All around decent public course that I see myself playing in the future. I played 18 holes but only saw the beverage cart attendant once on the second hole. I asked maintenance to radio the clubhouse so I could order drinks but the cart never came. Greens fees were at a respectable rate for the decent conditions the course was in. The price of their range balls were way too high.
Outstanding course. Very well maintained and super friendly staff. A+++ in my book
A nice, well maintained, well run course. Not the longest, but challenging enough. The staff are very friendly. The price is fair.
Very nice course. Great staff
I made a tee time thru Golf Now and upon arrival was told I had to share my cart with someone. I asked if I could take my own cart and was denied so I left. Quail Village was kind enough to fit me in!! Arrowhead has no concern for customers by exposing players to health risks, & no mention on their website of this unsafe policy. Bad business practice arrowhead, no one wearing masks either. Youre not worth it!!
Played the course twice this week. Course in great shape and pace of play was good.
Nice course for value especially after 2:30. Weve played it a few times.Staff is good with one exception. The starter is a perpetual grump which makes the introduction to the round and first hole rough.
Great course but gets pricey during season. Round of golf and small bucket of range balls for one person was over 100 dollars.
This has always been my favorite course in Naples as it is real grass, interesting/challenging holes, wide open fairways and well-run..usually.But when we played it Tuesday, something happened on the back 9 that got as 22 minutes behind pace. We called the clubhouse on #13 and they said everyone is where they should be? however when we got on 16 we saw the group in front of us had a full hole in front of them And the same thing happened on 17 and 18. They should have sent a marshal out when we called to speed things up.
Great deal on golf now a $25 deal for a $50 course @ summer rates!!!
Played this course this afternoon with my son and we were totally disappointed, the positive and highly recommended reviews notwithstanding. We waited at each tee box on the front nine and in some cases waited behind 2 groups, we spoke with the “Marshall’ to no avail. After playing 8/9 holes skipping a par three anticipating play might open up and 2 hours and 20 minutes later and $122 each, we walked off the course. To the club’s credit, they issued voucher for back nine not played. It was obvious that this was a highly used course with visible wear and tear, definitely not worth the price, expected more, disappointed, never again
We did play the course yesterday. 7th May 2018. It was quite full and the pace was 3:50h for 18, what is ok.Plus side:- The Staff is nice and helpful- The course and greens are well maintained besides Cigarette stubs all over the course. Even on the fringe at every green- Greens are fastMinus Side:- 14.95 $ for 65 range balls is a rip off (2$ for 8 Balls)- 2.75 $ for a can of coke? Really? It was ok to play there, but not a great experience.Course advise to enjoy the course:- White Tees for players HCP 18+ (Im HCP 17 and played an 82)- Blue Tees for player HCP better than 18- Yellow for below 10- Champions you need precision and length for
This place has gotten better over the last year. Someone pay for your green fees two when youre sent to the tee, the employees have a better attitude. The course was in pretty darn good shape.
A very tough but fair course. Unfortunately the driving range was the worst I have used. Only a few spots and all dirt. We paid good money for sand lot practice. Course amenities were very good.
Nice golf course located in a residential community. Staff was very friendly & helpful to us. Even though the area had multiple days of rain, the course was very playable. Lots of wildlife to see around the course. Although there is water on almost every hole, it does not come into play very often. Wide open fairways on many holes & nicely manicured greens. Players of all abilities will enjoy playing!
I haven’t played the course yet, but recently needed a range for a clubfitting. I called and they were happy to have us. Range balls are pricey, but the range, an aqua range, had plenty of places to hit and a nice putting green. The staff is friendly, too. For a course located in the middle of Naples, the price is right, too. Can’t wait to get back and place this golf course. FORE!
Nice local golf course. Tees for every level of player
Golf course is maintained in good condition and is playable for all handicappers. Inside cafe food is good with a good selection. Golf course has cart food and drinks driving around. All staff have always been pleasant and friendly. Good course for groups and outings. Has practice area. Enjoy your time and golf outing.
What a fun course. We played twilight round and got 9 holes in. The course was in great shape and the staff super friendly. We will play here again.
Went to the driving range and $15 for a “small” bucket they call large. The turf to hit off of was more a waste bunker with absolutely no grass. You hit into water with markers, with length not posted. Did not play the course, but never a place to go to driving range.
