Had the Dirty Burger. On point! Everything was perfect. The bun really made everything come together. My son said the $5.00 milkshake was the best he has ever had.Beautiful interior. Will come back soon with the whole family.

The best, most flavorful burger in town so far. It was juicy and large. The bun was exquisite. The fries had a unique seasoning that had sugar in it. The waiter was very pleasant and quick. This place is a must see. Part bar part restaurant.

It was really pleasant to have the Social open again, despite not having bowling lanes open. The live music was an upbeat experience to have as well. It was good to socialize and see old friends as well as make new acquaintances! And we cant forget the staff they hustled and bustle to meet everyones needs! Thank you!

My husband and I go here often, The HH is really good. The environment is clean and fun and family friendly too, the waitstaff is always attentive. There food is good but we miss the Buffalo Balls and the Charcuterie boards. =( Always a good time had here,

Always a pleasure be it for family fun or just an adult night out. Live bands are always good, crowds off all types, food is excellent, and service is fantastic. Smoking areas available. It is also attached to Pour House (think I spelled it wrong), which is an outdoor hang out with a live band, two bars, life size games, firepits, dogs welcome, fun place to relax with friends and enjoy the environment or party with friends, singing with the cover bands and dancing the night away!

Awesome place to get a burger and beer! Service was amazing and the waitress frequently checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Prices are reasonable as well for the quality of food you receive!

Fun place. Nice people. I would be a regular there if I lived in New Braunfels. I wouldnt drive all the way from Austin, unless there was a fun performer to see.

Decent food but kinda over priced, especially if you bowl and eat. Just a heads up, be ready to get your food out of that bowling ball return shoot thing (Im sure it has some cool bowling tech name like a transinclinator) because your food comes out at twice the speed of the bowling ball. Has something to do with the weight and air resistance of the plate. It is all a bit technical.

My go to spot for a watering hole in New Braunfels! Love the drinks and food that is offered here! Bowling is a plus especially for the location. Great spot for families and parties!

Terrible food! My Cobb salad was bland and lacked adequate toppings. They totally forgot the dressing. Drinks and the DJ were pretty good though.

A bit pricey and the food was ok. We went with a group. My food was fine but a couple others had to send back theirs. I ordered fries with my burger but never got them. The service was great and I personally left a 10.00 tip, but then a girl in my group pointed out that the tip was included in the bill!! I wont be going back.

What a great place nestled in this tiny town. The food was really good and the drinks were great. Alot of activities to do like bowling and some video games.

Took extended family of 12 here. Rented two bowling lanes. The pizza’s were delicious. They have that real fire oven flavor, great fresh ingredients and super flavorful sauce.The cocktails were well priced and very good. The staff was super attentive and helpful with ordering and the lanes.Definitely coming back to this playground. Love it.

We enjoyed spending St. Patricks day here. No shot specials though. $5 green beer seemed a bit pricey. But it was fun enough.

Nice place for dinner and drinks. Has three separate areas for dinner, lounge, and games. Food is pretty good too. Had the guac burger and it was really good. Draft Bier selection was a long list. Wish they had Guadalupe brewing Co though. Lots of parking around area. Next door to Pour Haus which is also awesome for live music after dinner.

Definitely a great date night place. They have bowling and ither games but its pretty pricey so not sure if we would take our kids since we are a family of 7 and that can add up. But drinks are amazing especially the Smores Martini and the food is good.

This is a great bar restaurant with lots to do. The food is delicious and will fulfill all your desires for greased good and delicious burgers. The waitress, Samantha, was managing a party of 20 and I couldnt say enough good things about her hard work and ability to accommodate so many people. And the games were great to keep the kids entertained while the adults caught up. And some adults still had fun with the games. All in all, great place.

Place is huge. Outstanding for going to watch sporting events or just to get out of the rain. Food is good and the drink selection has everything. Great for the adults and parties and lots of games and things to keep you occupied.

