Percy Warner park never disappoints. With over 20 miles of roads and trails you have enough for the whole family. You can walk, drive, use golf carts or wheel chairs on some trails. You can also go horse back riding on dedicated paths. The area is breathtakingly beautiful in any season. Great place to relax and recharge or escape the craziness of morden hectic life. Also great opportunity to get in shape if you choose to go up hill :)
Percy Warner Park is a great place to run, horseback ride or walk. Lots of trails. And there is a fabulous marathon in November!
I guess its one of the best parks in Nashville area where you get ample space for walking, golf, hosting outdoor get-together etc.
Very beautiful especially when driving thru it. There is also a very small picnic like station with a fireplace very cute perfect for a date;)
Rarely do I get lost hiking. Its all an adventure! Love the minimal signage and human intervention deep in the trails. Simple color coded path ways and signs. Getting lost is a good thing in context.
Great variety of hiking trails with beautiful views the whole way. Hiking up to Luke Lea Heights over look is a must. Great view of the Nashville skyline.
I love the Warner woods trail. Great climbs in some sections. Get there early to beat the crowds!
Just do it. Great hike or trail run or walk or whatever you prefer. Beautiful.
Beautiful fall day sunny temperature in the 70s. Leaves turning colors, gorgeous!
Big tacos!! Chicken was really good. Also, definitely get the Korean BBQ. They hook it up on the fresh jalepenos too!! Which is rare..
Beautiful area. It would be nice if there was a restroom. We loved the trails
I love to drive the scenic route through the park in Autumn, spectacular colors for countless photo opps!
Favorite hike in Nashville with many easy paved trails. It stays quite busy, so make sure if youre hiking with a dog that you are ready to encounter a variety of furry friends as well.
Great place to hike and enjoy a peaceful walk! Trails are moderate in difficulty, but can find easy trail if desired.
This a great park. The only imrovement they can make is if they find a way to move the whole affair indoors
This is the best place in Nashville for hiking, biking and inexpensive golf. The Warner Brothers donated the land to the city of Nashville. I wish that more rich people shared their vision.
Easy parking, clean and safe trails. Mostly shaded areas and a nice variation in trail paths.
The most beautiful gardens ived ever seen. Put on your kiks cause theres a lot of walking
It was a beautiful lots of trails quiet peaceful
Nice place to have a picnic! Enjoyed it very much and am planning on another trip soon!
A beautiful park with several different trails. Its a challenge but a great one
YES I LOVE THIS PARK, I ENJOY A NICE PARK WITH A BOOK AND A LIGHT BREEZE AND I GOT THAT WHILE AT THIS PARK..
Home away from home, beautiful retreat, challenging running paths, places for puppies to explore
Great place to go walking and jogging very clean very quiet
Excellent trail for beginners and intermediate mountain biking. It is well coordinated the trail so you wont get lost.
This is an amazing park not far from the heart of downtown Nashville. The full moon pickin party is one of my most favorite things about Nashville. It runs the May-Oct and is only $20. The music you can hear here is like nothing else you can experience. Support the local park and the full moon pickin party!
Absolutely loved this place. It was a great break from visiting all the tourist stops in Nashville. The overlook was well worth the 6 mile hike and we even got to see an owl that was two feet from the road.
Some cool trails, but also some steep hills. For my first time it was cool. Just make sure you stick to the trail. We didnt and ended up at the opposite side of the park. After 3 trails and an 8+ mile hike, I took a Lyft back to the other side. No shame here, was not going back into the jungle lol.
Trails are a great getaway ! About an hour and a half of exercise . youll enjoy them
Lovely ! Just relaxing and beautiful.
Beautiful park! Easy to find and the hike to the top wasn’t too difficult!
By far my favorite place in Nashville. Not an exaggeration. The place is full of nature. It’s a foresty mountain kind of park. There are many trail for hiking, jogging and cycling. But also, you can drive through the slopes with your car, so it has a car trail as well. And the best part about driving is that every once in while you’ll hit a road division, and it depends on your choice to make this nature journey shorter or longer. Love this place. The pictures I’m uploading were taking in the fall, so the trees are kinda naked which doesn’t give this place justice.
Its a great place to hike.
Great trails and beauty around every bend
Great recreation spot for hiking with friends and family!
Beautiful and wonderfully maintened trail system! The 11.2 & 5.8 are great paved trails with little car traffic. Only downside is parking and the fact the trails are over-crowded at times.
Love going here to do both paved runs and trail runs... Absolutely beautiful park
Best place for a REAL trail-run in Nashville. If you want some more challenging terrain the Blue trail is my favorite. For longer runs and big hills check the red. And once construction is done go check out the white trail and the Belle Meade stairs.
Parking was awful, not marked. Patrons werent that nice to be 100 percent honest. The stairs were beautiful though, and the area was well maintained and very green. We visited in April.
Ran the red trail as well as others and it was beautiful and challenging.
Loved the trails on this patk
Was in town for business and decided to stay the weekend. It was a warm fall day so found this park not too far from downtown. It was easy to get to and lots of space for parking. The trails were very well marked, with detailed maps at the trail heads. There are paved pathways which look great for easy walking especially with strollers but I mostly stayed on the unpaved paths that wind through the hills. The paths were very well marked and less traveled so made for some nice quiet hiking.Wildlife is obviously accustomed to hikers as I spotted a few deer only a few feet from the path. They did not startle and were easy to approach and take photographs.Beautiful park, glad I took the time to visit it when I was there.
