The Frances Bond Theatre is a great theater. They host the annual Mini Nutcracker by Nashvilles Metro Dance. I have had the opportunity to sit in sections from the front center to the very back row and every seat has a great view of the stage. I prefer to sit no closer than row J because of the location of the stage lights and speakers. The bathrooms are small and the lines can get really long. Also the sinks get really wet and are really high so kids need assistance. There is an accessibility issue as the closest bathrooms are located downstairs with no ramp. Parking is most easily accessible from Esteswood. The parking lot is set up in a way that really controls the flow of traffic (a one way loop) and has been freshly paved. Overall my experience with the Frances Bond Theater had been a positive one. Something of note, the Frances Bond Theatre is located within the Art Building and there is not a readily visible sign on the outside of the building to let you know where the Theater is located.
Nice theater, but ready for a major facelift.
