Baker Museum contains an interesting eclectic selection of works of art over a couple of centuries. The theatre also has art by local current artists which worth exploring. Both have excellent gift shops with quality items, especially jewelry. Definitely above the norm.

LADIES DONT COME WITH A PURSE. We were really disappointed. Drove to Naples from Fort Lauderdale to see the art. Their paranoid security team said my wifes purse was to big. Really? Come on! We were turned away. No lockers, no warning, NOT COMING BACK. Get your act together and buy some lockers. Maybe the donors will address this issue.

Location found with ease. There is lots of free parking, but vallet was easy, quick efficient. The Hayes Hall, is a small venue for comedy, the sound could have been a bit louder. The temperature inside was perfect!Surprised the bar was so small bar. Line up almost deterred us from purchase, but was moving fast enough. After the show, it was very difficult to get out as the second showing of people were waiting at the exit doors to get in. Crowd control is required! We would go there again.

I visited Artis-Naples for the first time during Spring 2019 when Isabelle de Borchgraves Paper Dress exhibit was there and had a wonderful time. The exhibit (and museum in general) was larger than I expected, which was a welcomed surprise. Our entire visit was lovely and the museum galleries, cafe, and restrooms all impeccably maintained. I really enjoyed how the exterior sculptures helped patrons start their cultural experience from the moment they entered the parking lot, too. I truly look forward to returning for more exhibits and shows in the future.

Went for a ballet during the week. Free Parking wasn’t terrible (across the street, 3 minute walk), we noticed the valet was a bit backed-up after the performance, so we’re glad we didn’t opt for that. The seats were comfortable and the staff were nice enough. Disappointed that there were no snacks, (maybe this isn’t the case when it’s busier, unsure) but the manager did provide me with a free bottle of water. The art hanging around the hall was so lovely that we took our time looking around before the show.

Came here to see the play Hamilton. We were not able to venture through the museum before hand to see the actual exits which was a bit disappointing to us since we both love art. The play was good, my wife enjoyed it more than me. The venue had comfortable seating, there was no blockage to see the stage. Lighting was great, acoustics were at times a miss. It is not a large area so when some of the instrumentals would happen during dialog it could easily drown out the vocals. Overall it was a good place to see a show. Wish we could of seen the rest of the building.

Walked in and loved the inner decor, but thought the auditorium was small in comparison to other theaters of comparable prestige here in South West Florida. But with the room given they made great used during the play of the aisles, overlooks and the stage itself. Of course it was incredibly professional and the place seemed like a good place to go and experience some culture.

This place was neat! They had 2 of the 4 wings open for us to visit. Short, quick walk thru but the pieces were great. The inside staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. The ticket people, we asked for a discount since the Baker museum part was closed and they refused, but as we were going to pay, she asked us if we were BoA cardholders because we could get in free. I dont think if we didnt ask, she wouldve offered the discount..1 star less for the ticket situation and for the parking and finding the place. GPS doesnt bring you there all the way..and once you find it, parking is ok.

We went to the Baker art museum which is part of the Artis complex, which includes a performing arts center. The museum collection is modest, emphasizing modern and contemporary art. There are special exhibitions covering several of its floors. If you enjoy viewing art, it is a way to pleasantly pass a few hours. People who have experience and access to museums and private collections in major cities (e.g. the Frick in New York, and the Gardener in Boston) will not be impressed by this collection.

Unfortunately for all Canadians, Artis will not give credit towards next year calendar performances for any show that may be scheduled beyond April 11th. As of today, March 23rd., a Canadians must WAIT AND SEE, if the scheduled shows beyond April 11 will be closed down or take a tax credit for a show. As a Canadian your tax credit is not applicable for us, you should know this.So sad that during these unusual times, that Artis can not make exceptions to their rules and gave credit towards next season for us Canadians, who have been asked to return to Canada. We book approximately 10 shows per winter season. With the current policy in place, we are now very hesitant to book for next season.

My mom and I had the most wonderful time seeing La Bohème together here at Artis. I also saw Carmen in this venue, and hold tickets for Don Giovanni this April. The venue is absolutely stunning. I love the rotating museum exhibits to explore before the shows, and they served drinks and snacks both prior to the show and during intermissions. Artis has become one of my favorite places to visit in the area, and it makes my artsy heart so happy to be able to see a world-class philharmonic and opera company without straying far from home.

Artis Naples is a total gem but I have only one disappointment. A couple of years back they featured The Steve Miller Band and ZZ Top who by all accounts were extremely well received. No disrespect intended but this season we are back to Paul Anka, Kenny G and the Beach Boys. Im not saying heavy metal but as a baby boomer it would be nice to at least want to tap your feet during a performance.

Very disappointed. Staff were very surly on arrival when we enquired about visiting the art museum and merely told we must purchase tickets outside the entrance. They did not think to mention the actual art museum was closed but charged us $20 to walk around the concert hall into four galleries, two of which contained photographs of the building being constructed. Total waste of time and money.

We enjoyed the performance. Sadly the usher closed the door on us. We had tickets but those who didnt for this free event were talked to poorly. When she let us in she let my husband in. Who had our tickets but stopped me demanding my ticket. I explained my husband showed her our tickets and she refused my entry. When I attempted to enter she grabbed me by my arm and said she would call security. My husband came back and she suddenly remembered. After the show I talked to the head usher who said what is the problem you were late for a free show. The usher in question denied everything of course. Wonder how Art is would feel if we asked for a refund for our subscription and concert tickets for the new season.
