Aquatic Center and soccer and baseball fields are closed, skate park is open. Nice paved path around the entire park for walking/riding. Some organized group activities just resuming.

Very expensive but when Groupon has the reduction for this place it is totally worth it. I think they allow to much people in the same time but they have a lot of lifeguards. Like everywhere some adults are incredibly not behaving. Wish they were more strict about the bathing suits... Some women were suit up from head to toes with regular clothing... Not very hygienic...

Pretty good and fun but there are sometimes kids peeing in the pool and the locker room is kind of really dirty.

This place is reasonably priced for a family to go to. My daughter and God son had a ball going down the water slide and throwing the basket ball around with other kids. I gave it 3 stars because they need to have slide resistant flooring in the changing rooms and a room attendant to squeegee the floor at least.

3 years ago before I came to this water park I was reading reviews and little nervous (my daughter was 3) I went to try. My first impression was that place was normal water park. Clean just like another public swimming pool, chlorine smell but I used to that in covered swimming pools when I was kid, i felt cold air but for my daughter it was warm so I was happy coming back and swim or sit in jacuzzi when I got cold.I never bothered tell anything about it because for me it was nice covered water park, now after remodeling little nicer with less chlorine smell but nothing special.Until my last visit when I lost my wallet over there. I came back searching for it but couldnt find it. Next day I called to check again and I was surprised that my wallet was found. Me and my daughter got happy again.Bigger surprise was when I arrived and got my wallet back and everything even cash was there.I offered reward but girl refused take it.I was so happy and surprised that I forgot ask for her name.Now Im home thinking how people who work there made that place from regular nice place to go with my daughter to special place with good memories not only for me but my daughter too.Thank you again.Not only for wallet but also for showing my daughter good values what is hard to see this days.

Very cool place and awesome concept overall but it was freezing in the complex. Like more so then just being out of water. Also there was signage posted saying no opposite genders in the bathrooms and I saw multiple parents bring their old enough sons into the womens dressing room. The girls at the counter were rude and dismissive and complete ignored be when I wanted to inquire about the private family bathroom use.

The facility is nice but there needs to be better regulation on the basketball courts, to share the courts. There needs to be a time limit for current games if there are multiple parties waiting to play.

Cold weather, cold water should make the water warm.

I wish they have longer hours to accommodate the people coming from late work hours.

I love to go swimming here it is amazing the slides are so cool. It is very warm inside. When you get out it is freezing cold because you were in the water. But very clean and helpful.

This place looks like fun but unfortunately just by looking at the rules for the swim clothing is a no for my family as Christians we don’t exposes our bodies in that way and we do use a skirt or a covering over leggings. There is swimming clothing for those of us who for our religion we can’t exposed our bodies, so I ask myself why can’t we wear these? I feel discriminated honestly you have to think about all scenarios and don’t try to mold a certain look knowing that it doesn’t go with everyone!

Decent place, but not a lot to do there. Can get boring after a couple of hours. Seating is a big issue!! The snack bar sucks, but they dont let you bring in any outside food. So have a good sized meal before you go!!

Yes, I went there for a graduation of a friend. It was kind of small for the amount of people attending but accomadible.

Very fun day, kids had a wonderful time, lazy river was very pleasant and it was not too packed as we feared it could have been. The only downside is that the place seems to have a very strong smell of chlorine.

This is a great pool/water park for young kids. They have two slides which you have to be able to swim to use. There is a small but nice lazy river. There is a play area for kids. They have a large pool and hot tub. There are also two areas with water basketball hoops and balls to play with the kids.

Its a very nice place to swim and have fun with family. The water is warm and they have 2 big slides with is really cool.

Our family loves this place. Must get tickets online before and get there before open. The liner is long and they will make you wait or turn you away if at capacity (which will happen quickly). Lap pool, water play area, graduated play pool, lazy River, and slides. Completely indoor with decent (but busy) changing rooms. Decent food service after (snack quality).

Clean facility. They advertise being open daily but they are not. The pool is only open sometimes. The pool was not open on the day I went which was a disappointment. Everything seemed well taken care of. The pool isnt particularly large but doesnt seem to small.

