5 Stars for Mary at the Vino!! Her follow up and customer service was amazing. Also make sure to visit Tanisha Salvador for your Vacation Needs along with free breakfast she is the best and gave us an awesome deal :)
Room was spacious and well appointed. Not sure if it was due to the Covid situation, but having some basic housekeeping would have been nice since we had a three night stay. We had to request clean bath towels twice before receiving them. Other than that, we had a fabulous time!
Great place to stay that was close to Napa. Nice room and kind staff. The resort was recommended and this was my first trip to the area. Based on my stay and the location, I will definitely return.Thanks.
Fancy accommodations. Some rooms and BBQ need some maintenance, overall an enjoyable stay. The maintenance staff are quicker to respond if you just ask the ones you walk past. Dont count on calling the front desk to relay messages. We called three days in a row to get a leaky sink fixed, but we asked someone walking by and he fixed it right away.
We post a ton of 5 star reviews because we do a lot of homework before going in, but this is a great facility with a lot of places to go right across the street
A very nice room. There is a pool, jacuzzi, and fire pit. Staff was very nice.
This did not feel like a 4 star resort. Not sure why we were placed in a room. Where the Air conditioner worked when it felt like it. Called the front desk several times and always got the voice-mail. Prior to checking in we called to see if the pool, jacuzzi, bowling alley and wine cave was open, we were told yes, but it was not. The food was not good and the service was not great. In addition I read your auto responses to all reviews, it just does not seem as if anything changes. Really sad to see, your property has such potential.
We enjoyed my birthday visit. Wish wed known the 1brm had no stove.
The best! Very cool and has so much to do and have fun.
This is the most Amazing Hotel I have ever stayed at. We had a 2 room stay. The door to our rooms opened up to a foyer that had 2 separate doors one to the left and one to the right to separate the rooms. Our room was to the right. The pictures are of our room. The guest/kids room had its own double bed and a fold out couch bed, its own mini kitchen, bathroom, little place to eat, dresser TV and its own balcony. I did not take pictures of the guest room. The customer service was very good. They also helped us with ideas for our trip around Napa with kids. We also got 2 complimentary bottles of wine.
As an owner on this property I love coming here and just relaxing with my bestie
Nice unit and good location. A little too crowded for proper social distancing. Other guests arent very compliant with masks/distancing.
Been here many times, however this time we had multiple cobwebs in our lamps when we arrived as if our room has not been occupied for a while. Great otherwise.
Quiet location at the southern end of the Napa Valley. Easy access to everything.
Place was great and they even allowed us early check-in. The suite was comfortable and clean. The resort itself was nice, clean, and quiet. Great for family with a pool and bbq area. We had issues with a leaking AC during our stay. I also requested for a receipt emailed (and was promised it will be emailed) but I still have not received any email.
We stayed for 7 days in early September 2019. Weather in the mid 80s. Went wine tasting. We had the perfect room bottom floor.Easy in and out access. Room was clean and comfortable. Everything great except the fry pans were old.We bought new fry pans and then took them home. Overall I would stay again and give a 5 out 5 rating
Very nice resort. The rooms are decent with plenty amenities. However, the pool and parking situation can be better. There is not many spots by the adult only pool. Have to get there early if you want a lounge chair.
We arrived at 4pm for check in and had to wait over 2 hours to get to our rooms. I have been staying here for over 10 years, and the service has become awful! I’m sad to say, this will be the last time I stay here.
Went on a work retreat there for two days. Had a wonderful time at the spa and the restaurant. Service was excellent. Ive stayed there several times. The rooms and the buildings are starting to look a bit worn (carpet needs replacing in some places, the bathtub faucet wasnt working well, etc). But overall is an excellent resort with restaurants, tasting rooms, and a deli/grocery across the street. Spa is wonderful.
What makes this resort stand out from other Wyndham properties is first, that it has a vineyard on site; second, it has 7 top wineries that offer tastings daily in their special cave; third, guests receive a complimentary bottle of wine.
I stumbled upon this location via Expedia, and took a flyer on it. I was immediately impressed with the facilities upon arrival. My room was far better than expected and the service has been good. This is a truly excellent facility, and very well-kept.
Mostly good, but the family pool is a bit small and to my surprise, someone had decided to defecate in the pool and we had to take it out which I thought was awful, besides that experience it was mostly a good stay.
Amazing. The kiddie pool area and the huge lawn with games and propane torches across the street were big highlights for our family. Restaurant was pricey but delicious. Room was spotless and like new.
