2/16/20 Gregory Porter and Ledisi, 2 great performance for the Valentines weekend. Gregory sang my favorites On the way to Harlem and Take me the Alley! He had more movement to his step! A great performance!! I see Gregory Porter ever year.

I love this venue. Seats are very comfortable. Always very clean and a great ambiance. Getting in and out of your event/concert is not as horrendous as it may be at other venues. They are very organized with their seating. Parking is close to the venue and not too expensive, $20. Im sure you can find something cheaper, but Ill pay that for the convenience :)

I came to NJPAC on 5/14/19 for a Stray Kids concert. Fantastic place! It was huge inside! We had first tier seats and the view was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Prices for food and drinks were on par with other venues. The show was amazing! Great place to take my kids for their first real concert! Parking was easy and plenty available spots. Cant wait to attend another show here!

Ths was my first time at tis theater. The inside and outside if this building are beautiful. There are three levels that can be accessed by stairs or an elevator. The theater can sit approximately 3,000 people. For those individuals who are interested, they service alcoholic beverages and snacks. The staff is helpful and friendly. There are restrooms are on each level. Both the theater and restrooms were very clean. I was disappointed that there was only one urinal in each of the mens rooms. Insufficient for so many people.There is plenty of parking in the area. One lot across the street and a couple of others within a short walking distance.My four stars is due to the restroom accommodations and the show was a huge disappointment. It was not the show as advertised online.

This is a beautiful performing arts center. If youre coming here for a show that is popular or in their main theater and a sold-out then be prepared to park in the lots around the area. This attached parking lot fills up pretty fast.If youre willing to walk 4 to 5 minutes use an app and get parking for $12 instead of paying $20 to $26 for event parking.If youre planning to get drinks at the bar before the showing take it in for example the case of a stand-up show then be prepared to shell out $17 for a glass of wine or $10 for cocktails. The bar upstairs is cash only but at the main level you can pay by credit card.

Nice building, clean excellent theater, nice seating, good sounding & easy access for parking, close to Newark Penn station. I have seen several performances from jazz, classic and most recent Reggae performances.

I do love this place and have been here a number of times on school trips to expose high school students to classical music with the NJ Symphony orchestra, and for my own entertainment in the evenings. We had opportunity to meet members of the orchestra on a couple of occasions and talk to them about their profession. Some of my students who expressed the most interest were surprisingly rappers and otherwise very involved in todays music scene.The NJPAC auditorium itself is beautiful, the cherry wood? not sure the exact type of wood, but it did take my breath away the first time I went. And yes, there doesnt seem to be a bad seat in the house. We enjoyed the performances at the higher levels of the auditorium as much as on the first level.Most of the teens that I have brought here for a classical music experience have really enjoyed it.Staff is friendly and helpful, and most seem to be local Newark people-- as it should be. This is one of Newarks gems.

NJPAC was such a beautiful venue! We were there for the first time to see Double Dare Live. It was a great show. We had seats on Tier 4 (2nd to last row) but we could see the stage without issues. We were upgraded to the Orchestra section at intermission and our view was even better!

Reat theater, with comfortable seating and good view of the stage. Very well organized and clean.Great place to see whatever show its available.

We had such a great time. My wife, my children and I were there to see Return of the Jedi with the NJ Symphony Orchestra performing the score. We were blown away. The room is amazing. The staff were friendly. The sound was perfect. We will certainly go back soon. Amazing.

I saw Stray Kids here (5/15) and had the best night of my life! This venue fits around 3,000 people. The bathrooms were clean. Staff members were very kind and helped me find my seat when I got lost. Parking garage and McDonald’s located walking distance from the venue. I’d definitely be comfortable with coming back for another show!

Honestly a pretty great venue. Went to a concert there a few weeks ago to see Red Velvet and the views were great. The audio quality was great in every seat as I had some friends go that sat in much higher up seats. They even had a place for people to wait inside before entering the actual venue to get in. 100% would go to a concert here again.

I love this place. The concerts are magnificent. If youve never been to a play or a concert this is the place to go. Trust me

Even up high in the fourth tier the sound was really good. Very nice venue with parking.

The restaurant serves nice assortment of pre-show snacks, appetizers, burgers, pizza. Salmon and Avocado toast was very tasty. You can also get good drinks in the bar. The venue has comfortable seats with great view from each level. Shen Yun show was not impressive enough to justify its very expensive price.

