GREAT COURSE AND WELL MAINTAINED. DESERVES 5 STAR BUT NO CART GIRL THAT DAY AND DIDNT FIND OUT TILL 4TH HOLE. SO HAD TO WAIT FOR TURN TO PURCHASE SNACKS & DRINKS.... WILL DEFINITELY PLAY THEIR AGAIN..

I havent played this course for 10 years and it was a great change of scenery from the usual Austin courses that I play. I loved being challenged by the layout and greens that demand precision. And every staff member that we encountered was super friendly and helpful. Im not waiting 10 years and will be back to play again soon!

Very disappointed that their college rate only applies up to the age of 23. Was very excited to golf at bandit but now since turning 23 I can no longer afford the large rates to play. Gonna miss this course, I hope they raise the junior/college rate to an older age seems like they would just let us go for the price as their tee times were wide open.

My first Bandit experience was top notch. From the level of attention in the pro shop, to the affable starter, the excellent service my group received from food & beverage, through the course itself. I have rarely played a more challenging design open to the public; the price point certainly belies it’s quality. The course was in impeccable shape in May, and we all left thoroughly impressed. I will be back, as I felt I left some strokes out there on those slick greens.

Great course and really fun to play. Unfortunately there are some management issues with uncourteous local members who can negatively impact the experience for other golfers on course.

Always a great time at any Foresight Property. By Bandit standards it was a very fast round too. Staff is awesome, greens were 8 outta 10 and my playing partner was a 9 outta 10.

Greens were super fast and in good shape, staff very friendly. Fairways werent as good as I had hoped and some sparse areas. If it is your first time playing the course it isnt alway apparent how to play a hole. My group hit to the wrong green on par 5 6th hole.

I have played golf in the San Antonio and surrounding area for 40 years. The Bandit is my favorite course. Super great layout and friendly folks.

Fantastic course! Greens roll true, bunkers in great shape, no dead patches. Was fairly wide open and easy to keep the ball in play which made for an enjoyable round. Would absolutely return. Only gripe is that theres no way to get to the second fairway on 18 without driving all the way around the clubhouse.

Went for a family day of golfing and just loved every bit of it! The course is challenging and well maintained. All of the employees were very professional and nice. We will be planning another outing soon!

Played the Bandit today and shot the best round of my life, 88. Not cause it was easy, I just had a great day. Course was amazing. The views and elevations were outstanding. The staff top notch, they had a cart at the Jeep before we even got out. Will be back!

Ive been playing The Bandit weekly since Ive moved back to Texas 2 years ago. It is my home course and has delivered an outstanding golf experience everytime. Conditions tee to green, staff, and the challenge are all worthy of 5 stars.

Played the course today for the first time and was blown away! For the twilight rate right now it is easily a steal. Could easily charge double. Course was in amazing condition and all employees were amazing. Very challenging course and loved it! Will definitely be back!

One of the best rounds of golf Ive played in a long time. This course is rated high for a reason. The customer service was fantastic. The course was in pristine shape. If you get a chance to play here dont pass it up!

Course is well maintained and greens play fair ️. Many holes require you hit a specific area to score well. Good rule of thumb is to aim for the 150-yard markers.Course is located in neighborhood so, if you get in front of a “member” who will probably force you to play faster than you want. Don’t stress over it. No foursome should play in 3 hours. The course even offers cold, scented towels for hot days. Be aware there is a shooting range nearby, so if you may hear gunshots in your backswing on the front 9.

Course and the greens were in great shape. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to playing here again when I pass through the area.Course review: the course is very fair with great rewards for a good tee shot and the appropriate penalty for getting in the rough. Some of the par fours are looonnggg from the back tees but the par 5 are short if you make the down slope. Pay attention to the score card since a couple of holes are best played with a 200 yd shot off the tee. Also there are a couple of false fronts on the greens so do a little scouting. Hope to put this knowledge to use on my next round.

This a really neat course by an excellent designer, Keith Foster (who BTW had a fascinating and strange run-in with the law, look it up). The only reason I gave it 4 rather than 5 starts was the condition. Understandably, it is a great example of a course built to sell real estate that doesnt get enough play on it to generate the cash flow needed to keep it pristine. Im sure it would be very expensive to keep it in top shape since it has so many bunkers and undulations. That said, the greens were OK and the play areas were decent. The roughs, tees, bunkers and surrounds were pretty ragged. Still, its a fun course and a solid value if you are in the New Braunfels area.

I have played every course in central Texas, and the Bandit is my new favorite. I wish I would have played here much sooner if I knew about this hidden gem! The course was in immaculate shape, and the greens were rolling true. The course is difficult, but rewards accurate tee shots. I will definitely be coming back here, and it’s for sure worth the ~1 hour drive from Austin. Good burgers at the grill, and everyone that works there is friendly, polite and helpful.

I have played the Bandit since it first opened and it has never looked better.

I was there to practice at driving range and putting green. Check-in is quick, prices reasonable. Would be better if the grass in putting green was redone to remove all the holes.

The staff was amazing and the course was excellently maintained. Made a tee time showed up to play, showed up, the week was wrong. Might have been an issue with two tournaments, but wasnt due to the amazing crew and members! I rarely give reviews based on customer service as that is non-existent these days, but the service and the course were amazing

I love, love, LOVE The Bandit. The course is beautiful and challenging. I struggle with it, but I have fun just the same. The view, especially the houses, very stimulating just like watching Caddyshack or Happy Gilmore. I like the people who work here, too. Theyre nice.

Excellent golf course. Conditions are always top notch and the layout is challenging and exciting. Just as good as the premier courses of San Antonio and Austin but a better value. Especially at their twilight rates, you wont find a better bang for your buck in Texas.

The course is very pretty and quite difficult, especially at this time of year when it is quite dry and balls seem to roll an extra 30 yards, right into the numerous creeks and ravines. For the last ten years we have spent March in New Braunfels. The greens at The Bandit are far and away the best I have ever seen at the beginning of March. (2018)

Great job by all....staff and volunteers were wonderful today for the Schertz, Cibolo, Selma Chamber Tourney. The course is in great shape, congrats to the Superintendent and his staff. The F&B bunch were on top of everything...

Tough but fun!

I like the track, we played Sat morning, so it was slow. Very wet due to all the rain we have had this fall, but the greens and tee boxes were in good shape.

Very nice condition, greens smooth but slow and that is the only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star rating.

Course was in great shape considering 100 degree weather. Staff from top to bottom were AWESOME .Highly recommended !!!

Course is nice, greens are fast. Range gets a little beat up, Ive been responsible for some of it working on my swing. I also take lessons there and JC is great, Ive learned a lot and have seen real results.

Loved this golf course, and it was challenging, and in good condition, the only reason why I didnt give it 5 stars is because they made me look at a bunch of HOUSES that I couldnt afford. Lol! Its surrounded by BEAUTIFUL HOMES that take your attention off your shots. Lol!

Sand traps could have been better. Some were wet some where packed hardpan and none of them were raked.