The Silliman Center is a nice little Activity Center they have classes for working out and dance they have a basketball court they have a swimming aquatic area where they even have water-based aerobic classes. It is always very clean that help is always very nice. They also have a meeting room Im not sure how many people it seats but it is very clean and it has video capabilities. There is a teen center there and a sports field right outside the building. The sports field has soccer fields and baseball field and Im not sure if theres other stuff other than the basketball court inside.

Great place, I had a blast with my kids, came back 3 + days because we liked it very much, and the best of all, affordable prices. Come visit it, u wont regret it!

Fun place

Good place to go exercising when the weather doesn’t cooperate. Otherwise, I prefer exercising in the outdoor to enjoy the sunshine!

On 2/10/18 I went to play basketball we arrived at 5pm expecting to play for an hour since the online page shows that the facility is open until 6 but upon arrival we were told that they facility closed at 5:30 which was fine. So we went ahead and played basketball but while we were playing an employee turned off the lights with no warnings indicating that it was closing time.

Skate park is great for all skill levels

I was at the teen center they are very rude and they had a vending machine with Fanta and I bought one and it was 4 days expired

My kids who are 4.5, 3.5, and 1.5 years old lips turnes purple within minutes. I was even a bit chilly. Even fully submerged with heads above water the kids were still shivering. The air temperature is cold when you get out too. We didnt last more than 10 minutes. We love indoor water parks so we bought wet suits to bring to this water park. We havent tested them out yet but we are hoping it will keep them warmer for longer at this facility.

Nice indoor poor, 2 slides, busy lazy river and a separate poor for the toddlers. It has a lap pool but too busy to use during lap time.

Great location to do my water exercises and swim some laps. 4 x 25m lanes that are sometimes in use for other classes. Water is clean and while not always warm as they claim, it has never been more then a bit chilly. Locker rooms are large and well maintained.The schedule is confusing. Listing open rec swim, classes, water exercise, water walking, lap swim times, all on separate web pages. If you go to the center, they have handout, that has very useful grid on the back that shows all the different access times.There is water rec area right next to the lap pool, with 2 slides, a lazy river and a mini water park. During summer days, even when there is lap swimming going on, there can be a wait to get in because the rec area is packed.As for the food, this is a snack bar at a municipal rec center, where everything is prepackaged and warmed for your enjoyment. Its fuel for when an adult is hungry and to keep your kids happy. Its not even to the level of junk food. Set your expectations.

The water is so cold. Very unpleasant. My 3 year old had a wetsuit on and was shivering after 30 mins. On top of that it costs $9 for anyone over the age of 2.Update (11/19/18) : Ive been to swimming pools where the temperature is 84 degrees. Your pools are definitely not 84 degrees. Regardless, for toddlers, the pool should really be >87 for them to be comfortable.

Swim here in the mornings a couple times a week. Well maintained and clean pool. Hot showers with soap provided. Relatively cheap and even cheaper if you live in Newark (not Fremont). Usually not too crowded before 9am with at most 3 people per lane in the short course 25m pool. Not sure if it gets busier or quieter after that.

Kids have a ball here, but the chlorine is so strong often leaves their eyes burning at the end of the day. Sometimes even if I dont get in the water my eyes burn just from the fumes. If its not a strong chlorine day its a great place for some indoor fun.

Always a fun place to visit. 2 pools and one water slide. Water slide is only for big children. One pool is for toddlers abd other is for larger kids. But anyone can go in any pool. The hot tub is reserved for grown ups or bigger children. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. Pool side party rooms and conference halls are available for a nominal fee. Children under 3 go for free.

Never knew this great facility existed until I attended an event here. There lazy river and play structures are perfect for indoor water fun for the family. The lap pool is sized and warm enough for train and practice in. The safety staff are well-trained and pretty alert (as they should). Will definitely come back.

I love this place but as of today I come in to take my kids swimming the Google Website said that theyre open just for us to get here and they said that theyre under construction and they have no control over the Google hours I think thats very unfair because most people look to google. They should really look onto fixing that.

If you have kids anywhere from 3 to 15, this is a great place to go. If you are an adult and want to go there during recreational time, you might reconsider.Well, I do have kids and they enjoy their time at the Aquatic Center. They problem is that opening hours are extremely limited and while its open, it is crowded. Here is what I cannot understand. Many costs are fixed by keeping the facility up and running, heating the water, rent for the building... Flexible costs are primarily wages for the life guards. If you open the facility longer during the weekend days, there will be more people coming and enjoying this nice facility and they will pay for the wages of the life guards.Why not opening at 10 am and closing at 6 pm?

