Really interesting exhibits. Blacksmith, smokehouse, textiles building, cane press. Great for kids. Neat events. Fun place. Nice staff.

We went for the cane syrup demonstration. They pressed the cane stalks to extract the syrup. It was then cooked in a giant pot. They had other demonstrations going on also. Very interesting and very educational.

Visited a couple of summers ago, a young lady (college student I believe) gave us a private tour on the small premises. We were glad she averted us from getting too close to the first fig tree Ive ever seen- wasps were swarming over the sweet fruit! The home had some interesting history.
