Absolutely love working here! Not only is this place where I discovered my love and passion for teaching but also is the best place I’ve ever worked! The management and staff are amazing and the children make it that much better! Highly recommend this place for employment and child care!!!

Our daughter has been apart of their after school program and summer programs. She loves this place and the teachers. Very reasonable and they care for all these kids. Would highly recommend.

This daycare, and after school center has been a great choice for us and our kids! It’s academic and sports program are great, and the staff is always friendly when we drop off, and pick them up. Highly recommend them!

My daughter has attended The Rec center. They provide a safe, loving environment. Swimming has been a wonderful asset to this program.

We were impressed with the security of the facility as well as the amenities. Besides the classrooms, The Rec Center will allow our children to attend New Braunfels Academy through elementary school. The pool is a plus as well! Looking forward to attending this fall.

They are a big family and always have fun educational things planned for the students

I had to give stars because the caregivers are awesome. The business is heartless and shameful. I was paying $165 a week for full time daycare service, due to wanting to spend more time with my daughter I quit my job and ask for a part-time daycare fee schedule. They gave me 8am to 12pm Monday to Friday at $125 a week with a $100 fee every term (every 3 weeks = term). Let’s do the math shall we. $100/3= $33.33.$125.00 a week + $33.33 = $158.33 per/week for Part-time service. Full-time Fees = $165.00 a week for 6:30 to 6:00pm. That means I save $6.67 a week, for them to taking care of my child for 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. With all the pain in my heart, I had to pull my daughter out of the program. Again the teachers are amazing. They treated my daughter with love. The daycare owners/management are gross.

Great to have a new place that offers swim lessons in town!

My 2 stars are only for a nice clean facility. I signed my daughter up for a program they said they were going to start and while I understand there are registration fees I was under the impression it would be starting in a fairly reasonable time frame. This being said it is now 5 months later and several phone calls with no information about how or when this program would come into effect. EXTREMELY upsettingly bad communication and representation behind doors and am very upset that they took a registration fee without even a blink of an eye and not having any intentions of advertising this program to get it started faster.

This daycare is understaffed and doesn’t provide substantial compensation for its employees. This Academy has hidden proper documentation for timesheets, PTO, and valuable tax information to its caregivers. Do not recommend this academy to anyone that treats their employees in such an illegal manner.

This daycare goes through many employees. They are very aware some of their daycare providers are aggressive with the children. They only provide dental Dixie cups for the childrens milk rations, once daily. They leave 1 person in charge of 11 toddlers, they provide no aid. They leave classrooms over ratio all the time.As for treatment of their employees, they have them sign a time card, not providing a weekly pay stub to verify hours and deductions. This is a very poorly ran daycare. Make sure to speak to parents who have left. People dont leave good daycares!!

I love this place and the service

Brings me great pain to leave a bad review. Pretty sure we were kicked out for leaving a bad review because they stopped providing homework help for our children. Its too bad a business can not take a poor review without lashing back at you. Pretty sure they will come up with some sort of poor taste response back to me, saying that I am lying when they are making up things about me. Please go online with the Texas Department of Children and families, they have plenty of violations. They have even let people supervise our children without a proper background check. Facts speak for themselves.

New Braunfels Academy has been great keeping our children safe through this difficult health crisis. Thanks to the teachers for all they have done through this trying time!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE! Management is very unprofessional and teachers are careless, always on their phones and gossip about the parents! They do not follow the schedule! Especially in the Two year old room! Don’t waist your TIME or MONEY!!

Professional, involved, dedicated, and most importantly safe. Talk to Chelsea, she is very friendly and informative! They always go the extra mile to ensure your child is happy and engaged in their home away from home.

I love these people! They have been very patient and caring with my 4 yr old grandson. I am grateful that New Braunfels has this place. I would refer them to any body in an instant..
