My daughter has danced at SPA for 6 years now. When we were first looking for a studio we asked friends where their children danced, but one answer ended up sticking out: “we started ‘elsewhere’ but ended up at SPA after my daughter really got into dance.” Curious about this trend I went to watch a few recitals and understood why they ended up at SPA when their dancers out grew creative movement classes.SPA has a wide range of classes for all ages, but most importantly your dancer will learn from a tremendously talented group of choreographers. They will have the opportunity to grace the stage in an actual ballet production as well as fun end of the year recitals. If you want a quality dance education, SPA is the right place for your dancer. It was for mine.
Our daughter began taking dance at another studio and switched to SPA fulltime about 4 years ago. Their focus on proper technique and terminology as well as their choreography being age and ability appropriate, were big deciding factors in switching studios. The confidence that teachers work to build within each student, and their ability to positively encourage their students to push past their comfort zone, is amazing. SPA also offers many opportunities outside of standard classes such as dance team and a ballet company, which opens the door to many experiences that are not often offered locally.SPA has taken our daughter from being a little girl who takes dance classes to being a dancer. We encourage families to give them a try!