Theater itself is beautiful, easy to navigate and kept very clean. The refreshments are a bit on the expensive side however this is something I expected for a performance venue.I would highly recommend the film/concert series. I attended the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix concert and was amazed. The full orchestra accompanying the film was beautiful. I am already planning to attend the next film in the series.

The theater was small and the chairs uncomfortably close and small. I had a ton of fun, and the venue is gorgeous. The employees were all friendly and pleasant to interact with. The bathroom is large and clean! They have a cute little concession stand with plenty of snacks and drinks.I really enjoyed the performance we saw. Lightning and sound were excellent. The stage is a great size for smaller productions.Parking across the street is spacious and well lit, maintained well. It was 20 the night we went, which I felt was a bit high but not too bad.The main problem I have is the location. This part of the city terrifies me!

This Theater is amazing not just for the ambiance but for the people who work there. They are amazing. From the person who mistakenly over charged me for my drink who search through the crowd to find me to refund me down to 3 very special ushers, Sandra, Julia, and Edwin who went above and beyond to try to accommodate us with a special needs situation. I was so moved I tried to tip them and the refused to take any money. This is how you keep people coming through your doors. If you want to have a stellar night out, come here and you will not be let down. Thank you all for making our night out wonderful.

Nice place to see shows. The items for sale are way overpriced but that is how it is. Facility is clean, well kept, the staff is friendly, and the staff are very helpful. I have been here twice and that was to see Daniel Tigers Neighborhood and Paw Patrol Live so that is what I am basing my review on.

Great talent was in the building that night. There is a restaurant attached for people looking make a whole evening at the event. There was bartenders by the doors for refreshments. The staff was nice but they either was new or had an off day since they had trouble finding our seats. We did arrive a little late but I would think by look at the tickets they would have a fair idea where we were supposed to be. Either way I still had a great time hearing Ledisi and Gregory Porter perform nothing like live music.

I love this theater and the size of it! The staff is attentive and nice. The show was dynamic and well done. The seating is expansive and comfortable with very few seats that have limited sight.

Went to watch Star Wars. Very cool. Orchestra was amazing!!

I was supposed to be in Mexico all week. The show almost made up for missing my trip. I am glad that I saw it. There were some artists that I had seen before and some that I finally got to see and all were performing Hendrix songs

My second time going to NJPAC. Easily accessible, great affordable parking for events. Very easy to use. Police and parking personnel ensure a very smooth experience. Would definitely go back there to watch other shows.

Great venue as well as clean and well maintained facility for taking in a performance. We were there to see an afternoon performance of Shen Yun. Excellent performance. We had great seats on the 1st tier. It looked to me though that just about all seats are good, all with unobstructed views. You dont feel all jammed in either. Friendly usher service. Parking is convenient although pricey ($26) as are all the refreshments. Come early to be assured of good parking and in case of heavy traffic.

I saw the new jersey symphony there it was amazing. The venue is beautiful. Theres not a bad seat in the house, all comfortable, with ample leg room. If you have never been here its time you go youll be pleasantly surprised.

First time seeing a show here. The wife got us tickets to see Cirque Dreams Holidaze. Glad we went. Everything from the parking, getting in, and out of the show was great. The staff was so great and friendly, and helpful. The show was amazing and such a good time.

Went to see Star Wars in concert. The NJSO is amazing. The auditorium is very nice...we sat two tiers up but view was great. NJPAC is easy to get to and parking was very close.

What an awesome place! Best concert hall I have been in. Excellent venue and even the artists commented and were impressed by it! Truly phenomenal experience there!

Ive been to several shows ar NJ Pac and its always been a great time! However, the drinks are a bit over priced. The best tip I can give you is to pre-pay for parking in advance online, or pay at the kiosk BEFORE showtime.

Modern and spacious venue for live performances. Saw an amazing show here by the Peking Acrobats. The venue is only a short distance from Newark Penn Station, convenient for out-of-town visitors.

Enjoyed myself. I sang almost all the songs. Stephanie Mills is and always be my LOVE favorite singer and I love the Whispers. I had my cousin and auntie singing with me. Great time.

Went to see Fluffy here.... It was AMAZING!!! This place is beautiful and so elegant looking.... I thought I was under dressed with my blouse, slacks, and boots.... But there are people who literally came in their PJs... This place rocks! I just wish they would enforce a dress code... People suck, this place deserves better.

