Plum Island Lighthouse

Great place to visit in summer. Probably closed until Pandemic is over.

Beautiful historic lighthouse! You can get up close and take pictures. Limited parking nearby. Walking distance to Plum Island Beach!

Great location. A lot of activities, beaches, hikes, landscape, photo towers... larger location than expected.

Just a note: This lighthouse is on private property without (non-beach) parking. The lighthouse is open for limited hours, but when it is open, you can walk up it. Probably better to spend your time on Plum Island at the beach.

Cool lighthouse on the end of Plum Island. You can go to the top, but be aware that it is only open on select days, typically once a month. The rest of the time you can walk up to the base and look at it, you just cant go inside.

Small little lighthouse very much on land and not really near the water. However, this is truly a beautiful little place and markers placed around the lighthouse. The parking was a bit tricky. Many people were in the area and we had to do a bit of walking, but it was worth it.

The lighthouse was ok, but the beach was beautiful with the snow and ice.

Interesting location for a lighthouse. Nothing else there since its not on the beach. Its a working navigation beacon so access to the inside is extremely limited. You cannot see the river or the ocean from its location.

Light house is closed and nothing much to see But beach near light house is quite and not so crowded. People usually come there for fishing. Parking is costly $12 for day.

Most of the houses nearby are taller than it is. Drive by to see it, but spend your time at the beach.