Upon arrival of Vino Bello I was quite pleased by how beautiful the lobby was. I went to check in and they did not have my reservation and asking me for a confirmation number that I never received. Almost an hour later I had the keys to my room and we told to go over to the “concierge”
Fabulous resort with beautiful units, loads of amenities. Customer service got a bit suspect when we didnt sign up for a timeshare tour.
This place could be a 5 with just a little more attention to the little things.
Stayed a week here in the Merlot building. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, check-in/check-out was a breeze. The adult pool behind the Meritage had limited seating, but was very relaxing and had a great poolside menu. Parking on the resort can definitely be a challenge in the evening when everyone has returned to their rooms. During our stay here they were finishing construction an another building of theirs across the street, which our balcony was facing. This resulted in some unwanted noise in the morning.
Clean room and grounds. Good amenities, easy access to a store and to a number of wine tastings. Friendly and helpful staff. Check out Skyline Wilderness Park nearby for hiking.
From the moment I checked in and throughout my stay, (in fact I am writing this from my one bedroom suite) the staff has been exemplary. I needed a quiet getaway and this more than fit the bill! The suite, beautifully appointed, room service and food great, cleaning staff, very nice, friendly and thorough. I will definitely stay here again. Next time with my family. Best Getaway Ever!
We love staying here while in Napa!
This place is great. Its always clean, and the property is so big. Can always find somthing ti do. Friendly and helpful staff.
Beautiful resort with spacious, welcoming accommodations. We thought it was weird our bed didn’t have a top sheet and it got very warm at night even though our air was on. Other than that, it was a relaxing, enjoyable stay.
We booked a room here through Airbnb. I highly recommend checking it out. You can chill and relax as much as you would like. Amenities are good and people here were friendly enough to leave the timeshare selling stuff to basically just one question.
Great hotel but they never let me know when our room was ready so we waited several hours then just decided to try to check in later.
Beautiful and centrally located.
Good location. Nice set up with village area across the street.
This is a beautiful place to stay.. the only negative things I can say is that the people upstairs were loud all the time..my daughter and husband had a hard time sleeping because of it
What a top 5 star place to stay. Pleasant staff.
Great place for families, weddings, couples or even solo retreat. Has everything you need right on property!
Great please except that they don’t clean your room and they try to hard sell you for time share but other than that I would give it a five star great location and a nice service
Beautiful! Thank you Amber for making us feel so special.
AWESOME EVERYTHING!! LOVED IT!!
My wife and i really love the service and the staff was very helpful thank you so much for the great time.
My favorite place in Napa. Excellent, upscsle suites with jacuzzi tubs, breath-taking views of vineyard. Great walks, great food, EXCELLENT STAFF.
Great to place to relax and enjoy.
Very clean. Friendly staff. Very close proximity to restaurants and wineries in the Napa Valley region.
Located at foot of the rolling vineyard hills of Napa, this resort is a fantastic addition to the valley of aging grapes. Wine and dine at the resort restaurant, take a journey through the wine cave etched into the side of the vineyard hill, relax in the heated pool, or enjoy some piping hot coffee at the resort coffee shop. Whether youre a lover of chardonnay, prefer a cab and shutter at the thought of merlot, or simply enjoy a nice dessert wine, theres a place for you at Vino Bello.
Nice resort. Kind of different a 2 bedroom unit is actually two separate rooms with 1 main entrance and 2 separate entrance. One was a standard 1 bedroom unit and a deluxe 1 bedroom unit with fancy bathroom, in room Jacuzzi, king bed, full kitchen, dinning room table and a living room with gas operated fireplace. Nice setup can enter from the front or the back of the building. With a elevator for the 3 levels. The only thing we didnt like the regular hottubs were all outside., With the swimming pool. It was cold at nite and winding.and couldnt use it iutside but the inside worked fine. A great resort.
Best choice to spent a lazy time.. this place is vast and lots to do inside the property. Will keep you entertained for a day or two for sure.. Well maintained and staff is helpful
Positive: Loved the amenities! Shops and wine tasting rooms on site. Great restaurants as well! Room was fantastic. Negative: Nothing! We did get the timeshare sales pitch but not high pressure at all. Worth it.
Adorable Napa and beautiful grounds.
Fabulous! Beautiful property!
Staff was great. My girlfriends lock on her suitcase was frozen and would not open.Front desk was able to call a maintenance man at 9:00 PM to cut the lock!Thank You
The website / picture doesnt really do this place justice - it was MUCH bigger complex than I had expected and I didnt realize this was a time share building which you actually check in with Meritage Resorts. Was nice and lots available on/near grounds - BUT - my husband and I were there for our honeymoon and were in a pool facing room having to listen to kids yell by the pool all of the time, so not very romantic. Hot tub at pool by our room was broken the entire stay and later learned there was another pool (adult only) that we could access but my key didnt work to get into it until I asked but by then we were leaving. And found out there was a pool bar at the adult pool which we had no idea about during our stay... Was a huge religious conference taking place at the resort while we were there (weird to see so many monks, priests, nuns at an expensive resort as it seems they should be using that money to help the poor or something), and they took up a lot of the good spaces. Couldnt sit by firepits one night as there was a private event...couldnt enjoy the village grounds or some of the wine tasting locations on the grounds as they were closed for private event...
