Gulfshore Playhouse A 5 Star Performance- Its A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play!We recently attended the Naples Gulf Shore Playhouse, where we had the absolute best holiday experience of the season watching; Its A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play.We went there wondering how they could ever pull off a live play for one of the season’s epic feature movies. Having watched the movie days before as part of our annual holiday experience and tradition, we wanted to be ready for the real live experience.What a pleasant evening we had watching this live play. The way they handled the live radio broadcast as they told the story was just excellent. The cast was beyond exceptional having the characters down pat, including the voices, nuances including remarkable sounds they made using typical sound enhancing tools from radio broadcasting in those days, to give it a more real movie feeling and experience.Mr. Potter character was right on point especially his voice. Bravo! All the voices of the cast matched their movie personas and they were all very recognizable in all their inflections; most notably Clarence, George Bailey, Mary and the kids Harry and Uncle Billy persona’s.The Naples Gulfshore Playhouse did an excellent job of bringing the feelings of the holidays to everyone that attended this play. We went to see a performance of Native Gardens on a recent January evening. The evening proved to be very relaxed and enjoyable. The scenery was beyond good and the acting was superb. The story line was engaging considering todays social and political climate.

The production of It’s a Wonderful Life was absolutely amazing! The acting was superb! The original is my husband’s favorite Christmas movie, and we’ve watched it year after year. This production brought us both to tears! It was our first time attending a Gulfshore Playhouse production, but have just become subscribers!

As a Christmas treat, our family went to see Its a Wonderful Life. We had a great evening - a super performance and very friendly welcome.Wed highly recommend a trip!!

Great theatre close to 5th Avenue. Easy parking, access. Comfortable, cozy smaller venue.We saw In the next room, or the vibrator play. Excellent cast, excellent acting.I would return.

My husband and I just saw A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. The production was hilarious. First class. The theater was intimate. I estimate 200 seats so most every seat had a birdseye view of the stage.Acoustics were outstanding. Definitely worth the price of the ticket.

I love Gulfshore Playhouse because of the small intimate setting and professional performances.

Fabulous show, Holmes and Watson. Acting, staging, everything superb. We are so lucky to be able to see Broadway quality productions in Naples.

We have seen many plays here over the past few years and have consistently been impressed with the quality of the performances. The atmosphere is great, play selection always excellent, and the actors first-rate.

An Iliad was a wonderful theatrical experience. We loved the modern adapation. Jeffrey Binder was marvelous and of course Kristen Coury is one of Naples treasures.

Very professional for a community theater. Sit towards the center for best experience. Well be back for something we like.

A marvelous playhouse with seating that offers a close viewing point, and talented casts and productions. The Glass Menagerie was the best production of that play we have ever experienced. Highly reco moment we support this art jewel of Naples.