Great course especially for beginners
Fairways were in good shape. Greens were very slow. Service at the turn was slow.
Was visiting from WA State during the weekend of the Chubb Classic being played in Naples. I loved the course, the range on the lake, and the very nice couple from the Hudson River Valley, NY that I was paired with. The staff and the employees were very helpful also. Do not go left off the tee...water.
Course in good shape, staff very helpful and professional.
Have played this course many times. It is a forgiving course specially from the forward tees. With Summer low prices, it can’t be beat. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will be there many more times even though I play other places too, around Fort Myers.
Great place to golf nice people
Looked forward to playing the top rated public golf course of Naples, but was not impressed. Woman running the clubhouse was ornery right from the start. Three groups on every tee box waiting each hole. Greens in rough shape as you can tell the course is overplayed and over priced! Short course so expect to play 9 in two and a half hours. Plan to wait 15 minutes at every tee box. Called the clubhouse a couple holes before the turn to see if we can get a refund for the last 9. Woman agreed... until we got to the club house. She insulted us, and said she would not refund us because she was expecting us to be there at four hours for 9 not two and a half. Would not keep her word. Good course if you are a beginner with money to blow. Will not be playing there again and will not recommend. If you are a member of a country club, save yourself the time and stick with the nice course you already have access to.
Place is in great shape! Nice, wide fairways, not too long, still challenging. Highly recommend.
Nice course not too tough
Nice course...
Great people great course!
Golf course was not in great shape and the pace of play was very slow. But this is sort of what you expect from a course with these rates. However, I was very put off at the end when the guy who (unexpectedly) gave a slight wipe down to my clubs said Thanks for nothing to me as I was leaving because I did not have cash to tip him. I find this behavior highly inappropriate. I will not be coming back or recommending this course to anyone. There are much better places to go in the area where people are not as rude and actually earn a tip.
During a pandemic they have a policy of 2 people per cart. Only golf course in the area FORCING people to avoid social distancing. This is unbelievably irresponsible.
Never had a worse golf experience in Naples and I’ve played almost every course in town. The starter was a complete jerk to put it nicely. The marshal annoyed us multiple times for no apparent reason. We had an entire hole behind us open and they were telling us to play faster for no apparent reason. The course was a complete dump to top it off. Do yourself a favor and play any other course in town but this one. Valencia is a public course not far away, much nicer and the staff actually treats you with dignity and respect. You couldn’t pay me to go back to Arrowhead.
We played golf for recreation and enjoyment, your staff at the counter and starters are very accommodating with a very good attitude thank you very much. make sure you have meetings with your staff to congratulate them and tell them how important it is to keep up a great attitude for peoples enjoyment. Thanks again hi hi
There’s only a couple of public golf courses in Naples and this is one of them. The course is well groomed and looks like a private course. While there, be sure to say hello to Tim. Hard to miss him. He’s the only good looking 6’5” fellow working the front desk. If he’s not there, he’s probably doing ranger duties.
Very nice course. Great price. Not very difficult, but that was just what my game needed!
Course was not as good as it was a few months ago. Was very disappointed that the staff in the cafe and kitchen were not wearing masks or gloves. They do not give out individual carts.
Played here twice on my vacation. No complaints at all. Great staff. Fun course to play and the course was in pretty good shape. Will definitely play here in the future!
Great golf friendly staff
Great place, Great price. Staff is very friendly had a great experience
Nice layout. The most recent day I played there (March 8) they had three foursomes backed up on each hole. round took well nearly 6 hours. Thats just greed. Lots of other courses.
Not following standard protocol, mandatory 2 people per cart
Ok course, very unfriendly staff. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Just my overall feelings, both the players that I have met and the employees (not the new kid, he was great and nice) seem to have a lack of respect for others. Example, I was on the practice green and a player came and just started to use my golf balls without a word...I let him play then he left without even saying anything. I made sure I said your WELCOME!!! Then 15 mins later the grounds keeper comes by and starts kicking my golf balls... Thats it my Jersey kicked in...yooo whats you doing! He then says they are closing the greens for maintenance...ohh and you cant say something you see me right here. Ill pick them up...no worries....
Course is in good shape and is a challenge but very enjoyable
Nice practice facilities and a challenging course.
