This is one of my favorite disc golf courses in the twin city area. Quite a lot of wide open holes for the beginners, some wooden holes for the intermediates, and some long doglegs for the advanced players. Also by a beautiful park and river for picnics and other shenanigans.

This Saucer Golf Course is currently only one of three remaining in the State of Minnesota with these cone style baskets. Were blessed to still have this historic course playable for us all to enjoy for nearlythe past 40 years! Please respect it!

A fun short course with some challenging shots through narrow, tree-lined fairways. The coned baskets are interesting!!

Fun course. Great for adult beginners. A little difficult to navigate

Tees are too close to previous baskets in a few places so communicate with other discers to keep everyone safe. Got to love the brutal nature of old school cones!

I would give it a 5 if it had directions along the way. Three of us groups were first timers and were confused were to after hole 2. Besides that its a decent park.

Kind of hard to follow hole placements and skills baskets versus chain baskets

Waste of time. Cones are dumb. Okay shot variety but with Bethel and Riverfront nearby its an easy pass.

Its a nice open course also giving you some up hill and downhill challenge. The baskets are a little trickier but a fun challenge.

Aa

The baskets are not chains, which is not the best. The disc golf course gives you a variety of holes (short in woods, and long, open holes). The course is only 12 holes. Overall, a pretty good course.

I highly enjoy this course because its so close to home. My husband and I are out close to daily! The only thing that kinda sucks is the cone baskets. But we keep coming back regardless :)

Great disc golf course they just added two holes to make it 14 total! Limited tall grass to lose your discs. The course has woods with limited underbrush and fun hills to drive from.

Nice playground and picnic areas. The frisbee golf course is nice, but the conical style basket can be a bit tricky. The park is tucked into a neighborhood which makes it harder to find and enter into the part of the park you want to use.

A blast from the past! First, as a course its in beautiful condition, concrete pads, longs and short, marked with number and distances on the benches or slabs by the tee. A varied mix of woods, tall grasses and elevations. As a piece of history and area pride, it speaks volumes about an area full of courses. The long tee boxes have long, lacquered benches showing numbers and distances, with brooms hanging below for tee clearing. Spool tables and umbrellas are placed on some tees as well. Then there are the cones! If youve never played one, these baskets consist of a metal cone that looks like a giant, spinning top from the 1950s and a catch basket below. Your disc hits it with a loud clang and the angle of the cone deflects it down into the basket! Its a challenge because the area where the angle is correct is small, and anything beyond a center toss will deflect your disc away! I felt honored to play this wonderful course!

This is a nice course. Many of the baskets are the type with large plastic cones instead of chains which isnt ideal. However, this course has many fun features with a lot of variety. There are about 12 holes, not a full 18, with about 4 long holes. Although the course is not easy it is a good course for casual players.

This place is awesome. Get used to putting in these space ship bucket things and youll be a god when it comes to other courses and their baskets. There really is no chance to lose a disc here and you get a few shots to really throw one hard. It is my go to course.

Review №55

A good beginner course with really weird solid baskets. Everything is about 200-300 feet through open feild, so its a little boring if you have lots of disc golf experience and youre looking to be challenged. But, on the up side, youll never lose a disk. Its well taken care of and really only the last hole has any tall grass. The course isnt well marked and has a few pins shy of 18 holes, so the order is confusing when you play it for the first time. As a result youll have people playing out of order, and holes 2 and ...14(?) Become 2/7/13 and 14/2
