We went for my birthday. Had a great time. We brought dinner, a cooler full of drinks, and even brought a birthday cake!

As a former employee with The Newport Harbor Yacht Club, this has been, by far, the best place I have ever worked at in my entire 10 plus years working in the food service industry. I had the priviledge of working along side some of the most professional, kind, courteous and respectful people I have ever known. From my immediate supervisor, Reuben Casteneda, NHYC Banquet Mgr. with over 26 years experience in this industry and 20 years of employment at NHYC.Crystal Evelyn, Event Coordinator, with over 15 years at the NHYC who taught me so much personally and professionally, the wait staff, the hostesses, the head Chef Polly Barerra, who thought nothing of taking the time out of his demanding schedule to answer any of my questions.The multi-generational members of this yacht club are even more exceptional. They always treated the staff just like family. We were greeted with so much warmth and respect which is why the service provided here is of such a high standard.Cannot say enough about this yacht club. Its incredible from the inside out.

Great food and shower service, fun place to sail or swim

Great beach and good place in general to get some activities done. Sometimes could be a little bad with parking.

Currently in process of moving across the country to live here. The staff, Francesca especially, has been nothing short of phenomenal in answering questions in helping every step of the way.We are very excited for our new home!

Visiting yacht club from out of state. Young lady at front desk was sharp with us, made use feel unwelcome. Will not be returning.

Mixed feelings. Activities can be fun, the boat parade, but you must bring patience. Traffic is horrible at its peak. Takes one hour to travel the 2 point some miles from PCH to Palm St

Not very windy, but a great area. It was very fun to sail with my friends, and we all had a great time. The Yacht Club itself is very fancy and I like it a lot. It is very serene, and very nice.

Not the most welcoming place. Snobby rich white folks turned away visitors at a high school regatta with a service dog, and restaurant staff failed to remove meat from vegetarian food orders.
