Got tickets to see Lisa Lampellini at the New York Comeday Festival tonight, and was so disappointed we walked out half way through the show. To call it a comedy show was a little far fetched, it was more a counselling session for the so-called story tellers to try to be funny as they tell their traumatic weight loss stories. What’s worse, the comedians were reading from their scripts and the dramatisation was purely slapstick over-exaggeration with no wit involved. Purely disappointing.

Had tickets to see Sarah Silverman from August until the day of the show November 13. Diva cancelled at last minute (I heard 6 hours before show time). BAM did refund quickly, but no word of apology at all from the festival.If you do not care enough to tweet 140 characters of apology, then Im left to assume you dont care about the disappointed fans.That was my last purchase for anything festival-related. Just not worth the disappointment and aggravation.
