Price was right, tubes are nice and big, and their team was friendly and diligent. Great way to get outside and do something fun while keeping your social distance. (Probably dont need a cooler because it only takes 1.5 to 2 hours and there is no place to stop and eat anyway. Just enjoy floating.)

I enjoyed the customer service that I received here. The driver of our shuttle was very knowledgeable of the river tour and thoroughly explained our drop off and pick up points. This was very relaxing and fun. My first time, but I will be back again!! WE LOST OUR LOCKER KEYS They were very understanding and easy-going... We Absolutely Loved It!!

We received excellent customer service from the time we walked in the door. We forgot our waterproof cell phone holder. They sold those for a reasonable rate and sunglasses. We forgot something and our driver turned around without compliant. Not to mention we had a blast!!!

Friendly staff they explain everything to you so you are not left in the blind about anyting I also lost my key to the locker while I was in the water they were very understandable got me right in my locker immediately I will definitely come back again

It’s an awesome spot in a great location to beat any traffic jams! The owners are super friendly and the prices are very reasonable. They have everything you would need there and if you’re low on beverages, there is a gas station right next door. 10/10 would float again!

Professional friendly service! Cant say enough great things about this company. Was my first time using them and I will definitely be back. And the shuttle service was amazing to and from the river. We did the river trip twice on the 4th of July and both times the shuttle service was prompt. Literally didnt have to wait at all. Got out of the river, walked across the street and there was the shuttle. Boom! Cant wait to go back. And one last thing. I loved the fact that I didnt have to drive around looking for somewhere to park.

Although NBT is not near the Comal river like the other well-known shops, they take you to the entrance and pick you upon your return.  People at the front desk are friendly, and the bathroom is clean. If you want, leave your stuff in a lockable locker in front of the reception desk. I liked their tubes because they come with handles and cup holders. We were lucky to be able to park next to the shop for free, but they will tell you where you can park for free.

Bought a special I saw online, either a Groupon or something similar. Easy drive to the location and yes, parking is very limited so get there early. Check in process was very fast and everything was explained well. They took us to the river which was AMAZING!! They picked us up at the designated spot and everything went extremely smooth. Will be returning this summer again with the whole family! Thanks guys!

Went past Saturday. Got there at 10:30 am and no lines. The two ladies at the counter was super nice and patient. The guys handling the tubes were equally attentive and friendly/helpful even while working in the 95F weather. Entire trip exceeded expectation with quality tubes, great rates on Groupon too. Can’t recommend enough to try NB Toobs.

It was a good ride but sucked that they didnt advice us about cooler floats they have for rent are all damaged so when we used it, we lost everything in the beginning of river. Asked other tubers that had same cooler if they all did that and they said no that all their drinks were secured ... i brought it to their attention in office and they said that they are all damaged and it is how it is but yet they couldnt warn us before we paid for itj. If i knew they were damaged i would have never rented one!! Worst Customer Service ever!!!

Rented a cooler float for $15. Lid was all torn and bottom had a hole which was letting water in. Lost my drinks in river in beginning of river. Let them know their float was damaged and they did not care at all and blamed that other tubers did it and all of them are damaged. Why rent out damaged floats, why not warn customers they are damaged before they rent so customers can have a 2nd thought about renting it. Waste of money so $15 coller float rental plus $30 worth of drinks = $45 down the fukkin drain!! Never again!!

Staff was friendly and timely at pickup. It was our familys first time floating the Comal and this place made it a great experience. Provided tubes with bottoms for my 3 children under 10 at no additional cost. If we visit New Braunfels again we will be repeat customers.

Customer service was great! Everyone was really friendly. I’ve tried a few companies over the years and this has been my fave so far. Only waited about 10 mins in line for paperwork, 10 mins for a shuttle, and didn’t have to wait at all for the shuttle to come back! Parking was pretty convenient too, and it was super close to I-35. Will definitely be back!

They advertise free parking but only have like 10 spots. Check in process was very slow. They were also unhelpful getting back on the bus. Also they take your ID and car keys but dont confirm you brought anything back. They will also let anyone grab your keys and Id they dont verify the person picking up your items.

Great tubing but...the service was excellent at this company. No complaints with them. Our issue was the atmosphere on the river isnt family friendly at all!! Lots of drinking all around you and music being blarred out with 4 letter words every other word. I felt like I was trapped in hell on earth. We have a 9 yr old son that had to hear all that junk. And even the people around us( because there are hundreds of people on the river) used horrible language like it was nothing. It broke our hearts that this was the atmosphere. Could be a really good time but we wont be coming back.

Only go to this place if you but the Groupon. Its not nearly as nice or organized as Rockin R. I would appreciate having a shower to rinse off in after the return trip. Parking is very limited, fewer than 8 spots.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Longest wait ever... yeah its a weekend but I will stick with my usual.. lands falls. I went to landa falls on a holiday and got in faster than I did today. I had prove of Groupon and they wouldnt expect it.

First off there is virtually no pasking- where to park without getting towed??? We waited over 45 minutes on a Friday at 11AM just to try to get to the counter so we could check out & use the Groupon I pre-purchased. What a joke. Never even made it to check out and get our tubes My party ended up leaving & heading over to the San Marcos River / Lions Club and that was great. Wont be back. EVER

Great service. Everyone I encountered that day was so nice & helpful! Went on a day NB Toobs offered $10 for a tube + round trip shuttle. Definitely worth it. Check their website or FB often...this offer was definitely cheaper than their Groupon offer. Come early if you can...started floating at noon & returned at 3 pm & people were still pouring in to float. Will return as I had a phenomenal experience.BEWARE: 4 chutes total along the floating route. The first one is the best & most powerful. Therefore, I wouldnt recommend start drinking until AFTER you pass this point. Hang on & make sure you are secured & balanced in your tube as flipping over is imminent if you arent. Plus, theres no control so its possible people will start to come flying down the chute, one after the other, & the water gets pretty rocky on top of the natural current causing a potential flipping. And please dont go belly down!! Sit normal on your bum/back! The last 3 chutes are pretty mild. FYI: Lifeguards are posted at the end of the 1st chute only. Wear a life jacket if you are a weak swimmer & regardless of your childs age...LIFE JACKET. The depth is generally 3-4 feet but many parts are deeper and no telling how deep. STRONGLY AGAINST TODDLERS ON THIS RIVER...My personal opinion is 10 & up who are strong swimmers & arent afraid.Lastly, bring/wear/dont forget the following:1. Water + Cooler (or rent one)2. Sunblock...SUN IS BRUTAL3. Sunglasses &/or hat + a way to secure it to you4. Water shoes...Sandals get lost!! I witnessed expensive Birks getting lost5. Swimsuit only. No cover ups...they just get in the way, weigh you down, & make it harder to swim/maneuver6. Waterproof bag for cell phone (if taking one)7. Grab a red mesh bag from the bus before you completely exit for trash or to secure other belongings8. Grab plenty of the white pre-cut string from the bus before you completely exit to attach your cooler float to yoursHave fun floating the Comal :)

Avoid this place if you can. I bought a Groupon and they did not accept it. Shady operation.
