Great vintage roller skating rink. All of the facilities were well maintained and they have a large selection of skates.

I highly suggest they change or update hours on here. We drove a little ways with 4 kids and it was closed... when it said open until 12 AM tonight.

Been going here for years for 2 reasons. 1, is because it is the only skating rink I know in Newark/Heath and 2, because theyre prices are cheap. Friendly staff. This place is great for a night of fun. Probably the only place in Newark you can have fun

Pretty sus but fun

Very rude and there were kids racing and one knocked me down without even trying to avoid me. They were kicked off the rink for a short period of time and then allowed to skate again. They decides to race again so everyone was pulled off the rink floor. I paid to skate not to watch kids that keep getting in trouble. They should have been asked to leave!!!

I miss skating there. Its been awhile for me, but this is a great place and Elton and Naomi are great people!

This place is awful. They over charge you on food and you get tiny portions. The music is decent but skating is a nightmare. They dont enforce the rules so its like roller derby. The layout is terrible. You gotta basically fight your way to the skate desk and then fight your way past people for food. None of the lockers work in fact you cant even quarters in them if they did. The hours suck. How this place stays open...I didnt know

Nice family owned business. Old fashioned rules geared towards appropriate behaviour, I love it considering the crowd is predominantly preteens and teens, there arent too many places Ive been where public displays of affection is prohibited concerning youth. Classic. And the owner is a sweetheart, retirement age and still in the thick of it. My wife hit her head and grandma roll-away came out to check on her and insisted we have her checked out. Stated she takes head injuries seriously. I would go back to this place anytime.

My family and I attempted to have our daughter’s 6th birthday party at this location tonight. What we were promised “we provide everything, but the cake” was far from the truth. We did not receive drinks, NOT EVEN WATER until about 45 minutes after the party started. I would like to add that our party room was stifling hot with a poor AC system or possibly no AC at all. The owners and staff constantly miscommunicated with each other, leaving my wife & I running around trying to get answers on why our daughter’s party was quickly becoming a complete disaster. We were told we were NOT allowed to bring in any outside drinks including water. We provided everything: plates, decorations, utensils, food, etc. (thankfully my wife did, as none of these items were ever offered during the party) We received nothing as promised. Eating pizza and cake with children without drinks was a nightmare. Ice cream bars (also included) were not mentioned until literally the last minute of the party, and so were never provided as promised. When we brought this and our unpleasant experience to the elderly female owner, her solution was free soda drink tickets. This was now 90 mins into the party. Oh, and a future free skate admission for my daughter. No thanks, not at this point. Half of our guests were leaving (probably out of thirst) and so we went home with 13 out of 20 free drink tickets. Would NOT recommend this place for parties!!!!!!

We had alot of fun, but a little overcrowded. And few very disrespectful kids. My child was knocked down several times by others going too fast or running through the facility.

Really needs a facelift. This was once a really nice place, but has suffered decades of people in bare and sock feet. Kids need places like this to gather, but it would be great if the owner would invest in future business by sprucing the place up. A lot.

I growed up here with my family an friends even raced forem for a few years now im getting my kids into the life of skating

I love this place because as a child growing up I have had a lot of memories of hanging out with friends and family in a drug free environment its a really good place to take your children thanks for all the good times I will be coming back here again soon as an adult to see if I can still skate....LoL... :)
