Love this place. Nice size place to put on an event. Safe, restrooms are near. Its well kept safe and clean. Set are plenty and in tacked.

It was stormed out. We enjoyed the largest soul train line, and soul train tribute.And as AMAZING GRACE began to play the heavens opened up on us.And showered down lightning and rain, escorted in with high winds.It was absolutely beautiful.We went inside of Pelham Fritz Recreational Center for cover.Once inside I pulled out my tambourines and begin to usher in the spirit.We had an amazing time.Oh and Richard Rodger Amphitheatre is a great space for seeing live theater, concerts, comedy...

Good place for shows/concerts

Such a beautiful amphitheatre -- such a sad place to see go unused except as a bathroom and home for homelessness.

My buddy and I stumbled across the venue during a summer jazz concert series. Really awesome way to spend an afternoon!

Its a great space. The seating is perfect. I love coming to this wonderful outdoor theater.

This is one of Marcus Garvey Parks greatest improvements. The theater host great shows and community events. I am very glad that this theater was renovated.

Awesome sound and lighting. It was a nice cool night in July so thankfully no mosquitoes but I can imagine how miserable a hot steamy mosquito infested night would be.

Acoustics arent bad but the setting sun over the stage will ensure your pictures are pitch black. Additional canopies over the audience seating g would be ideal.

Unfortunately its also a place where the homeless frequent...