I would say that this facility would get a nice 4 out of 5 stars because I went and enjoyed everything, but it closes too early on Sundays. I do understand the fact that the weekend ends but some days there is no school the next day for the kids, and you know. If I would have been able too I would have given this place a 4.5/5 but Google does not let you so great place and you should check it out.

Perfect place to go during the cold winter days. Prices are reasonable and the weather is consistent. My kids love it.

This is an awesome, affordable puplic open year-round place for kids to swim, play with water slides, tubing and water playground at $7 per child per day. The staff are very friendly and nice - thank you so much for the aquatic facility and service! Wish other cities have the same family services as Newark!

OMG I couldnt breath in inside this place because of all the chlorine smell is SO POWERFUL I felt fainting I wanted to leave so badly, I had to stay because it was my kids 1st time there. The space is small and ventilation is very bad. The life guard there they are very mean. My kids was complaining to me of how mean they were yelling at them for walking the wrong direction and getting out the wrong direction they could of walk to them and told them nicely Instead of yelling at the kids. They really need to do something about the ventilation.

Both my kids and myself had very bad drybsk9n and red eyes from all the heavy chlorine they poured into the water. The ratio of water to chlorine is very bad. Be ready to smell like chlorine for days.

My kids are happy to be here, non stop smiles. The height in the childrens pool its a perfect height for kids. The water temperature its warm. It does smell a lot like chlorine but its a great place.

Had fun when I went there last year. A bit peeved about the deal not being valid on weekends. Really unfair to those who cant go during the week because of work or that things!

Can do gym, exercise room and pool for just 1 entrance fee. Staff friendly and helpful. Membership and pass fees reasonable and reduce cost of normal entrance fee.

Great place to come with family but the wait time sucks.. I had to wait 1hr. Also they close very early.

Hi,it would be 2/5 because I always go there with my uncle,siblings,and cousins but the condition is that the girls locker room is smelly and dirty.People are bossy and the shove other younger kids and thats not ever nice I would consider.I dont know if you ever saw me there but I am average tall I do always wear a hello kitty backpack.And there yes I just went today and I saw throw up all over trash can.And yes I told a asian life guard or whatever and they cleaned it up nicely but they looked gross OUT!I highly recommend better cleaners for the girls locker and you guys should not let other bossy kids go in the pool!

Arrived at 1:30 on a Saturday and had an 80 minute wait to get in. Once we got in, we had a ton of fun. Two water slides, lazy river, kids pool, hot tub. Great fun!

This is not a good place to do lap swimming if you have some experience swimming. Most swimmers are not aware swimming etiquette and the lifeguards on duty dont do anything to re-organized people based on their skill level. They periodically change their lap swimming hours and during summer they seem to change their focus a lot more towards classes. Although they advertise a minimum of 2 lanes for lap swimming they dont always follow through. The lockers are large but a bit run down and some of the shower heads at the mens locker dont even work. If you are looking to do lap swimming I would strongly recommend to go to a different facility.

GOOD LUCK to the next kid whos gonna be yelled at!!!While waiting for the rest of our family in the lobby my son were just playing while i was there sitting looking at him. Suddenly, everybody heard a shout GET OFF THE STATUE!! IT WAS SO LOUD that everybody.. i mean everybody in that lobby looked at her and my son. My son is just 5! my son was so embarrassed that he run up to me and started crying. I cant believe this people! knowing that this is a FAMILY FACILITY!! i was so mad why these people will do such act!. I asked one of them who is the one who yelled at my son but no one in the desk said something aside that guy that was cleaning the table. Hes the one who EVEN APOLOGIZE!!. FYI.. this is our FIRST and DEFINITELY OUR LAST to spend our family outing in this RUDE place!!!

I had a horrible experience at this swimming center. I had my kids taking the swimming lessons here and they moved my child up to a next level when i let her continue for the next level they moved her back to a lower level and told me that each instructor rate differently. This is awful. At first dont moved her up if you think shes not ready but if so then why moved backwards. I definitely sent my kids to a better place.

