From an original member of the early, beginning of industrial/EBM i must say i was pleasantly surprised with the music. most clubs of today are nothing but posers but this was truly a taste of the industrial past. the only reasons im giving three stars and not four/five is because the sound systems are subpar. the music may be loud, but its not clear... the sound system is obviously old and is being pushed beyond its limits. either turn the music down, or get an updated sound system that can handle the volume. other than that, i truly great experience for those nostalgic of an industrial past...

Thank you so much for all your help with my daughters wedding reception! Yes, a goth wedding reception!!! Ronaldo helped with everything; DJ Luna was so accommodating and sweet, Ben the photographer took fantastic photos, the bar staff were very congenial, the guys who helped with breaking down tables and chairs did fast work, and the bouncer was so nice. I highly recommend QXT for your out of this world event! Affordable and such an exciting venue!

Came here after dinner the other night. What a place! Great vibe and the cocktails were a nice way to cap off our wonderful evening with friends. I would recommend to anyone looking for a fun time to come to QXT.

I thought my fiances jacket was stolen, but after twins my brain is obviously not working. They were absolutely superb in their handling of everything and I would go back and tell the world theyre superb. I look forward to dancing there again, and Im so sorry I was an idiot.

It’s the only goth club in the NYC area. They regularly have well-known industrial bands.

I thought that i was going to a concert, but its more of a dance club where a band will play every hour and a half or so. Wound up waiting so long for the band i wanted to see that i just left. Theres nothing wrong with this place, but just be aware that if youre going to see bands you might not want to show up when the doors open

I admire and respect that this club has been around serving the industrial, goth, and alternative community for what - almost 20 years? The place looks great, the DJs are cool, the music was great, and the crowd is on par too. I know people from NYC who claim they come out to QXTs b/c its better than the clubs in the city. Id like to see even more people get off their asses and get out to support the community and bring it back to its glorious open-minded splendor... and then some. Keep up the good work...

Love this nightclub! Dont get here too often due to the distance from our house, but its always a treat when we do! So80s is a themed night which, you guessed it, is all 80s music. Danced the night away! Three rooms, three bars, with each room featuring a different DJ and music.

This is my favorite club to go in NJ... stumbled upon this club by accident leaving a concert at Prudential Center almost 2 years ago and so glad I did... Im here about once every five or six weeks. Love the 80s new-wave alternative music with New Order Depeche Mode Cure Smiths etc... the staff (owner, bartenders, DJs even bouncers) are simply wonderful and the people that attend the club are interesting but really great bunch of people attending, everybody gets along in harmony, mingle, dance, Express their individuality and does their own thing. In my opinion theres no alternative or rock Club quite like this in New Jersey that I know of... this is my happy place. Upstairs you often have and 80s New Wave night or could be just dance night down the basement you have the Crypt with darker alternative music/goth in one room and in another room Industrial music real interesting place theres something for everybody. Ladies used to get in for free before 11 p.m. the place pretty much starts to come alive around 11:30 to 12 and is open till 3 a.m. unlike most bars in New Jersey which close at 2. Did I say that this is my happy place?? Go and try it you wont regret it...

Best alternative music dance club around. Better than any NYC city night, by far. Its awesome that they now have so many theme nights: goth/industrial, 80s, 90s, indie, etc. No attitudes and super friendly staff.

A very different place. It has a basement that split into to for different types of music and upstairs is a bar, dance floor and a relaxing area. Stage isnt that great but is a fun place to hang out at.

Ive been going here since college (2002-2004) and its still one of my favorite destinations. Check out Iron Garden events if youre looking for unique pan-pagan programs.

Magical gothic spot in Newark! I love so much this place! Keyla is a very criative and professional bartender. She can get you any delicious drink exactly the way you like. They have a very good space to dance, 3 or more bathrooms, 3 bars, 1 big stage. The staff is all friendly. The owner is very nice and charismatic person. They have 80s and 90s parties on Fridays. If you are a big fan of rock/new wave/synth-pop you should go there!

Ive been going here for 13 years and Im glad the place has been on a big upswing recently. Theres no other spots quite like this in the area short of you going to events in NYC, and those could be once-a-month events, whereas Qs is open every weekend with occasional variations on the music and scene (80s nights, 90s nights, straightforward gothic industrial, open mics, and occasional live bands too). As a hockey fan, Ive also enjoyed seeing fellow Devils fans stop in after a game since its right down Mulberry from Prudential Center. Its probably a spot defacto sports fans wouldnt walk into otherwise but the greatest aspect of this place is that everyone can enjoy the vibe inside no matter what walk of life.
