Cozy cathedral with nice architecture. Pretty wooden ceiling and beautiful stonework, but not gaudy. Nice organ too.Christmas service was great. Cheerful congregation and merry ministers.Surprisingly there is plenty of parking on site. Easy access from the highway.
The leadership provide a loving home. The architecture is beautiful and historical. The Church reflects a beautiful Spirit. The body serves the community in a grand variety of ways. The Rector Timothy Kimbrough is one of the most loving and talented men I know. I count it a blessing to there.
This is my spiritual home so I am naturally biased. If you love traditional Episcopal liturgy and being actively involved in mission, this is the place for you. Also, this is the most beautiful sacred space in all of Nashville @
This church was a very nice surprise. We just stopped by out of curiosity and got the full tour and history from a person working there - sorry forgot the name. We were baffled by his kindness and knowledge of the designs. Great experience!
Great Easter services. Standard Episcopal liturgical expression. Good brass choir played before the main service. Good choice of Easter hymns. Cathedral was full. Bishop preached. He was adequate but not exceptional. People and staff were friendly but major feast are not a good time to try and find if this is fit for a parish home. I would enjoy coming back.
Inclusive community, thoughtful people, and plenty of the Body of Christ to go around ️... The music is top notch and the outreach is global.
Was hosting a special event and they do cater you the events. It was great and people make you feel welcome.
The most beautiful church Ive ever been in. The spirit is alive in this place
The Priests are wonderful, the Building is beautiful inside and out. The organ and organists are extremely good as is the choir! Love this church!
Beautiful church, stained glass, amazing music and organ
Beautiful and inspiring Easter service with the reading of Gods Word, incredibly performed music, and the feeling of Gods presence envelopes all who come and worship here. It truly was an Easter blessing to feel so welcomed here.
The people are so kind and the building is full of wonderful history.
Great community, kind and welcoming people, lgbtq+ friendly, racially friendly, all around great place to be
The funeral service for our nephew Captain Travis Walker Brannon was comforting with the prayers, music, and homily.
Warm and inviting place to worship
Beautiful church, great choir and organ. However, the congregation was not friendly. In fact not a single person even spoke to us. The congregants seemed completely disengaged. It is worth an architectural tourism stop, but I would be unlikely to ever make this my church.
The worshippers were kind. The sermon was atypical because it incorporated the choir, as well as the worshippers in the pews, to sing along with the preacher. The preacher walked among the audience instead of speaking from the pulpit. The entire presentation of his thoughts was charismatic, positive, and educational.
Loved the concert!
Christmas Eve Service was uplifting and so beautiful. Thank you for all you do to bring people together. The church is so lovely. #christchurchcathedral #nashvillechurches #churchservices #Episcopalians
I sing in the Cathedral Choir
Worth a visit
Magnificent Episcopal Cathedral..we attended the 8 AM Sunday Service, and were VERY impressed!!
Always a superb experience.
Beautiful downtown sanctuary. Wonderful services with a significant number of programs to keep parishioners engaged.
A very captivating building, Gothic architecture with gargoyles an ancient Pagan symbols a place to wonder upon. Full of symbolism, all good, absolutely love this building.
Most beautiful church in Nashville. Great acoustics for a concert.
Went to a classical show here with some friends and had fun. Excellent acoustics.