One of my favorite timeshare. Wine cave massage is so tranquil. Grounds clean. Rooms decent size and comfortable. Professional staff. On premises restaurant Sienna is also great.
Great place to stay. There is no reasonably priced restaurant there so you have to drive a couple miles to eat
Villa is very comfortable. Nice furnishings although the kitchen utensils are a bit sparse and of lesser quality. Grounds are beautiful. Family pool area is very nice. Had a problem at check in as our room was not ready. Waited an hour and a half to get our key. First time Ive ever had this happen at a resort.
My family went here for a destination wedding on Thanksgiving and had a fantastic time. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful (especially Taelyr); there were a couple of snags that could have ruined the whole trip, but the staff was great and did what they could to make everything work out.
Good place to go
Amazing amazing place
Check in was an hour late and then room cards didn’t work. So, became even later. What was worst is the whole time, staff kept trying to sell us time share. Even in spite of me explicitly declaring “no we are not interested and this is the last time I’ll say it” - staff continued to press. Even, when I called to ask about NyQuil for my wife, staff pressed. It was SO disrespectful and made what was an unpleasant stay. We felt as though we were harassed the entire time.
What an amazing experience. Great staff that pays attention to detail.
Nice location and nice hotel. Staff is lacking though. Hotel was oversold when I got there, got put into a smaller room the first night, and it took four phone calls and asking a maid to get a toilet plunger on my second day there.
Check in at 4pm got delayed till 8pm... we had to wait in the hall, could not fix our food on the room. Tried to fill bathtub,... brownish water... nobody seemed to care the same night... next day someone showed up and said it was a small problem... that nightvthe water became clear... Using the restaurant/bar... was giving us in return... took a while to make them understand there was a problem tho.
Stayed in a suite with a kitchen, felt very accommodating and the it was nice having the fireplace.
I’m standing in the hall waiting for them (yet again) to deliver a new set of keys for the incorrect room! I booked my vacation through their phone reservation system for a Suite with 2 double beds and full kitchen. Instead they gave me a Studio with microwave and mini refrigerator. When I protested, they said “their phone reservation system is independent and the wording between them and the reservation system is different.” They then offered to upgrade me to a Studio for $50 more per night. Of course I refused to pay this. If it’s an internal mistake in their system then a reputable firm would have made the upgrade at no charge.I have stayed here at least 4 times in the past, and this will be my last time!
The property was beautiful inside and out! Staff was friendly and always willing to go an extra mile to accommodate you.
The suite itself was beautiful, but our room wasnt as clean as I expected it to be. The jacuzzi in our bedroom was dirty so my girlfriend and I couldnt use it. Also, the hot tub which is near the pool outside was freezing COLD! The water wasnt warm at all. We did receive a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival so that was nice! The front desk staff was friendly, but confused about our reservation and made us check into two suites during the trip even though I only booked one stay for one room. Food was good. Overall, it was a nice trip, but for the money we spent I think we couldve gotten more bang for our buck somewhere else.
Great location. The staff was great. Although I was surprised by a pitch for sales and an invite to attend a sales seminar they were not pushy at all. Great place.
Not as charming as it used too be. Basic run of the mill wall colors. Suites shared entrance foyer is blah!! It used to have table, decoration. Suites also lack the warmth of previous decorations.Reminds me of chain hotel now.Adult interests are located at next resort, not conveint. This used to be one of my favorite Shell Vacations property.
Loving some down time!
We had a room with an AC unit that wouldnt shut off and sounded like a turbine engine on a jet... Staff said they would take care of it each day, but each day upon our return the jet was still humming. They eventually let us sleep in another room but that was unfortunate since we were staying with friends in the adjoining room. Outside of that, it was a decent place, clean rooms, clean facilities, cozy atmosphere in the rooms. The bar scene was a bummer, nobody knew how to make the specials. Credit to our bartender though, she asked for help and when none was found she figured out how to make one of the specials which made her happy.
Elegant property. Staff are awesome. Everything was nice and clean
Beautiful place!! People very friendly and helpful.
Property location is perfect and close to restaurants.Hot water tank went out during our stay and that was very frustrating. Management did allow us to shower in another building.