My family have frequented Downtown Social for years and I literally cannot think of a time we’ve gotten together here and had a bad time.First of all, the layout of the building is great. It’s very open and inviting and the atmosphere is hip and modern.Secondly, the food is delicious. Ample options and great service from the staff.Finally, there is so much to do here! There is karaoke, ping pong, pool, bowling, a bar, an outdoor patio... so much to do with your family and friends!Love Downtown Social!

First time experiencing this place was at our Staff Christmas Party. We enjoyed the fun atmosphere, bowling, and nice selections provided for our group catering.

We took a large group here on a Thursday evening. Service, food and drinks were all great. Everyone had a good time and the staff treated us like we owned the place.

The atmosphere was great. The fried pickles were delicious. The city folks were very friendly!!!

We bowled, ate, and drank! Maybe danced a little too. So much fun! The food is great and Justin (our server) was aces. We really enjoyed the green chile burger and 50/50 dip. Bowling was $30/hour. Weve been before, and well go back again!

The bowling is weird with strings that didnt always place correctly. Seating was comfortable and better than most alleys. The margarita is $10 and is small. The pizza was partially burnt. Service was great though. Unlimited sodas for the kids. Overall, we felt it wasnt worth it.

Drinks are ok but very expensive for how weak they are. Inside bar staff are preferred- more attentative and polite. Outside barstaff cuts you off at 2 weak drinks unless and this is direct from one of them hes tipping $20 a drink so I dont care how much hes gets served hes getting whatever the wants.First time here and I will not be back...

Bowling was different, computer was acting up drinks are great! But the wait staff was awesome my waitress very cute and on top of her job.

Went to Downtown Social for dinner. Very attentive waiter; great service. Very delicious food. It has great decor, an open atmosphere and is located in a renovated historic building. A large bar and several different types of games available. Also, a huge TV to watch sporting events. Several different types of seating (couches, tables, booths, bar). Overall a great place!

Fun place to hang out with friends and play Trivia every Tuesday night! And bartender makes a really good Old Fashioned! Really enjoyed the sweet potato fries too!!

Old car dealership became an antique Mall and morphed into a hip and upcoming hangout. With food and beverages. Pinpong, bowling, pool, skeeball, a few joystick games and a bar makes this place cool. You can even chill with your friends by the fireplace or in the little patio. They even have clean bathrooms.

I will never in my life will come here again. We were celebrating a birthday and after exactly a few drinks we were cut off. The waitress blaming the manager the manager blaming the waitress very unprofessional. Since I live in New Braunfels people always ask me for recommendations on what bars to go to in New Braunfels and I would always say go to Downtown Social but never again. Now I understand why every time I would tell people about Downtown Social everyone would say This place sucks it seems that after youve had a few drinks 2 or 3 drinks they cut you off. If youre in New Braunfels Texas go somewhere else and dont waste your time stopping here. Thank you

Came here with my date on two separate occasions and found that the servers dont care about the customers nor will they even come to check up on you even when they get your food out. Ive seen employees roll their eyes at me when I asked for another beverage for myself and my date. Seriously?I wanted to give this place a try because Ive heard so many good things about it but having been here the only fun thing are the games provided and the other numerous customers.It really doesnt matter how much it costs for their drinks, games or the bowling but for me its mostly for service, if theres any word I can put for it, it would be: atrocious.Save your money and steer clear of this place, and stick to The Pour House and other numerous bars in the area.Atmosphere is nice and comfortable, restrooms are clean. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

We just had our company Christmas Party at Downtown Social! Laura organized everything impeccably! Oscar was our server and was absolutely the best example of customer service I have ever experienced!!!! Jonathon was our bowling assistant and was excellent! The establishment is fun, clean, efficient and the staff is so professional! We had pizzas, wings, and the boar meatballs. We rented the bowling alley.I cant say enough for how professional and well organized everything was from A-Z!!!! We already booked another party for later in December. I highly recommend Downtown Social.

