Clean, quiet and serene. Lovely walking trails. If you head over towards the Phillips Hill Rd side theres a waterfall. Theres also a dog park. I dont use it with my dogs anymore because of a particularly aggressive dog and equally aggressive owner, but that was a while ago. The park itself has big fields for sports that are clean and well maintained. Restroom facilities are available and a picnic area.
Very nice peaceful ambiance. I definitely go there to enjoy the trail and get a nice hike and definitely my favorite place is the waterfall where I just go and meditate and enjoy the quiet and beauty of nature itself.
Loved the easy short trail for a pleasant walk. To my surprise, the sun was just hitting the waterfall and dam area very nicely. Clean, nice paths
My first time coming here. Its really beautiful with lots of open fields and walking paths. Only thing is, I read in the reviews that theres a waterfall here and I couldnt find it. I walked the paths and theres no indication of a waterfall. Other than that, I had a nice time. The bathrooms are open and people are social distancing. Come for a stroll or spend a few hours here.
Beautiful place. Very large area. Conveniently located. Highly recommend.
Beautiful park for exercise, relaxing and having something to do for a few hours. Free parking. Soccer fields, small waterfall and beautiful trails. Exercise course needs an update and a pool would be nice.
This dog park doesn’t have enough benches and there isn’t any water supplied for the dogs, you must bring your own. There should be a portion for smaller dogs like it’s done in other parks. In the heat of the summer there isn’t any shade for the dogs or owners. Unfortunately, nothing has changed in over 10 years.
Quiet park, not a hike more of a walk. Listen for the water fall as it is off the trail a little, nice little waterfall
Great for dogs, and so quiet right now!
Its really nice. Trails are easy to follow. And the waterfall is really pretty
I occasionally go to Kennedy Dells for a long walk. But be warned, after heavy rains it will be very muddy.
Who doesnt love Zukor? Best smelling park in Rockland.
The hiking is easy and all paths are pretty well kept. There are some muddy spots but overall the terrain is pretty flat and smooth. The hike down to the broken dam is well worth it,... beautiful spot. You are never far from civilization and you can start and end at the same spot where you parked. The fitness trail stops are mostly run down but there are still runners using it as well as walkers of all ages. Overall, a nice park for a leisurely hike.
Location, cleanliness. Its gated
The crazy things I used to do here...
Nice dog park. You need to bring your own water.
It is a nice place to hike.
Amazing park and peaceful trails.
Nice place to walk with your 4 legged buddy!
Beautiful place to go for a outing
Great area
Great place to walk and enjoy nature. Robert F. Kennedy park is the original name (wish they didnt change it).
Yes it’s a great place to walk your dog
Amazing place
Very nice place for a quick walk in the woods. However I wish that the exercise equipment on the fitness trail was in working order and that they had a functioning bathroom.
Great park to walk your dog!
Big trail
This review applies strictly to the trail area. The hiking trail, which the county website considers to be a present use of the park, is in horrendous condition. If you want to go for a walk through nature, sure its fine and you see some wildlife which is nice. But throughout the trail area are different stations, mostly promoting exercises, and thats a good idea, but man are those signs and equipment in terrible shape. The signs are decades old and wearing down. Worse than that is that some exercises have a corresponding set-up of equipment, mostly tree stumps and metal bars and such; long story short the equipment is rotting, broken and quite frankly not safe to use. I wouldnt touch the stuff without nylon gloves; its unsightly and is an accident waiting to happen. I know its a low or non-existent priority for the county but I think it is worth either removing from the trail or being replaced.
Love this place, great for walking, bring your dog and just chilling!
Beautiful place to walk natural beauty
Well groomed hiking paths with nice soccer and baseball fields. Big basketball courts and kids playground
Beautiful park to hike with a small waterfall
Great place
Beautiful park, come visit with all your family
Clarkstown v United was a disappointment. Mud all around your cleats, your socks and kit. The field was trash because it rained. We scored TWO GOALS. TWO. WE MOVED UP TO C.
Nice place for a walk. Multiple soccer fields. Restrooms in season. Dog walk area.
Awesome place to hike
There are friendly people and friendly dogs there.
Best place to play Ba-Tal! #hevolutes #ftw
A great time there.
A nice park with some ball fields and a very small area for dogs to play off leash.
Big open soccer fields, playground for kids, hiking trail and access to bathrooms. One of the nicer parks in the area IMO. I just wish they had a place to ride bikes as well- biking is not permitted as you approach the trails.
It 10 min walk to get there from the parking lot.
Nice area
Very nice park, fields, playground etc. In a very nice, safe area of New City... so Id highly recommend.
Good dog park, we need more like this in Rockland!
Very nice not quiet but not too crowded its very clean and it has a large area with picnic tables under a roof so if its starting to rain youre not stuck
Great ball field!
