The quietness of the local appears to make you feel relaxed and inspired. I loved it while I was visiting Multi Groups units in Oct 2016. Very quiet and cool.

Pretty neat building snack dab in the middle of wall street. Historically it is a great piece of architecture. Only sullied to most people by the politics of the man involved with remodeling the place. All in all its a nice addition to historic Wall Street.

The Duane Reade pharmacy is why I come to this building. I can get my photos here when I order online. They have the usual variety of products, a pharmacy, food, beauty products, household items, etc.

I went to see a lawyer there for friend. I stay there for over 3 hours no lunch they only offer me water and hot beverages. They didnt even compensate me for traveling from PA. The firm was on the 52 floor. Zaremba and Brown

Very well maintained building. Security is thorough but very customer service oriented. The views from 59th floor are spectacular.

To be honest there is nothing special here, there so much more to See in NY

I visited this place on July 4th, Many restaurants and fast food centers are closed. Near by is Charging bull, an icon for NYs wall street.

The only good thing about this address is the Duane Reade drugstore, fresh lunch food and many other products. There has been a sign in the window announcing a Dean and Deluca food store opening soon for the past 5 years or so. I think they dont want to show that it has been empty for years and no one wants to rent this space in this Trump Building. Take the escalator and go up to this Duane Reade store...my only recommendation.

The 2/3 Wall Street subway stop is IN THE LOBBY. Pretty cool. The lobby is a public space where you can get a snack from a sushi/salad spot or Starbucks. Many local workers come here to relax, eat, check email etc. If you are visiting the Financial District this is a great place to sit down and rest.

The 24 hour CVS is conveient for toilitries, fruits and togo food!

The building itself seems quite tall and well built. It has been here for many years. At one point I think it was the tallest in the world until they put that spire on the Chrysler building. Some people (tourists) take pause at the name splashed across the front in large font and say things like does that toolbag really own this place? and pose for pictures in front of it. It has a school inside it on multiple floors which is some degree of irony I suppose. The Duane Reade in the lobby is as good a use for a lobby as I have ever seen. So you should definitely go stand outside it sometime and discuss politics with strangers or go inside and purchase some personal care items. Everybody says so.

The absolute best Duane Reade / Walgreens in the US. Unbelievable selection and the afternoon / evening pharmacy staff are priceless.

Very big open space for public easy to trains and shopping

Duane Reade at 40 Wall is beyond description. Its got everything you need, and most of what you didnt realise you were going to need. From the pharmacy to the sushi chefs - just outstanding!

Everything is fake. Several elevators are always broken. People get stuck in them since management wont post a sign or turn off malfunctioning elevators. The marble is just painted styrofoam - I have seen a broken one. There is no handicap access to the office part, just to the Duane Reade. The doors are too heavy to open if youre disabled. Security is supposed to let you in if you knock, but theyll just laugh as you show your id through the door. Reminding staff about the ADA gets you a reminder that someone already tried that, and they got sued. Dont rent office space here. The bathrooms are disgusting, too.

Beautiful ️ spot to relax and bring family

I stayed here for about a night for a meeting. Room service is a bit pricey but the service it self was really good. I enjoyed the stay and the early morning breakfast.

While I just entered the building to ask them where Walgreens is located and instead of showing me they asked me for my ID and told me that they saved my information and then showed me on the side the Walgreens, this is clearly a violation of privacy, so now my question is why do you need my ID if I just enter Walgreens store to buy a shampoo? Does Walgreens corporate know about it that to enter there store you need to show an ID?

Good location on Wall Street, but most of the adjacent storefronts are empty. Has a 24-hour Duane Reade on the ground floor, which is convenient if you are staying nearby.

The Girl Scouts store is located in this building. You need picture i.d. to go upstairs. Security staff is polite, courteous, respectful.

The lobby security are rude, lazy, unprofessional, not in shape to handle a situation. Most of them are over 55 with undeserving seniority and should be evaluated every 6 months to prevent them from slacking off. They are too comfortable and it shows in their work or lack there of...

A gorgeous complex that only could be a Trump building. However it is nothing special. Walk in take a look and walk out.

Truly a landmark. Right next to a Chace Manhattan headquarters with its height of almost as is glass Chace 40 Wall Street constructed at the beginning of 20th century is so magnificent and deserve all of our attention. So inspiring and unlike any other landmark in Lower Manhattan area.

No color. Too white and flashy.

I was waiting for a walking tour in the area and went inside the lobby looking for a washroom. A security guard came out of nowhere and said something to me which I didnt understand. When I asked him to repeat himself and said I didnt understand what hed said, he got very upset, accused me of pretending to not understand (he had an accent and I really didnt catch what hed said the first time) and kicked me out of the building. So much for the Public Welcome sign on the door.
