine fish needs!

Very clean store with a great selection of mid-range corals. A chalice I picked up is doing great and has already shown growth.

Great staff. Very knowledgeable and always there to help with any issues I have with my tank. The store is always well stocked and special orders arrive quick.

Very informative and friendly. They go above and beyond to help you. I have been to many stores in the Greater Cincinnati area and this is the one I would recommend for everyone!

Really nice staff who really do care about their animals. The prices are good and the quality of organisms is outstanding. Such a beautiful selection of animals.

Great LFS, buy locally! Good selection of livestock and dry goods!

Were new to the saltwater hobby and have never felt like were a burden with all of our questions. The owner is patient, answers our questions and has been extremely helpful. Have had good success over the last several months with their corals and fish. Everything so far has been healthy. The store, while a little small right now, is very clean and well kept. Their display tank is gorgeous!

Great prices, and friendly helpful staff, definitely recommend checking it out.

Very helpful. Price is very reasonable

Great shop. Andrew is the reef tank brain of the tri-state. Super honest, they wont sell you something just to sell it. They will tell you when something you want wont work in your tank. They really know their regular customers too. Everytime I come in Andrew asks about my tank and remembers everything I have bought from him to put in it.

So friendly and a wealth of knowledge!

Andy is a wealth of information. The staff there is always willing to help out. Wouldnt consider using anybody else.

Excellent prices and always willing to answer the many questions I have.

Went here off a hunch that it would be a good place and man it was the guy that runs it is the nicest most educated guy that I’ve talked to I was going to buy a sand sifting goby for my nano and he was honest and told me it wasnt a good idea that they wouldn’t have enough to eat I respected that fact that he wasn’t willing to give me the fish knowing it would be a bad idea but in the end I bought 3 beautiful corals and had a great time and they have my salt!!! First store in my area I’ve seen that carries high grade salts it’s nice to see someone that still loves the hobby and is willing to teach others thank you guys I’m now a regular customer after just one visit

Start your salt Walter tank experience here.

Friendly people. But the selection of fish is still small. Maybe because it is a new shop without much of a cash yet.

Friendly and knowledgeable

Andrew is awesome!!!

Awesome shop!!

Carries what I need

Conflicting ideas on how to get a tank cycled and when to start putting fish in very frustrating to go to the same place and two workers tell you two different things and neither of them seems to know their stuff

Dont go anywhere else!!!!

Very helpful and friendly

Great shop with good stock and friendly staff.