It was great!!!the worker are very nice and helpful, my girl and I have problems walking and they walked us to and from our seats. And she even came back to check on us. Im very impressed. Im planning on going back very soon. I just love the place.

I saw Savion Glover here and loved it. This venue is beautiful, the staff is professional and the performances are top notch. This place is perfect for a Sunday family outing.

An amazing venue with a very helpful and friendly staff. The acoustics are great and every seat has an excellent view of the stage. On site restaurant - Nico - is.very good and offers a fixed price pre show dinner.

A gorgeous venue for various performances. Due to stadium seating, most views are good. The only downside is that there is only one entrance and it can get crowded as there is no real organization when entering. Parking is directly across the street and is reasonable ($20 at the time of this writing).

Loved. Ushers and people at the door are great and cutaneous... snack bar is ridiculously overpriced.. smh.. 5$ for a bag a cheetos and $18 for Hennessy and coke(a capful of Hennessy, so I didnt buy the snacks or drinks.) I had a great time.. wonderful place

NJSO performing musical score for Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back movie was quite an experience. Orchestra had us Star Wars fans in their back pocket right from the get go playing the 20th Century Fox theme at the start. Great venue, great musicians, great music, great movie, and a very appreciative audience.

Best venue I have ever been to. The sound was magical, it felt so intimate. I was spiritually moved by the performances. #Surreal

A great place for childrens theater, as well as adult concerts.

I always like the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. Unfortunately many of the performers I like do not perform there. This arts center is beautiful and very modern. It is surrounded by a few parking lots. Sufficient security before and after event. They do have a bar and restaurant with the Center.

Great venue. Comfortable seats. Plenty of room. A very enjoyable evening.

All I have to say is it was worth going there I just see not only my grandson but other kids well enjoying it I never experienced anything like that before. If I was asked to give it a rating I say 10 no doubt if you ever get a chance and theyre showing a show like they had. If you can get that and go watch the show enjoy yourself

Such a nice theater! Very clean and the staff was efficient but could be a bit more organized.Ill also mention that the parking situation can be madness here and with street closures, youd wanna make sure that, if youre attending an event here, you show up earlier than you need to.

Experienced the musical group Chicago. Their fabulous music combined with the great Prudential theater at NJPAC made for a great evening.

You will have great seats no matter where you sit. You will be able to see the full stage.

Went to a comedy show here for Valentines day. Had a great view but the sound was off sometimes.

Fun place to watch arts. Overpriced food though. You should check out a local supermarket if you want to buy chips.

This place is amazing. If you are a fan of art, I recommend visiting NJ Art center. It worth that!

The place was too small to hold a graduation ceremony for both Master and PhD’s students. I think the best option is to go to Prudential center and allow all family members to come for free. My school only gave us 3 guests cards and honestly I wasn’t thrilled about it. They should have selected a bigger place instead. Not all people like to go to an undergrad ceremony but most a willing to not miss your graduate degree!

A great place to watch a show. There are four levels of seating. The bathrooms and areas are generally clean. Seats are ok. You have to be careful when sitting on the upper levels as the rail is pretty low. If you have a lot of people attending the hallways can be very cramped. Staff are pretty friendly and helpful.

It was my first time coming to NJPAC. I really enjoyed it. Raphael Saadiq was a great performer. NJPAC was a great venue and I really enjoyed myself. Ill definitely be coming back again!

I love the concerts, so relaxing.The bus ride on the other hand was horrible. Because we have a small group, Stouts bus co. sent a shuttle bus. The ride was terrible! I have spinal stenosis and could nearly get out if bed and walk the next am. Its Monday and am still sore. If this is gonna be the new norm, Im afraid ill have to cancel my subscription, which I DONT want to do. Been going for years.

NJ PAC is standing the test of time even being close to the Prudential Center. Not a bad seat in the house, even if youre on the upper tiers. Not a 5 star rating because they should have more elevators to accommodate people who cannot use the stairs. So get there early so you wont miss the show waiting to get to your seat.

It was wonderful as usual. A clean venue where the staff is professional and dont mind assisting you when you need it. I look forward to visiting again real soon.

Its such a great place to go especially if you dont have the means or the way to go to Broadway or into the city for a great show. This is such a affordable way to have such a wonderful time. Ive gone four times so far over the years and I absolutely love it! I wish I could go more! There is nothing in the whole world like a live show/play etc!
