5 star for fun. My family and I have made many fun memories here. It is absolutely family friendly. The food is ok, but we dont come here for the food, we go for the show and experience. Everyone is always professional and pleasant. The shows are awesome.

I celebrated my birthday there, we had so much fun. The show was amazing. Everything about this place was great. The staff were very attentive and went out of their way make you feel welcome.

Good Show, marginal food. Square theater with a live band for Singing in the Rain. Sat right behind the band. Because the audience is all around they try to face everyone sometimes but favor the front meaning we saw their backs often. Just a warning. It didnt hurt the experience much. Good acting and singing. The food (buffet) was mediocre. They also have a menu option. I hope its better. I recommend tickets only and eat elsewhere before or after the show.

The show was fabulous. I would highly recommend it. The food is not great at all. Next time I will eat before we go.

Ive reached out to the venue with concerns about their definition of family friendly after my wife and I were surprised with a recent performance but never heard back. We will find a different venue for local live theater. Their performance of Elf last Christmas was amazing and set a high standard of quality. It was also very clean and kid appropriate.

My Wife and I and friends of ours went to Chaffins Barn Dinner Theater last night. We have been before on another occasion. Last night we were treated to the show Southern Fried Nuptials. I must say that this show and the actors far exceed our expectations. The show was very entertaining and the pace moved well enough to not ever get boring. This show is funny and thoughtful. We were impressed with how you actually get invested in the Characters. We really had a Great time. The only thing holding back a ☆☆☆☆☆ Review was the food was just Okay.To be fair we were not expecting the Buffet to be a five star cuisine. All being said we were very impressed with the whole evening. The staff were very friendly. Our waiter was on the mark and very Friendly. We are contemplating seasonal tickets.Yes we enjoyed it that much!!

First time at Chaffins and it was a really good time. I was actually very surprised at how well it sounded and they did a fantastic job performing the musical. The buffet food was really good and the service was good. The one complaint I have is the chairs, very uncomfortable and made my back hurt considering how long you are sitting. Would definitely go back!

It was my first dinner theater experience and I loved it! The food was delicious and lots of options, the performance was TOP NOTCH, and all of the staff and performers were wonderfully friendly and accommodating!! We will definitely be back for more performances.

We loved the show! Saw last night of Nuptials. Actor gave my son a prop at the end of the show! I would have given 5 stars but waitress was a bit frazzled during intermission. Otherwise fantastic event and will return.

What an amazing dinner theater!! They are currently renovating to make it even better. I can’t wait for opening night on August 2.

There are many places in Nashville to sit down and have dinner. There are also some to sit and enjoy a play. However, there are very few with great food and great shows all together in one fun filled night. The Barn has it all, great people, great service, great food, A group of performers that will give you a wonderful experience as they amaze you with their talent.

Show was fantastic very entertaining! The food served before show was mediocre. We arrive an hour and a half before the show was to began and had the Buffett, they ran out of food shortly after. Plus it did not taste very good at all.

We have always had a fabulously good time at Chaffins. The food is always well prepared, the buffet beautifully presented and plentiful. The wait staff are watchful and at hand when needed; they even play a role in celebrating guests special events. And then theres the floor show. Part of what makes it such fun is what a good time the players have in the performance each night. Three cheers for Chaffins.

Saw Singing In The Rain tonight. It was a great show. If your new to Nashville check out one of their shows. You want be disappointed.

Our group of Red Hat ladies had a wonderful time watching their production of Kiss Me Kate in a relaxed setting. The actors were great....providing us all with a fun and entertaining evening!! Well worth it!!

Loved seeing Elf the Musical. Great show and professionalism. Didnt love our seats on the third level because I had to turn my body entirely around to see the show and the chairs were not very comfortable. Tickets pretty steep at $35 for that level of seat with limited views. Well be back in the future and consider spending more for seats closer to the theater.

One finds the highest quality anywhere at Chaffin Barn... seriously talented people here. What they offer is in tremendous demand and the prices are very fair. I usually get great seating but this time w I was put in a corner with high traffic meaning I had to get up to let people pass, there were three couples at a 6 person table and no one knew each other, if I would have known the seating was going to be so bad I would not have gone this time. I will remember to be more educated on where I will sit in the future, and of course I will return. The entertainment was perfect.

Great food, excellent acting and music. The few times Ive been always include something trashy/risque in the performance. Its like a fly in otherwise awesome soup. Maybe they could choose different material? Im done.

This place is hilarious. I went my sophomore year of high school on a trip, and we visited again my senior year because of how funny it was. The food served is also really tasty.

We had a group of 12 that just went to see Sister Act. The performance was top notch as always. We laughed so hard our stomach hurt. Total enjoyment! The building looks good since it was just remodeled. We have been several times and they never disappoint.

Amazing way to spend an anniversary! Food was good but the show was awesome. They also have a military discount and really make vets feel appreciated.

Went to a benefit for Make a Wish. Murder Mystery. Kind of hokey, but with audience participation, you cant be too professional. Buffet was OK. Cookies were GREAT!

Chaffins Barn is wonderful! I was able to attend through a work event. My team and I had a fantastic time. We were able to see Mama Mia! It was delightful. They actors were phenomenal, and the singing was top notch.I was so impressed! Thank you all for having us and for the amazing performance!!

