I had such a wonderful time including the participation of the weather made my time there awesome. The view was on point along with the lights reflecting off the water, makes this a great place for relaxation and love.

Pier 63 is great. The wind rolls the water. And has a calming effect on your senses

A park for all ages. Plenty of sitting area with shade. A great place to chill out on a hot summer day.

Pier 62 is best enjoyed in the morning before the crowds pick up. The views uptown and across the river towards Weehawken are great. Also super fun to watch the yachts, sailboats, and ferries go by. There are plenty of benches, both in the sun and the shade. Clean bathrooms are on the side of the Chelsea Piers building (to the south—a separate area with a golf driving range, ice rink, etc.)If running or biking, there are two separate trails, one for bikes / blades and the other for foot traffic. These can be a bit hard to follow as you head north up the west side of Manhattan, but watch the marking on the pavement and you’ll be able to figure it out.

We did a sunset cruise here and it was fantastic. The boat was beautiful and the staff were amazing. Nothing better than a couple of drinks while sailing around NYC

The hornblower is docked and serving drinks rooftop. Excellent service great night to be on the water.

Amazing and very relaxing place

Went to the pier for a Dinner Cruise with friends from CA. Before we boarded we strolled around the pier checking out the cute shops & activities. After the great cruise, we enjoyed sitting on benches watching the Hudson in the moonlight. They were impressed.

Great spot right by the pier. Awesome pool. Not a very progressive park wouldn’t recommend it as a place to teach kids. Can get pretty busy.

Great place to visit with your family. Also the highline is right by it. Then you have the park next to the pier and many nice small things to visit.

Pleasant enough place for some sports and fitness activities. Also a point of departure for some boat excursions. Onsite signage is terrible, including an outdated and misleading map. Spent a while wandering about looking for a departure dock, fortunately found it in time. Nice historical displays and photos on a lengthy history wall.

Took the three hour Manhattan II Cruise from the AIA. If you like an educational component to your activities it is pretty great.

Clean place w great views. We took a mini cruise for a work related event and it was fun.

It was enjoyable. I wish the boat ride went up further.

Great place to just pick a bench and watch the sunset on a nice summers day. They also have events if youd like! I would look into them, they have bands come play, dancers dance and salsa dancing lessons! I would love to go dance some salsa this summer!

Yon never know who you are going to meet. Lots of stars visit there and the skate park and carousel is fun

Absolutely stunning location!! I took my fiancé here for a sail boat ride and I must say living in NY all our lives this day was such an escape!! It’s great for photos, picnics, time with friends, lounging, watching the sunset, laying on the grass and just about everything you’d want to do to escape the busy streets of the city. We will be back regularly!

Fantastic place to spend the day. There is a beautiful carousel and a top of the line skatepark on this pier. Plenty of seating or lounge chairs available all over the pier. The carousel is a great place to spend some time people watching. This skatepark is one of the best in NYC. Plenty of talent and age groups in here. They have a bowl in the back and the layout is fantastic. One of the most talented spots for the older age groups.

After a brutal situation with my family I have been trying to find the areas where my mother hung out as a young nurse before moving to Florida. I was able to locate hook Park and some other places and its been a blessing to contact one of her dear friends to get more details Im just trying to find hard hard and hospital where she used to work. I found the convent where she was raised in till they found her home.

Its good place definitely but not intended for tourism or picnics.

Cant speak for the SkatePark, or the Carosel, but on a warm day, bring a couple of friends, a picnic cooler, sunglasses and a chill attitude, walk out to the tables by the Hudson. Park your asses and watch the sunset. All good.

Beautiful pier with a skate park, large grassy area, carousel, long pier with lots of benches and space for events. Chelsea Piers is just a stones throw away.