Very cool place with a multitude of things to do, like bowling, ski ball, ping pong, video games, outdoor seating and a great, huge bar.We went on Sunday and there was 1 bartender. It took us 15 minutes to get a drink. They were understaffed, which made the experience less enjoyable. We will try again next time we are in town because it is a really neat place.

We had a great time while we were there for a party. There were about 30 people in our group. We had some of the cheeses & meats, meatballs, vegetables & hummus, & pizza. It was all very good. The servers were quick even though it was a busy night. Its a great place to have a party.

Ive been here a few times before and even had a Birthday party here in the past with decent service but this recent time just moments ago was the worst service and treatment Ive experienced at any place EVER.We had a group of about maybe 10-15 people for a birthday party. We had an area reserved and everything was going fine, we ordered tons of food, and were having a nice chill time.No one was being overly obnoxious, loud, or rowdy at all.Then out of no where we were told that we were being cut off on drinks. Everyone was in complete shock. We literally had only TWO drinks each. I drank more water than anything.The manager came and didnt even try to understand the situation and said it was up to the waitress which we found out was her first day. I dont know why theyd assign someone on their first day to such a large party in the first place but thats beyond me.We were then told we can go take our group to the Pour Haus. Like what manager tells someone thats spending a ton of money at their business to go somewhere else? Also the manager; when being asked for an explanation, started attempting to call a police officer over like we were being threatening or something.Complete BS and we will never be giving them our business again.

Ate here this past Saturday after the Hill Country comicon. Nice atmosphere but…our young waiter seem kinda new at his job. Not very friendly and cold he seem eager to clear our table even though we were not ready to leave. He picked up our plates and before we could say anything he picked up our teas. Two of us were not even done drinking. He then grabbed my wife’s margarita and she still hadn’t finished it. He did it very quickly and to make it worse he picked up the glasses by sticking his fingers into them while picking them up. Picked everything up but left the glasses with water. Wanted to complain but we figured we just leave it alone. Definitely not going back.

This place is huge! Its ab old building that had been repurposed beautifully! You can bowl, play arcade games, sit by the fire, watch a game at the bar, or have a baby shower! All this was going on while I was there and it wasnt even crowded. Also, good food and decent drinks!

We came here after an event we had in town. A lot of older people maybe late to early 30s were there at the time.Huge office holiday party going on in the other corner opposite of the bowling ally.Be sure to reserve your spot for bowling, theres no way youll just walk on to open lanes here.The waitress seemed a little preoccupied but I wouldnt say the service was bad.Fed 4 of us for $50. So very reasonable but also not the best food you can get in the area.If youre in a pitch and short on time but can still sit and get a quick bite to eat Id come here but you wont be blown away from the food, its average.I believe this venue is more for the gaming aspect and to drink from the bar.Nice late night spot to hang with friends. But if I had a choice this wouldnt be my top choice to come back too.

This place is really nice and the food is pretty good. Its a great place for the adults and kids to have a nice time. If youre a serious bowler dont bother but if youre just looking to have fun with friends and family its fantastic.

Cool place, good location, nice bar. Been there multiple times. Food and service is always an issue. I bet the bar is the money maker. This place could be something special if they were to get there kitchen in line.

Cool atmosphere and layout.We went to trivia night. It was pretty hopping for that reason. I dont mind all that much but the waiter told us we couldnt sit at the only table left in the trivia section because the owner was going to sit there. Which, I get it, Im not saying the owner cant sit at his own establishment. Even if you should probably make sure you arent taking seats that customers might want to use. I truly didnt mind sitting elsewhere, but that kind of business mentality and the fact that the bowling lanes and balls are poorly maintained says to me that the owners arent serious about making this place a staple.

Free games every Wednesday! The food is spectacular, and the service was friendly! You should certainly come by and check it out, you wont regret it.
