Love this place so much and so do my kids! Beautiful space, super clean and fun, very friendly staff and awesome toys, pre covid we loved joining for classes...I hope more locations open...
Most fun toy store. The combination of delight for the kids and support for parents is a win. The ‘magic door’ leads to a larger space full of experiences and play. There is space for pushchairs/strollers and even drop-off play sessions. The whole store is refreshed with a new theme c6~8 times a year. Recommended retail experience.
This place is incredible, absolutely amazing. The most beautiful and magnificent store Ive been in in a long time, its an adventure, a fantasy, and basically Funko- Disneyworld in a shop.
Pure kid fun awesomeness! First of all, the secret door to enter the camp is the stuff childhood fantasies are made of! Enter into the camp where it’s chock full of crafts, retail, demos, and play areas; think sequins wall, slide, bunk beds, and a throwback station wagon for climbing around in. Prices on point for NYC so don’t expect bargains but it’s a great place to spend some hours on a slow weekend afternoon.
This is a child’s and parents dream store. It has an assortment of clothes, books and toys for infant to 10 years. It is just like camp but a store. Go through the secret book shelve to enter the forest to camp where there are slides, bridges of rivers, areas for scooters, arts and craft and every toy you can imagine. Take you kid here when looking for fun activities to keep them entertained and to see find gifts for birthdays and holidays.
What a fun store! The magic door, the toys, the employees and the atmosphere are just all in all fantastic. Great place to be as a kid or an adult. We love that you can play with the toys and theyre so friendly to everyone that comes through the door. Weve done one activity at this particular Camp store and it was lots of fun. We will be returning in the near future for some more fun.
This is a must on a trip with kids! Such a fun and interactive place! Prices are so reasonable for activities. Even the toys have competitive prices. My kids really enjoyed all the activities. I would definitely go back and I highly recommend a visit to anyone nearby.
One of the greatest, and free, indoor activities for the family. You walk in to what seems like a small novelty shop. But go through the secret entrance and you enter a hidden child’s paradise, filled with fun games and activities to keep the kids occupied for the whole afternoon. Adults, fear not, as this kid-friendly wonderland is also very instagram-friendly. Staff are super energetic, welcoming, and accommodating; truly elevating the experience overall!
Such a great experience store! The kids were so excited! The toys, sweets and gadgets are finely curated and walking around you want to get everything. The experience starts by entering the camp store and walking into the hidden basecamp through a secret door behind the candy wall. A nice camp counselor welcomes kids and families into the huge space where they can interact with toys, climb a bunk bed and slide down into a dance floor. At one corner a camp counselor blows edible bubbles for the enjoyment of the kids and at another kids can walk on a musical bridge. The place hosts events for kids such as arts and craft, DIY and more. The staff are super friendly and make the kids feel welcome and entertained.
Very nice store and smiling workers..best
Not your average toy shop- never known a place like it! Hidden behind a secret door a magical experience for all the family with lots of fun and free activities
Omg! Such a fun store! Push the secret door and be transported to the rest of the store with fun activities for kiddos and loads of fun toys, educational games, books, and other fun trinkets. Go in if you have kids, and also if you dont!
Very cool kids store with a milk dessert bar! Make sure you go to the secret room in the back!
Great fun place for the kids and adults alike. The stock of merchandise is a wide variety from all tastes and interests. The secret room in the back is a great space to entertain the children. The staff are friendly and helpful, the kids did not want to leave!
I have loved this place since it opened. Fantastic for buying birthday presents for your kids friends or kill an hour on a rainy Sunday. They recently redid the inside, which was a great idea since the original install was getting a little ragged. The new travel theme is a lot of fun and my kids were thrilled with the surprise of the new look. Staff are great! Super friendly and helpful. Buyers are great! Good selection of many different styles of play and a wide age range.I have to give 3 stars though. The only problem is that it has a credit card only policy. Besides the general economic discrimination embodied by this choice you cant give your kids a fiver to buy some candy or small toy and you loose a nice chance to empower them in an environment that has been painstakingly crafted to be all about them.
Great store to spend during winter - too small though.. because of kids running around most of the merchandise are in a mess.
Omg my kids loved this! Very interactive! You can keep going back they keep changing it up so its a different experience each visit! Also they have great toys!! And great prices
Great time for kids aged 3-9 years. Most of the toys and the exhibit/stations/activities were geared to that age range. There was not much aimed at older children. Decent board game selection, small gadget selection, and a somewhat seemingly-out-of-place music equipment section. Theres also a coffee shoppe for the parents to refuel. Overall, a fun experience, but no FAO Schwarz...if thats still around :(
Really cool toy store. My kid signed up for a music class and they put on a really good show.
