Came to spend money at their business. But sign on the door said they were closed when ther web sight said they were open tell 9pm. We drove 20 miles with the understanding they were open. It would have been nice if they would have put up the information that they were closed on their web site. I mean that is what it is for. Keep customers and potential customers informed. Probably not coming back.

This is such a great place to expand your creativity! The beginning pottery class is extremely affordable and offers a lot of value. It would make a great gift! This place offers ceramic painting for groups, knitting, and various other classes as well as options to purchase supplies. The only reason for a 4 star review is because the building is “historic,” the only bathroom is downstairs in the basement down some old stairs. Otherwise it’s a fun place and the staff is very helpful and friendly.Parking is on the street but during the day it’s pretty easy to find a spot nearby.

Wonderful assortment of craft supplies, from acrylic paint, yarn, crochet hooks, knitting needles, spinning wheels, riving, embroidery thread, wool felt, craft books, dye, clay, and more! Ceramic painting studio is best deal around. Great place to shop and/or enjoy the makers space. They even have a loose leaf tea bar!

I adore this store but had a frustrating experience when trying to purchase a watercolor notebook that I was unable to find anywhere else locally. After first checking this store’s online shop to ensure availability, I went to the storefront on 5/26. The notebook was out of stock, so I made a purchase and also prepaid for them to order the watercolor notebook. I was told to look for an email that would notify me of shipment. I received the email shipping confirmation, with no tracking information provided, while still in the store. Two weeks later I called the store to inquire about my order’s ETA and was told that it hadn’t arrived, with no other information available, and told to contact ordering. I was unable to find a contact for ordering, so I called the store again the following week. The person with whom I spoke said that I must contact ordering for any information, but didn’t have any contact information for me. So, on 6/18, I finally just replied to the email with the shipping conformation but didn’t receive a reply. On 6/25 I called again; when they reported that they still did not have my order I requested a refund. I was told I needed to return to the store in order to be refunded, so I presented shortly thereafter. The person assisting me was kind but prior to her no one attempted to help. It’s important to me that I support local businesses, even when the cost is a little higher, but experiences like this is what drives folks to use places like Amazon. That same notebook was $5 cheaper online and arrived within a week.

Wow, what a gem hidden in a small town! Usually you expect this kind of makers space in a much larger city. Their selections on yarn are amazing, look for their rejuvenate yarns.... So smashingly beautiful. I cant wait to take another trip to Idaho just to visit this awesome store. Ive never seen such a large selection of paint your own pottery! I honestly wish I lived closer, this is such a great place!

I am so frustrated and disappointed. I was in a car accident 2 years ago leaving my ankle without much range of motion. I was told by my doctor that the repetitive nature of spinning would be helpful to it. I went to a fiber fair and tried several wheels out, ultimately settling on the Kromski Fantasia because it is the only one whose treadles angles work with what motion I DO have. I was excited to see that this dealer was having a sale on them over Memorial day weekend. I ordered an unfinished wheel, extra bobbins, and a jumbo flyer kit. For almost 2 weeks, I have been in contact with the owner, Karen, trying to find out when this medical device would be arriving. Several times I was told that it would ship in a couple of days. I was unable to talk to anyone person-to-person except the sweet young lady that was working sales who, regrettably, got caught in the middle. (She is the only reason I give it 1 star). Today, with no warning, my order was canceled. When I asked why, stating that there had been a mistake, I was told that they reserve the right to cancel any order and that all correspondence was done through email as per their customer service policy.1) I found no customer service policy that I (as the customer) was aware of. The confusion and misunderstanding could have been cleared up with a single phone call.2) There is no where on their site that says any transaction can be canceled at any time, for any reason. In fact their posted policy says SALE ITEMS:Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.Mine was on sale.3) Much of the frustration (if not all) would have been avoided if they had explained that these wheels were made to order and not something that is carried in stock. Had I known that, I would have been happy to wait. As it stood, I was just strung along.I gather that, to local folks, their store is a haven. Its a shame that the only way youd know that is if you lived there.

I love this place!!! I took a pottery class here the price when moving up in levels was a little too much for me to keep going, but the teachers are awesome, staff is great, and you can go in any time during the week, and pick out pottery they pre order put a glaze on, tons of color choices, and the firing of the piece is included in the price. My step daughter loves the pre-made ceramics that she can paint and get back, I do as well. Im considering taking a crochet class if its still available. :) Go here with your family, or stay at home mommy great way to focus your kids in and I couldnt believe it they get quiet! lol
