I had a great time at the poetry event they hosted. Everyone was so friendly, it made you feel at home. Will definitely visit again.

Amazing space! The ambiance is so warm and vibrant. Its hard to be in a bad mood when you walk in the building. The events are original and awesome. Cant wait to go back again!

It’s a black owned art studio. Kudos to them! Beautiful art pieces in there and good space for it. Easy to find with street parking available for their events.I Went there this past Saturday (5/5/18) for Trap and Paint. The music was great and the artist/teacher was a great instructor. I had a great time BUT They advertised two prices one without tacos and the other with unlimited tacos. Some people didn’t even get the opportunity to have one plate and I only received one plate, it was also very cramped with not too much space to move around. All in all I would return but more prepared. I only complain about the food because I came on an empty stomach expecting them to actually have enough food for everyone who purchased that option.

I love how Above Art Studios is a great community partner and supports other entrepreneurs. Not to mention the art work display is great. If you ever need something you do check out their weekly events.

Awesome space. All the artwork is amazing. Purchased an original painting to start my art collection. I originally attended their regular paint and sip. Then I rented the space for a private sip and paint event for my birthday and received rave reviews about the location and ambiance. Will definitely recommend!

Great art and welcoming. The art gallery takes pride in showcasing both local art as well as artist from nearby areas. Many events are thrown here and it is a place welcoming to all creative guests and businesses.

I definitely would highly recommend!! I literally have a wall at home dedicated to Above Art Studios from all the sip & paints and trap & paint paintings I have done!! The vibes are always welcoming and positive!! I love the music selections!! The paintings and events are always fun!!

Visited this place for their Black Wine Tasting Event and it did not disappoint. Met some really cool Black Wine Owners, lovelee wines, infuseme wines and honey badger wines, who offer some extraordinary tasting wines. My wine stock has been greatly replenished. Check them out as they host a variety of activities.

Great space! Parking is a little challenging but the space and types of events make up for it!

The black wine tasting event was very good. First time meeting black wine makers. Nice to black women like myself doing well.The host for the evening was good, the ambience and paintings were awesome. I like that they also serve the community in a variety of ways. I live in Northern NJ, but I will come back for another event.

First and foremost Id like to congratulate these young black men! I had a blast at Thursdays Sip & Paint. Great venue and owners are awesome! I not only look forward to the next event but visiting the gallery and taking in the beautiful culturally inspired artwork and talent on display.

Amazing artwork and artists and a down to earth gathering space for people with interests ranging from visual arts, to poetry, to music. The owners are very welcoming and approachable and the space is calming. I actually dont know of any other spaces like this in the new Brunswick area. Its definitely worth a visit.

This was my first time doing a paint and sip and it was Soo fun... I will definitely go there again.

Love this very chic and classy Art Studio. Everyone is so friendly and I always have a good time when I attend their events. The Art is Amazing. Parking can be a challenge but once your inside the studio the atmosphere is engaging and energetic.

Above Art Studios is a very beautiful gallery! The atmosphere is amazing as well as the people. Ive only been there once and during that visit I really enjoyed myself. There is always a great event going on from poetry slams to famous faces and more. I plan to attend many more events to come.

Nas themed - one of my best nights ever!

A group of 8 of us drove from South Jersey to attend the wine tasting that took place on March 30, 2018. We were very disappointed that the event was advertised to begin at 8 pm and did not start until 9:15 pm. There were not enough seats for all in attendance and the event appeared to be very unorganized. Event needed more vendors and a set up where guests could move around from vendor to vendor to sample wines. In addition the videos were not needed. Great concept that the owners were trying to achieve but needs improvement.

Great place to spend time. Always a good vibe and enjoy the people that attend events at the gallery.

I never been here but the gallery looks very nice and interesting the painting looks great, amazing,and they have beautiful pieces of art, it looks like they have fun activities and amazing people! and it look like a excellent and fun, art gallery, i would like to visit this place with some of my friends, now the thing is i dont. know how to paint,i honestly dont have no type of art.

I have been to this gallery 4 times and have had a great experience every time. Everyone down to the host and the guest are friendly. The art is amazing and the wine is great. Definitely would recommend everyone make their way there!

Just attended a Trap Soul Yoga class and it was great. The instructor was warm, friendly and patient. Great atmosphere.