This place is so much fun for the kids. They let kids into the hot tub at age 5, theres playing structures, a shallow pool for playing games, a lazy river to float around in, a large pool and water slides. The minimum height requirements on the water slides is a touch higher than I think it needs to be, but thats really my only complaint.Their snack area has a nice range of food, but closes before the pool does, so plan for that.

While the facility is fun for kids and the staff friendly, the floors surrounding the pools as well as the locker rooms were super dirty! They provide family changing rooms which is great, however they were disgustingly dirty and smelly, with hair all over the place. It should definitly not be allowed to walk in the pool area with regular street shoes which many people did. We went there yesterday on a very rainy Saturday, thus a lot of people were in the pool; still, the facility should be maintained more often to ensure common hygiene standards!

Great place for children, and young teens. Many water play courses and and rest areas. Truly a lot of fun!

Heard its nice

Usually I really love this place. Have been going since I was a little girl but recently I feel like it has been going down hill Im sorry to say. Im currently very pregnant and come with my sister to excersize in the pool once in awhile. While on one of my visits while changing in the locker room a girl maybe in her early 20s pulled out her cell phone and took a picture of me while changing. I felt so uncomfortable my sister had to hold a towel in front of me while I got changed. But I paid to swim and the staff was over loaded with people so I just ignored the ignorant girl and went to swim anyways. when I got to the pool I was just trying to do little excersizes as I cant do much anyways rite now and was staying away from the swimmers. Now let me let you know if you dont, the pool closest to the hot tub is very large and somewhat deep so I stayed in one place hoping not to be bothered since there was not many in there to begin with...until little kids maybe 7-10 kept splashing around near me and eventually kicked my belly and back while swimming by. Life guards and parents both seen what happened and didnt say anything so I moved to another spot of the pool and I guess the pool was not big enough for them and it happened again, I was so irritated that I left and. Didnt even bother changing. So I hope the owner reads this and decides to hire more life guards that are going to do something about it and maybe keep a attendant in the womens locker room to prevent little girls from taking pictures of naked pregnant women.

I go for the basketball courts mostly and always get a pick up game. My kids loved the aquatic center. I cant believe the teen room isnt always occupied, I know if I were younger it would be on and crackin.

I would have given this a 5 star few weeks ago but something changed in its administration and policies that has made me so unhappy. I used to take my 18 month old here to the mini recreation twice every week and thought that this was the best place for us to have family time (free swim, unstructured play). The indoor water was warm, the play structures are fun, there are tons of toys provided by the rec center for kids to play with, life-guards are super friendly, and it was a convenient drive from home. My son (now 2) is so happy at the thought of going there each week, almost like a ritual- I even recommended it to family and friends. I used to go there for lap swim during the weekends and liked it so much.Starting this year they have upped the fee structure and have started charging children age age 0 to 3 for entry by asking us to pay $3 and handing us a swim diaper!? When I asked them why, especially because I bring my own (and extras too) they said that they couldnt ensure that potty accidents in the pool dont happen, so they charge for a swim diaper at entry, EVEN IF YOU GOT YOURS. So I already paid for a whole pack of swim diapers and here they charge me regardless, even if I bring my own. Something tells me it is about charging money regardless, nothing to do with swim diapers. This is over and above my entry fee which is $9. I also noticed this week that they had taken away all the toys from the swim area and placed two inflated balls instead. This is disappointing! Not only is it becoming expensive for us but it is also becoming very unfriendly. This is not the place we knew last year. They have now started taking advantage of patrons and people who follow the rules. Sad, but maybe I wont be coming here anymore.A better and a more reasonable way to ensure no potty accidents would be to enforce the rule at check-in by making sure that new or returning guests have a swim diaper with them. If they fail to show one, then charge them for it and give it to them. Dont penalize people who follow the rules!

Fun place for little kids. Not much to do for older kids. Beware, even if you dont want to get in the water, adults, you have to pay to go in and watch your kids. That seems a bit much.

First time here today. Not that busy. No line. No waiting to get in the pool area. The swimwear guide line is strict the the Web. But when I got in the pool area doesnt seem like anyone is enforcing the swimwear guide line.

We went during a summer Sunday and it was very crowded. The wait was over an hour. The kids enjoyed the lazy river and waterslides, although for the non-swimming adults the place felt a bit claustrophobic and sauna-like. I would have rather spent time outdoors on a beautiful day!