Was not told until Check out that our room would not be cleaned until the 4th day; and we would be charged if we requested these services before the 4th day. The check in experience was awful; it took over 30 minutes; staff appeared to not know what they were doing; repeatedly went to some other area to complete the registration process
Very clean and nice walk in the vineyard on the property.Could do without the persistent invitation to some kind of promotional breakfast.
Excellent amenities. Except their accessible room was not up to code.
The Quiet and Lush Family Resort in Napa
Wedding Gift and Its Fabulous
The suite was amazing! Loved the spa-type tub and the large shower.
Had a great time at the meritage resort for my buddies wedding. Poolside all day. Downtown for dinner. Back to the resort to bowl the night away.
Luxurious. Wonderful setting. Outdoor area was beautiful and relaxing. Family friendly. Beds were so comfortable. Dont do the time share breakfast :( Its one on one and awkward. Several restaurants and wine tasting locations all on site.
Beautiful resort and surroundings! Staff is always very friendly!
Always enjoy staying here, great rooms. Could use a little more parking.
Resort itself is comfortable and worth to recommend, however service was very disappointing, reception desk is sharing guest data with 3rd party not explaining this information to guest. This is very disappointing practice to share your data with WYNDHAM while you wait for parking permit, then you will start receiving spam...
Great service
Vino Bello is a great place for a relaxing getaway. The transition from the Shell timeshare family to Wyndham has created some hiccups, but they are swift and apologetic in fixing any issues. It also seems like some of the items provided are less (cookware and dishes) . this may be the old management going cheap and the new management not stepping in yet. There are little things no taken care of. There was some trash in the washer and no batteries in the tv remote. Also, we had an issue with housekeeping that took all day and over a dozen phone calls to fix. These are more transition issues. Outside of these things, Vino Bello is the same restful and relaxing place we have enjoyed for years. Lots to do nearby and the concierge is very helpful at pointing things out and getting you discounts and reservations. Its a great destination for relaxing and enjoying all that tbe Napa Valley and the greater bay area has to offer.
Everything you need! Awesome resort location, next to all winerys. Very well kept and great vineyard next door.
Very nice place. Great pool area. Rooms clean. Quiet rooms even when loud outside by pool area. Pool area can be very loud. Main entrance door to our room sticks and had to push hard with shoulder to open. Thought animals were not allowed, but had dogs in pool area. Children playing and jumping in hot tub.
It is like hotel instead of timeshare. Too many people for the amenities. In an industrial area. I disliked it
Second time here! Everyone is super attentive and friendly. Only wish they had more parking
Very comfortable and clean room with a wonderful staff to assist
After a Long 10 hour drive from LA, We checked in 11pm because of bad traffic on Thanksgiving night, and all I wanted was to take a shower and sleep. The front desk wasnt particularly thrilled to deal with a large group that late. Once we got to our room which ended up NOT being the room type that we reserved, (which we called the hotel one day prior to check into the hotel, to make sure we have a kitchen just like we reserved) I was Too tired to go argue with the front desk. So I started To get ready to hit the shower and suddenly the main door opens wide! Apparently the front desk felt it was OK to issue a key card to our room to total stranger just because we had the same last name?!? Complete security and safety fail by this hotel. How about checking date of birth or even a credit card number. I went to complained to the front desk but was given a lame reason that it was the same last name, How does that even make sense, at least apologize for the mistake, Im just glad nothing more serious went wrong. The next day we took a tour of the area and upon returning found that our rooms were not cleaned, so we went to the front desk to inquire as to why, and only then is when we were informed of the housekeeping services fee that we didn’t request?!!? So how about telling us when we checked-in? What was more galling was the fact that the tip we had left for housekeeping not know that we didn’t pay for it, was gone from our side table and room service dishes were still in the room. So someone decided it was ok to come into the room and take tips and sneak back out. Who knows what else they took. Two major safety and security issues in less than 24 hours. How shady is this place. Called the front desk manager and complained again. They said the housekeeping manager was gone for the day and they would check the next day. They also sent a bottle of cheap champagne and a slice of cake as an apology. Im in Napa and really didnt come here for free gas station quality champagne. The next morning at 9am housekeeping starts banging on our door? The housekeeper wanted to know what time we would be gone. I’m Seriously tired of this place. it’s poorly managed. We left later that day and as expected were never contacted by anyone with a better explanation as to what went down, why did they take the tip money when they didn’t even clean, felt like they stoled it. Never coming back here again, stay here at your own risk.
Great, spacious resort with friendly staff.
Heater didnt work well in rooms. Blu cold air and very noisy
Rooms are nice. Good location.
