Totally not a fried chicken place. Rather, its Nantuckets (possibly only) true fun dive bar. Also the only live music venue thats not a theater.

When you are waiting at the crowded bar to close your tab and there is another woman also waiting patiently to order drinks and some tall young rude kid elbows in beside you and gets the barmaids attention out of turn and you tell the barmaid that you were ahead of him and you just want to close your tab and she says she will get to you after she takes care of him - well, it is not recommended that you say duck you to her. Doesnt win you any points and she clearly doesnt care anyway. The Box is too crowded with rude drunks and the staff does not seem to care.

Cool little dive with late night music and cheap drinks. Things start getting started around 10pm so recommend visiting after that.

Best place to catch some live music on the island. Get tickets quick, place is tiny and shows will sell out fast.

Owners and bartenders are the best, and its a great live music venue. Especially when Buckle & Shake plays. TIP LIKE YOU MEAN IT.

This place is summertime personified. Never have had a bad time there in the 15-20 times I have been.

Fun place: 4 dartboard, 3 pool tables, a shuffleboard table, and outdoor smoking area under a roof.

I didnt like the place, very small, bad acoustic and the drinks were kinda watery.Also they take your debit card away from you until you cover a minimun amount in drinks IS THAT EVEN LEGAL? When I asked the barman to give it back to me he yelled at me. Awful.

Best place on ACK city to turn up. Always great live music at night. Awesome scene all around. There is zero pretense here and some of the best bar staff Ive ever encountered.

I love this place ! Greenline Inbound - legends of Summer Rules I love the music and the high energy performers !! Kim the lead singer - keyboardists- saxophonist is ultra amazing! The drummer Alex is phenomenal ! Gorgeous Pete lead guitarist & Harry guitarist- vocals, most talented Kellan bassist & last but not Bryce - Juice keyboardist extraordinaire .

Bartenders only served those who offered more than money or worked there. It was very uncomfortable. I was pushed. Husband was shoved, etc. All we wanted to do was get a credit card and it took 30 minutes because the bartender had other interests. Overall very unimpressed considering the integrity the island carries.

THE party spot for the island.

I know its a local icon, but why? Many (not all) of the bartenders are obnoxious and condescending, and theres a cover even when its empty. I dont see the appeal.

Yearly Figawi attendee and the chicken box is one of the hot bars during the weekend. The set up is purely for dancing, with typically an awesome live band. The bar itself is always packed and difficult to get drinks. There is pool tables and dart boards but on those busy evenings forget about it.

Hell yea! Ive worked there and must say that this is the hottest please for your summer! Enjoy :)

One of only two places to get a drink after 11pm on the whole Island. Some random day during the summer you might find Rob Gronkowski or Kim Kardashian.Dive bar is definitely the right way to describe this place

Went last saturday, the place itself was cool, but the seemingly coked out younger male bar tender screamed at me for not tipping him after i paid 30 dollars for three vodka sodas

Do not use a card here! I had several tabs closed out on my card that were not mine. I have contacted the owner over 4 times with no response. The bartenders will try and take advantage of you assuming you are one of the drunk tourists who wont notice.