Great gem of a golf course. One of the few public courses in the area, but they welcome you in as if you were a member. Summertime rate is awesome twenty something dollars with cart, you cant bday that. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The course is actually very nice greens are in decent condition. Course has a couple tricks up it sleeve but over all this is a fun one whether your a beginner or highly skilled.
Nice public golf course! Had a Dynamite hamburger with a beautiful view. Service was excellent! Definitely going back!
One of my favorite courses. It is challenging, but not impossible.
Course was in good shape. The fairways were filled in nicely. The greens were quick & in good condition. It took 4 1/2 hours to play 18 on a Saturday morning.
Great public course
Nice club. Good conditions not overly difficult and enjoyable. Lots of water hazards.
Wonderful had a great time
Course needs work. Premium price compared to other green fees in the area. Staff are great.
Course is in great shape. Staff are very friendly. Nice day on the links. 4 and half hr. Round. Great for time of year.
Considering all the rain that has fallen in the area lately the course was in extremely good condition, with only a couple of fairways which wouldnt take a cart. We found all of the staff friendly and attentive to our needs. We got around in under 4 hours, and my better half is learning to play. Wide generous fairways allow you to enjoy your game, and at a price that doesnt dent your wallet. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
Nicely groomed. Good course for high handicap player s.
Course was a bit worn. Really disappointed that they don’t have a 9 hole rate, so had to pay for full 18. Add to that they charge for range balls.
Dollar for dollar, great course !!
Very nice course and very well kept. The bar tender makes a mean bloody mary! Had a great time on the course. I would certainly reccomend this course.
It was my first time to play... need to be in the fairways and sometimes in the right spot... but enjoyed it.. Id play 2 times.. and would play it again...
Golf course was in great condition. The staff were all very polite and helpful. We enjoyed our round and hope to play it again soon. Bob Sieck
Nice course
Good local public course
Slowest round ever on Feb 23. Five hours and 15 min. No ranger moving group ahead of us who had 3 holes open in front of them.
Great layout and course in great shape.
Great course with lots of water hazards. Greens were slow but true.
Challenging 9 hole golf course next to Westchester County Airport. Fun !
Best cart people!
Go for driving range to take my daughter its good. My daughter likes the island targets even though she cant hit them yet.
Course is in great shape. Fast greens.
Great day, played the twilight rate and got in all 18
Always a great round. Very friendly staff
My home course. When there Im treated like family. I play different places but I still like Arrowhead the most. Try it. Ill guarantee youll go back.
I like the course. BUT...2 weeks ago my wife and I paid over $100 to pay 18 holes of golf. After 9 holes, we asked the gentleman inside (very nice) if we could have a 9 hole rain check and come back later because the course was so busy and it was playing slow. He gives us a 9 hole rain check. When we went back yesterday, another guy behind the counter tells us we owe him $36 more dollars because they dont have a 9 hole green fee! If it wasnt for the fact it took us 1/2 hour to get there I wouldve told him to stick it. Whats more simple than a 9 hole rain check?
Enjoyed my visit at a very affordable golf course.
Enjoyed it a lot
Good value course in good shape
Well maintained golf course. Friendly staff
Nice course, reasonable prices
Nice public course. Not stuffy. Only reason not 5 stars is no happy hour and limited food selection.
Nice course. Reasonable prices. Course is relatively easy.
Good and semi-challenging course. Doing arriating now but ok anyway. Use Groupon, TeeTime, Golf18, or GolfNow coupon.
Public Golf Course, busy but challenging and fun!
Nice l like.
Played here a lot over the summer and it was fun
This golf club is the best public course in Naples . Current summer maintenance underway and results really show . Continuous property maintenance keeps course @high level . Play here in league and very enjoyable Highly reccomend .
Very nice course, played at a good pace, challenging water holes & bunkers.
Best Public Course Ive Been to,and the staff is Very Nice,Rodney The Head Guy Runs a SUPER Ship. Thanks
The greens were awful and a neon green from being totally covered in overseed. The course is very gimicky. The cart girl (she was an older lady) was nowhere to be found the majority of the round. The course is not worth $30, and certainly not worth the $100 that I paid to play it. I dont write negative reviews about anything, but this course quality/price point comparison is ridiculous. I would not play it again.
Course in great condition. Friendly and helpful staff as well. Definitely recommend
Great course. Excellent clubhouse