Great & exciting place for the whole family. Nice staff.
This place is so magical! The secret passageway is such a treat for kids and adults. My 3 year old and I had a great time. Their toys are reasonably priced too so we left with souvenirs.
CAMP seems to be a normal retail shop in the front room, but what behind the bookshelf door is where the magic happens. Highly recommended if you go there with little loved ones.
This place is like wonderland. I went in looking for a board game to gift a family member and stumbled across one of the best family-friendly experiences in Manhattan. Super friendly and professional team that truly enjoys creating fun offscreen experiences for kids
I went with my wife and both sons 3 years old and 18 months old on new year day it’s very nice place for kids to play and do activities it’s has hidden play ground and arts and crafts activities and plenty of nice toys for sellThe ice cream shop in the front is very tasty specially the cereal flavor
How do they stay in business?? Amazing place to take kids. The secret door to the play area is a great way to surprise kids. You can easily kill a couple hours in here. Havent seen the workshops/classes but the place is great and the staff is super nice and helpful.
So much fun. Such an amazing idea and very easy to spend a couple of hours there. There is also things to purchase as well as classes they hold for activities.
Amazing place for kids! The secret door makes you feel like getting inside a new world of toys fun kids activities and enriching shows. You can spend all day with the family in this awesome place. Very educating time and the staff makes you feel welcome.
A lovely idea and a great shop, the only thing I wish it was more for all ages of children. It really seems to gear towards toddlers and young kids my 10 years old enjoyed the cooking class (was advised for all ages ) but was surrounded with babies and fellt a bit out of place. Also there is not area where she could have played after the class. All and all a great experience though
I recently visited with friends. Awesome experience, but it was ruined at the end when we hit up the ice cream counter. The woman assisting us was extremely rude and impatient, even by NY standards. She made us all feel very uncomfortable. Otherwise, a great shop for kids!
Fun place (and spend time while hiding from the cold wather). Great selection of toys, crafts and games for each age and for the whole family.
Fun store! Gifts you never thought of.
Great idea but some disappointment for kids 7 & 8 you encourage them to go to all the rooms promising a prize, they definitely did not have a CAMP sticker on mind.I suggest don’t continue with it, kids are not stupid. We did spend $30.- in the store
This place is absolutely mind boggling. A must see whether youre a kid or not. Very nice staff.
Lots of kids activities in addition to cool things to buy if you want.
Wonderful immersive the experience. Excellent staff, brimming with positive energy.
Fun with little kids, but watch out!!Certain kids will want you to buy every toy they played with.
Great place to spend a few hours with kids. Lots of fun toys and activities. They also have events throughout the day (like story time or craft activities) that can be purchased separately. Theres a milk bar Cafe in the front for coffee and snacks. A great variety of toys and gear available for purchase.
Great store to take kids to play around. The place is incredibly big ( after you go through the secret door) with lots of play areas for the little ones. No children will be disappointed in that area. And for the big ones the front store has lots of different toys and clothing for children. I am happy to buy something every time I go there to support such great store!
I LOVED THIS PLACE ESPECIALLY THE SECRET ENTRANCE WAS COOL.
Come here weekly, best place ever. Marc is amazing
Looking for something fun to do with your little ones while visiting New York? Stop in here you will not regret it. The store looks like any other when you first walk in but then they push open a wall to another world made just for kids! They can climb and build or just explore this wonderful world created just for them. A stop at the milk bar cafe tops off the visit.
This store constantly amazes. Wonderful place for growing minds
My kid had fun doing the slide and scooter track in the current theme, but she wanted us to buy something, which wasnt going to happen. It left us all in a sour mood, but I guess its on us since it is, in fact, a toy store.
I LOVE experience shopping! Weve been in experience stores before, but this one is above and beyond! From the secret entrance to the musical bridge to a slide in the store, we loved it. The prices are reasonable and Im always happy to spend a little money, it ends up cheaper than most ways to spend time with kids in NYC. The staff is super friendly, even with kids running all around. Its enjoyable for parents too.
Quality products... wonderful play experience for our 3/4yr-olds
Such a fun store for people of all ages. My 4.5 year old love being able to play with everything.
