The drinks were excellent and the bar staff were very responsive. Shout out to Corine for the Lemon Drop Martinis my wife loved. We will be back again.

A nice place to hear good, and sometimes original country music. But if you cant two-step, watch out. The crowd has no dance etiquette and will run over you. Large crowds, small floor. But the entertainment and facility is first class. Large bar, but didnt use it.

The ladies at the front door were very friendly. The bartenders as well were super friendly. Restroom was in pretty good shape for a super busy night! Prices were pretty good but we just drank beer, even though they had some good specials. Smoking is allowed outside on the patio with your drink. We love going here!

The Keen Country Band was playing the night we were there and they were awesome. We had to go to the bar to get our own drinks.

Took a date one girl behind the bar who needs to look around corners ( Or at least verify they left) before she make condescending remarks about overheard conversations. Was also ignored due to undisclosed favouritism so twice i waited 20 minutes plus for two drinks. When the place wasnt really even that busy. I dont do bar reviews because i know what service industry folk go through. But in this case the staff clearly didnt either care or make preparation for a wed. Happy Hour not too mention made me look bad in front of my date!

Great band was playing (Monte Good) had a fiddle and a steel guitar. Lots of dancing! Excellent.

Hubby and I love going here! Its a mixed crowd, and all of the staff are always so friendly! We were there to see LC Rocks, and it was awesome! We usually go on Saturday nights, just as a cheap escape from the hum-drum life of work and teenagers :)

Quick service with friendly efficiecy. A solid neighborhood bar since I came of drinking age in the late 1980s. It would be beautiful if they had a few local/regional drafts, bit still a solid bar with good prices.

Great venue just not for a younger crowd on a Friday night. Maybe great just for 50+ up crowd.

My Girlfriend and I visited here on a Saturday night out, the music was good but not to my taste. 80s rock cover songs and hard rock do not fit the music I expected to hear at what is claimed to be a Texas Dancehall. That is just my taste and I know my musical taste is pretty limited. The crowd seemed to be mostly local and not very friendly. The staff was friendly but they seemed to be short handed and a little on the slow side. We will try it again and give it another shot but it will have to be a night when we dont have anything else going on.

Cute hole in the wall. Way bigger on the inside than you realize. Dancing on the weekend nights are a blast. Abd live music!

I feel bad for the people who live close to this establishment. The noise at night from the music and people outside probably makes it difficult to get a good nights sleep. The residences were there first and have to deal with a bad neighbor.Im sure the bait shop that the original owner tended (not just a bar with bands) was much quieter. The original owner had a few tables to allow locals to play dominos and have actual conversations. I know because I lived nearby. I also knew the owner (she lived up on Perryman) and she was much more considerate of the noise levels for the surrounding families. Say what you like, some of us lived through the changes.

Good music, my wife and I go to dance every now and then, but today we had a bad experience; we got in the dance floor and when we came back to our seats that was another couple sitting in our spots and our beers almost full where not there, they said there was no beers there but they didn t even bother to give us our seats. Another thing, there is a sign that says No drinks on dance floor, ok, I will say at least 15 drunk girls showed up, I guess comming from the wurstfest, they were spilling there drinks on the dance floor and bumping on other elderly couples that were dancing. And seemed like staff didnt care at all. Us, we just took off.

Texas honky tonk with various music venues. Pool tables are old, building pretty run down... But the band they had last weekend was good.

Its usually really good, but the last time I was in there, one of the bar tenders would take his time waiting on people. After 10mins or more I went to the other bartender and she never got my drink either. Another person waiting in line said, youve been waiting in line a while, let me get you a drink. Then we both proceeded to wait a lot longer.

We are a bit older. Weve been to the Watering Hole for the last year and we have enjoyed it every time. Truly enjoy the service we have received at the back bar. Also every band we have heard there has been great.

My daughter was supposed to get married outside in a gazebo and meet with friends after at The Watering Hole. As her day arrived it was pouring down rain. When she went to The Watering Hole to decorate the area she was going to be in she was speaking with the manager. They very graciously offered for her to have the wedding there and saved the day! Thanks again!

This is a very quaint and fun place to spend an evening. Saturdays is live bands and there is a big enough dance floor so you dont feel crowded. I love that there is seating around the dance floor, b/c I (myself) am a big people watcher. I especially love to watch the older couples holding hands and dancing.The bartenders are very nice and you dont have to wait long to the acknowledged and served; Prices arent bad, either. Its a great place to get away from the big hussle and bussle of the larger clubs and still have a great time dancing, playing pool/darts, or sitting at one of the gaming machines.Oh...and lets not forget...ITS A NON-SMOKING ESTABLISHMENT!!!!

Doesnt look like much from the outside but if you get inside the whole places seems to open up! The staff is extremely helpful and they have many different options for entertainment.

I was going to Conways when it first opened. They decided to change and not play a lot of old and new country. Stopped by watering hole one night and they had a great dancing band. Ill be coming here for now on.

This place is awesome. Stage for live music, pool, darts, shuffleboard, Foosball, Dome Hockey, Good Beer Selection But No Taps. Service is always friendly and helpful.
