Smooth and well built, but the word I heard my friend use to describe this park is maybe the only word to describe it: aggressive.
Awesome park with food nearby. The bowls are awesome, with a huge park to go with it
Awesome park, go in the morning to have it to yourself!
Fun if you can skate bowls. Even a little. Great park.
This is a wonderful skatepark with great ramps and transition. Amazing for beginners and pros alike
Fun park and great location. The park is compact and somewhat intimidating, for experienced skaters only. Can be dangerous if busy, and the deep bowls can be brutal. There are interesting spots in the park that I had a lot of fun doing tricks on!
So much vert so little time. A great big bowl of fun. Tons of area to work on the list art of vert skating.
Found a site that finally had a good skate park Im going to be honest I did not go yet but I know that I will have a great experience well I hope so Ive been looking all over different sites of skatepark one that had big ramps and then also had stairs and hills that you can slide down so I hope I do have a great experience I cant wait to go I am rating it a four because I havent gone yet but hopefully the rate will be a five thank you Pier 62 for having one up the best skateparks in NYC
Best Skate park in NYC.Warning -Bring a Skate helmet.Dont Skate here without a helmet even if youve been skating many years.
This is an amazing park, however its big, really big. Therefore would only recommend to experienced skaters and transition skaters.
Very busy and there is only really hard stuff or really easy but the people are nice
AWESOME. Great bowl. Lots of talent. Every age group. Good number of people with gray hair. And they are at home here. I was speechless for the first hour. Seen a young future legend here. Lets get a Dunno photo shoot here?
Great place for very skaters who are a little advanced. Not to much street or flat here.
Lovely park, well designed, smooth..but can full of arrogant kids paying some random for skateschool, was 4 groups when I was there!
This park offers a friendly and encouraging vibe. Its aerodynamic shape allows for multiple different ways to pick up speed throughout the park. There is a bowl about 13 feet (4m) deep that was pretty intimidating for most but childs play for others. There were many drop off points that proved easy for most however overall the park wasnt really made with beginners in mind. The park is also the perfect place for someone practicing dropping in to get used to the feeling of the shifting body weight and momentum with all of its mini and moderate ramps and drop offs. As a whole this park is very fun and a guaranteed good time for almost anyone who goes.
Endless amounts of transitional skating. Also had a really cool local crowd sessioning the back pool.
Great size and always have friendly people all the time.
Skate park, beautiful. its soo big and its super nice to ride down the big ramps. only 3 stars though because no scooters. apparently only skateboards are allowed there. so i got kicked out by the guards. why did this awesome skatepark had to ban scooters.
Very nice skatepark. Spectators need to stay outside the fence, they are not allowed inside and there is no room for them either. Skateboarding only.
I’m not a skater, but I shot a music video here and it was amazing just watching the skaters I had the best time of my life. Moment that I will never forget. Now I wish I knew how to skate
Super sick vert concrete jungle
Really good park to work on transition skateboarding. Also has very friendly locals
Fabulous skatepark with street and transition options. Beautiful 10 foot bowl. Best in NYC
No BMX, It’s to crowded and rules unfair!
Nice park, wack experience. Make half day sessions for people who only want to skate for 30 min to an hour. Experienced adults shouldnt have to wear helmets. I wont be coming back until basic changes are made.
The best part is that there are no scooters or bikes allowed.. such a good rule.
Sickest skate park ever! Bigger and better than venice beach, but not as nice a view
I cant skate vert to save my life but its a good skatepark regardless
Awesome place.
I was so narrly
The park is amazing in terms of riding i am learning to skate down banks which is a little terrifying at first but you get the hand off it over all the park is good
No bikes are allowed. And it looks like a fun skatepark.
Absolutely the most fun skatepark in new york city. Plenty of pool coping to shred. If you enjoy skating at all then you should go to this.
Flow of the park is decent. Pool is super-fun. Come at the right times or it gets too crowded.
Chill Environment Big park
People are very friendly and helpful. there wasn’t a lot of people so it was cool
Absolutely the most fun skatepark in new york city. Plenty of coping to go around. If you enjoy skating at all, youll love chelsea.
I (still) love this place, bc its the closest skatepark
Great skatepark.
Best concrete skatepark in New York City. Only place with real vert.
Only allow skate boards, it’s wack as heck.
...that skatepark is freeeshh!! : )
Great park, friendly skaters.
Looks good but not better than the Abacoa skatepark in Jupiter
Bmx is not allowed here. Either because of occupancy or arbitrary reasons
If you enjoy skating, this is your spot!
Nice skate park, a lot of varieties, bows and everything
Spot for pros xd
Awesome park
Great place to skate!
Barely any beginner ramps so beginners try to avoid this park
Best tranny park in NYC.
