Great place for kids (and adults) to play with their favorite gear (bikes, skateboards, scooters, roller blades).It would be even better if the young adults who like recreational drugs would find withe spot for their hobby...

Park is small, but lots of features are packed into it. The pool is the best in a park in the Bay Area. Just the right balance of depth, verticality, coping size, and slipperyness. mini ramp section is good. Even some out of the way flatground. Lots of parking. Vibe is friendly.

First time coming to the skatepark first thing I noticed was plenty of parking which is hard at other parks absolutely no bathrooms are open not even the porta potties theyre all locked so I guess you got a p Mountain Style the park was pretty fun a little on the small side for my liking all the ramps are put together very tightly I think they could have spread it out a little bit better the skaters that were they were having a blast I ride BMX so for me the park was a little cramped as soon as you caught any speed you had to slam the brakes cuz you were going to run into an obstacle or the fence first thing I noticed I fell three times because the pavement is ultra slippery good for skaters bad for rubber tires Im assuming the people they were locals they had no beef with a bike being there so that was cool a lot of food nearby really close to 880 so very easy to get to the skatepark if your skater I definitely recommend checking it out if youre BMX there still check it out might be more to your liking than it was to me I give it another shot but to drive over the Dumbarton I probably wouldnt

Excellent park especially for how small it is. The mini section is suuuper fun. It’s about 10 feet wide of a mellow 4 foot mini pipe that continues a loop and has some step ups along the route. Can not beat it for learning new transition tricks.The pool is prime! I would say it’s a step up from the small emeryville pool and a little smaller than Fremont, making it an ideal size in my book.I Don’t really skate street but everything here was pretty manageable. Small but fun ledges, An interesting rail, speed pumps throughout and a 4 block.Thanks for the build Newark! And thanks for fighting for it kids!!
