Great place to see original painings of Rodrigue blue dogs and his other stuff. Really nice and the reception is friendly enough that you can walk in and enjoy his painting without the pressure of buying one- which was great for me as his fan.

Definitely one the the most informative galleries. The story of the artists life will give you chills. I loved how Blue Dog came to be. How an artist can take something scary and make it happy. Im not an art lover, but this left me in awe. If youre in New Orleans, make this a stop. You wont regret it!

George Rodrigue was such a great artist & brought smashing notoriety to Louisiana with the famous Blue Dog. Glad I was able to meet him when he first opened his gallery in the French Quarter!

Home of the artist known for the blue dog that is famous in the area. I was unaware that he painted the dog into many more situations than I could ever imagine. Lovely to come and take a look around.