I was not informed Nor SEEN any Signs indicating they DO NOT ACCEPT CASH WHATSOEVER. ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE MOST EMBARRASSSING EXPERIENCES In my life. MY SONS 3RD BIRTHDAY AND COULDNT PURCHASE HIS GIFTS. HUGE DISSAPPOINTMENT.
Fun store and lot of things to do for the little ones.
Was a good experience worth about an hour or so of your time depending on if your children are inclined to do some arts & crafts.
The best place for kids. I found amazing and creative toys. Loved the experience, staff is so friendly and helpful.
Bring your kids! It’s a magical experience. I can’t share more than that or I’ll ruin it, but it was a fun pop up shop.
What a cool place for kids & their parents. Must visit. The toys and games are on the expensive side though.
This store its incredible, worth the visit!!
Really cool toy store with tons of unique products. Kids will love it.
They have great things like toys, games, costumes, cooking things a trampoline, a slide and lots more plus they also include singing and lot, so come on down to have fun campstyle with friends and families.
Best. Store. Ever. We stumbled upon this store accidentally on grand opening day, so happy we did!!!! This is a children’s paradise and adults will love it too. Staff is awesome and prices are reasonable . You’ll want to spend the whole day there. Secret doors, glitter room, old school station wagons..... it’s just everything. Get there now.
Such great fun, so worth the trip. Friendly staff and the look of excitement when the secret door opens on the kids faces is priceless.
My daughter loved it . Great Staff
Fun place for the kids. Come early to avoid the lines
Toy store perfection. A toy store where kids can play for hours, and a well-curated selection to take-away!
Its EXCELLENT FOR KIDS, AND ADULTS
Love bringing my son here
Today the activities were more for older kids. Was hard to find something to do with my 18 months old kid
Most amazing toy store ever
Exciting new store, fun for kids in a wet afternoon
Kids love it! Wear jogging shoes!
Its a fun and colorful store
So cute!!! Lots of kids playing the staff was so friendly!!
It was so much fun! Its really for kids 7 and under.
What is a Kids Store if not a place that takes you back to a time where the world still seemed full of possibilities and excitement, when everything seemed new. The CAMP store is certainly that, more than just a toy store, more than just a place to take the kids, CAMP tries to engage your senses and encourages you to play and explore. Dont be fooled by your initial impression as more than 2/3s of the store is hidden behind a secret bookshelf door. Once through your taken into a transformed space that embodies a changing theme, with new products and interactive experiences. Product selection seems geared to kids in the 12 and under range but theres plenty there for older kids and adults, and these items are picked with the same care as those for children. Rounding that out is a slate of interactive classes and performances some of which are only available by a reasonable membership fee, and others seem open to all. This is a store you revisit even if just to see what they have done with their next theme, the kind you are excited about taking your nieces and nephews just to see their faces light up. Highly recommended, and as if all that wasnt reason enough to visit theres also a Milkbar serving an exclusive smore flavor only available at CAMP, one that usually has no line.
Cool secret play area and decent prices
Was interesting
My granddaughter had lots of fun.
This is an amazing store!!!my granddaughter had such an enriching experience and the staff where so friendly and helpfulthank you for the unique experience!!
Incredible place! Every kid’s dream store!

Great place for kids, even adults enjoy watching the movie
Very good place to bring your kids. Activities are great, a little bit pricey
Cool toy store with a secret door to a cooler toy store.
Sneaky good time if you have kids. Coffee shop helps.
Its very nice place
Its really cool and designed well, we warn everybody you should not come here if your kids are quiet little angels that dont like to run play and get messy
Very special experience
Amazing Take your kids
1. Customer service was TERRIBLE2. VERY limited stock (what they did have was cheap and over priced)3. Gift wrapping is for Mastercard holders only and was mediocre at best4. The camp experience was filthy and poorly keptDont waste your time or money.
Fun and interactive toy store
By far one of the coolest stores I have ever been to! Must see for anyone with children
The best indoor play
Best store for kids in the whole of manhattan. actually lets kids be kids and it is not a tourist trap (yet!)
Run with my daughter to get there on a Sunday before a 7PM, should be open in according with google ad, and it was losed at 6:30 PM !! So attention ! Call before hoing there !!
Horrible service for a business that handle small people. I crossed the city for my daughter go there and the store was closed at 6:20 even the website and Google saying that closing time was 7pm. We got from them A LOT of tears!!!! Thanks CAMP!
Amazing! So much fun for kids
Awesome interactive retail space! Definitely recommended!
Amazing store design..and selection of toys
Awesome place for toddlers to pretend campers
Wouldn’t allow my kids in the secret room.