There are two frequently used trails at Percy Warner. The red trail (or Mossy Ridge Trail) is a 4.5 mile loop with elevation change of 900 feet. Runners and hikers share the trail. Dogs are supposed to be in a leash. There is some tricky terrain - hiking poles are helpful for people with knee issues. The white trail is 2.5 miles with elevation change of 450 feet. Similar terrain.
Love it had a furngol look to it .a nice good hike, love the cool are and sits.
Great spot to ride, walk, and / or run. Between the miles of paved roads and trails throughout the park, one could spend months trying to cover all the mileage.
The best place to go to get close to nature! It has so many options for walks from paved roads to trails. There are so many different level trails available, check out the maps to know where to best access each trail. Take water and enjoy!
Been running, hiking, and biking here for 23 years. Would not change a thing.
I watched my first showjumping competition here I hope to be competing here one day and there are great trails that you can hike here
Download a hiking app on your phone to help find the path you want. Well maintained paths.
Challenging trails with beautiful views. Def plan on staying a few hours.
Absolutely amazing. Perfect place to take the kids on a walk and offers some tougher trails for when they are feeling adventurous. Beautiful scenery and clean environment. My family and I moved here in July and this is our favorite park. Safe and fun for the kids and offers some more challenging trails for the parents when we dont have time for a full blown hike.
Good 2.5 mile trek. Not on pavement, up and down terrain; challenging!
What a special place we have here in Nashville. I grew up going to this park and have many great memories (except Steeplechase ‘86 but that’s a long story). Anyway, do yourself a favor and walk, run or hike a trail, have a picnic, play some ultimate frisbee or just drive one of the scenic drives. You won’t be disappointed.
We must have taken the wrong trails. Everyone else loves these trails, but we weren’t very excited about them. None of them are marked, so you just need to take a picture of the map at the beginning so you know where to turn. I’m sure if you were going here for pure exercise or if you live in the city, this would be better for you. We decided to do the trail to the scenic overlook but there was nothing there. Steps went up to a bench that overlooked...the other side of the path. Maybe there used to be a nice overlook but now the trees were all grown up. We did enjoy the butterflies here.
Had a great time. Will do it again next year. Highland games.
Plenty of room and trails. Dog friendly, but leash yours because a lot of the visitors dont.
It is a very nice pleasant part very quiet
If you enjoy the outdoors, youll love this place! There are horse trails, walking trails scenic drives as if youre deep in the countryside. They have covered open log cabins with fireplaces and picnic tables inside. Some of them are the originals from the 1930s. You will see wildlife such as deer, raccoons, squirrels, rabbits excetera. My family loves to go to the cabins and build a fire to roast Weenies and marshmallows and tell ghost stories. This is the perfect time for it!
We went on a rainy night (no refunds or voucher for another day) the pass were not marked well, lighten wasnt good.
Need to get the park police over on gaucho road on Sundays around 5pm. A lot of speeding going on. Too dangerous to walk the roads.
Fantastic park! Numerous walking trails, lots of shade or sun depending on what you prefer. There is a visitor center with bathrooms and water fountains. This park is very dog friendly. There are also pavilions you can rent for events and parties with grills.
A beautiful park with lots of great hiking and Green space. It can get busy at times, but so can the rest of Nashville.
I have been visiting from out of state. I am in the middle of marathon training so I have been touring the local running spots. These trails take the cake. Spacious, never ending, away from it all without being too far away. Well done, Tennesee!
A Nashville treasure! Beautiful, hilly terrain with hiking trails everywhere. Its huge too. You could explore for yeah and not discover it all.
Absolutely love this place
Best trail running in nashville
The view at the top of the stairs is breath taking. Perfect for a cool photo. I love coming here as the park is very open and clean kept. Great place to go.
Great for hiking and creek stomping with kids.
We run the dirt and road trails here. Excellent work out!
Gorgeous park, ideal wedding venue
Great for hiking, trail running and mountain biking.
One of Nashvilles prized possessions. A SECRET that many are not aware of. A BEAUTIFUL piece of paradise that can NEVER be destroyed by greedy people.
A great Nashville spot! Love the trails. It can be crowded in the summer - so get there early to avoid crowds.
Great hiking really close to Nashville.
Nice wooded park but the paved area was so steep biking was killer. Go left for a steep hill and right for a gradual hill on the main loop.
A beautiful place full of amazing trails ideal for a getaway!
Lots of great hiking trails. good place to bring kids/dogs. watch out for the trail runners though!
Beautiful park.
Percy Warner is a fantastic park for Walkers bikers runners anything in between just no motorbikes. It has virtually endless trails and paved paths for your adventurous self to explore. I would recommend this park to anyone trying to get away from their busy life.
I love going to this park! The mossy ridge trail is a great little hike to take when waiting out traffic. Bring a headlamp!
Its a Magical Place.
Ive been quite a few times and Im always amazed at how expansive it is; literally find a new trail each time I go. There is a kid area and an overall great place to shoot photos! Please go!
Percy Warner Park is perhaps the best park system in the Nashville area. Be warned however, if you have not been there before and need to go to a specific location, it is highly likely you will get lost trying to find it. Leave extra time to find the exact spot that youre trying to go to. Park has lots to offer from hiking with kids family and pets.
Beautiful place roads are small getting to places around the park so there time you are in the grass. But very nice especially during fall
There for a College XC race, Beautiful views and surroundings.
Great place for a jog or walk
Best park in a wide area for walking. Every level of walker has their trail to enjoy.
One of the best parks in the state. Too many people though. These parks need to figure out some way to mitigate people
Great park with hiking trails, biking trails, and horse trails. And lots of free parking. The wooded area is large and beautiful. Theres even several pavilions for family picnics! Best Park in Nashville!