Chaffins is like seeing a big time production in a quaint little space. The food is really good, but the shows make it truly worth it!

My first time. I absolutely loved it.

On a whim, I decided to drive 3.5 hours to see a show here. It was at noon. Id never been here before. Id never even heard of this place before. I must say, the experience exceeded expectations. I was ready for the typical small local theater troupe experience and was a bit amazed by this place.First of all, it cant seat more than three hundred people or so. Youre sitting at tables (it is a dinner show, after all) in a square pattern around the stage area. I was seated right next to the floor and felt like I could reach out and touch the performers all through the show. This is really nice, because although everyone had a microphone with an amplified voice, you could also literally hear their voices directly coming from their mouths too.The performance was very well done. The costumes were beautiful. The band played well (they are on the floor next to one side of the stage). Everything was as good as it could have been.And then the show started. And a special feature of the facility was on display. I had no idea and didnt expect it. It was so well done that it kept a giddy smile on my face for the first half hour or so of the performance. I hate to spoil what this neat surprise was, so spoiler warning. Read on at your own risk.SpoilerOk. So the stage is hidden in the ceiling. You assume that the performers are going to come out onto the floor from behind the tables (and they do certainly come and go throughout the show from the four corners of the room). But this performance started with the ceiling dropping down to the floor and the actors already ready and waiting. It was such a wonderful surprise. Loved it!

Great place to go for an evening of fun. The buffet was plentiful. The staff very friendly and helpful. The show we saw was Sister Act. It was great. The three guys that were the cronies of the bad guy ABSOLUTELY WERE MY FAVORITES!I didnt give 5 stars because our large group was broken up into two tables and the chairs were a bit uncomfortable after sitting for such a long period. However, we will go back again to enjoy another show!!

Its been a long time since Ive been to Chaffins Barn Theater. But the last time I was there I loved it. The food was delicious and the show was hilarious. Would love to go back there again & maybe some day I will. Its just so far from where I live to get there.

Great dinner barn. My wife and I have been season members for over 12 years. Its a great date night with good food, great shows and a staff that treats us like family.

Went to see Annue .The food and wait staff were excellent. The production was good with the exception of the offensive curse words .Everytime i go the plays are great. But they always have language included that makes the experience less than perfect. If you are planning to carry smaller children you need to be aware that there will be several scenes with this type of language.

This place, although not new... has certainly improved. Since the new owners took over a few months ago this place has really made a come around. The plays are great quality and they really bring that stage to life. The food is AWESOME! That has been the biggest change I have noticed. I even love the small menu they have in case people want extra food once the buffet closes. Although the apple pie strudel thing fills me up every time, DELICIOUS!The price, experience and food are all 5 stars. Highly recommended. :)

Its all about the experience. The dinner/show genre is so fun on many levels. The buffet has something for everyone, vegan to carnivore. Its a 16th birthday tradition in our family. Do it. You wont regret it.

Chaffins is such a joyful experience. The servers have been there so long, I think they started as teenagers. The staff is extremely friendly and appear to love their job and their employers. We used to go to the evening plays but since my wife and I retired, we love the Thursday matinees. The owners are so thoughtful to make the plays a little less costly and more convent for retirees. Kudos to Chaffins and thank you for providing us with so many years of such enjoyable entertainment. The packages they offer are a great savings for those who prefer to attend more frequently than just the occasional show. Love it, love it, love it!

This place is fantastic. Weve seen two shows in the last 6 months and had dinner along with the show. The food is decent, though not spectacular, but the service is over the top. Theyre so accommodating and friendly and it makes the whole experience great. Theres not a bad seat in the house.

We had a great time at Chaffins Barn. We arrived about 6.00 pm for the meal before the show and the greeter was very warm & welcoming. He showed us to our table & the waitress was there to provide our drink service almost immediately. We opted to dine form the buffet and it was a good experience also. The salad bar had a great variety, with the usual but also a fruit medley. The main buffet was very good. There was chicken, fish, barbeque, with all the trimmings. There were ample choices such as macaroni & cheese, baked beans & potato salad.The play that we attended was Annie and it was a nice experience. The introduction was good with recognition for special occasions & American veterans. The cast was very proficient and enertaining. The story was well written & the production was exceptional. We had a good nite and I would recommend it as a good single nite venture. My only complaint was the use of 4 letter words throughout the evening. Why cant we have family entertainment without the crude & unbecoming language, anymore? If you can shut that out, you will enjoy your evening!

This place was amazing . From the greeting at the front door to the greeting at the same door as we were leaving. Food was great, servers were amazing and actors did amazing . My favorite part was the chocolate cake I had for desert. (Amazing rich chocolate). They do special announcements for birthdays and anniversarys. All around place is amazing. Next trip to Nashville I will definitely go back here.

Wonderful place for dinner and a show with free parking. Dinner is delicious with lots of choices. The service is friendly. The shows are always entertaining. I take all our out of town guests here. Its great for family birthdays and occasions. Its my top choice when I want a relaxing night out with my husband.

Went for Valentines. Was floored by the great talent and production quality. Buffet and service were OK. The show makes it worth the price. Bartender makes a good drink too.

I went for the first time tonight. I saw the Minnie Pearl musical and it was fantastic. Every actor and musician was phenomenally talented. I had a great time.
