It was nice glad to see some picnic tables there finally.. was down earlier like June know where to sit..But one thing l noticed several people walking dogs and not cleaning up after them. Not enjoyable to see. There are dog parks and you need to clean up after your dogs.Loved the beautiful plants it was a lovely day to enjoy walking around there. Getting exercise and plenty of fresh air.

The park is very clean! The lawn and trees are well maintained. Hackley Park is right across from the library so its a convenient place to hang out. My favorite statue is the sailor- he looks like hes beaming with gay pride! Anchors Aweigh!

Festive. Might be a good idea to pay a visit with the kiddies.

Easily the most beautiful park in Muskegon with overflowing hanging flower baskets, soft (make you want to go barefoot soft) grass, and tall leafy trees. It was a great place to eat lunch.

Nice park with plenty of seating and a water fountain! Went for Muskegon Polish Fest which had plenty of food and entertainment plus the Polish dancers from Grand Rapids. There was also a beer tent for adults and it was open until 11 pm. Very nice place to have held this celebration of Polish heritage.

The is a beautiful park. I ate lunch there and it was so peaceful and relaxing. I sat in the shade of an old oak tree.

I love walking at the park in early to mid morning. Its so peaceful and no one is there to mess with you. A slight breeze is always blowing from the lake..

Very clean park. They had signs indicating that 4 laps around the outside is equal to a mile for exercise.

Drove about the park specifically because of the Curse of the Civil War Gold curse, lol. Was a point of interest on the History Channel show and just thought itd be good fun to see for myself whatever what the what.In all its glory, its a beautiful park just as it is and a wonderful long standing ongoing public asset thanks to lumber baron, banker, and local philanthropist Charles Hackley.While I didnt find any gold, I did spend some of my own in town. To the gift that keeps on giving, Mr. Hackley, here, here!!! Im sure Im not the only one. :)

Hackley Park is the center of Muskegons History. Hackely IS Muskegon even this many years after his death.

It was quiet when we were there. The service was great, the burger was very good, but the fries were cold and soggy. If you are going to offer bottomless fries they need to be hot and crispy. All in all it was okay

Visited here after birthday dinner with my brother. The music was great! We are visiting from Kansas, we have a similar event in our park every Friday night in the summer. More seating would be a nice addition to this event.

I loved the set up on lights and different attractions. I was visiting family for my grandmothers funeral after flights had been cancelled and coming here made up for all that.

The Arts & Craft fair was spectacular. Lots of vendors, good lemonade - infact the best and great food. I purchased a dress for 40.00 that can be changed into 4 ways. WOW

It was an Awesome day of fun and music! If you have never been there you need to go. Its on Friday nights 5:00-9:00. All free. Food and beer are also available to purchase.

Absolutely beautiful! Great place to take a walk, have a picnic, rest from a busy day, or get your kids energy out. Some people just sit here and read books from the near by library. Its great to enjoy the little things in life!

Love being able to walk around and see people having a nice time. Sometimes theres music. The kids love finding the rocks in the trees.

Nice park In downtown Muskegon. It hosts many nice festivals, parties, and art fairs all summer long.The park is well maintained and located very close to good restaurants and night spots in a growing and fun downtown area.

A beautiful grassy green park perfect for having a picnic in when its not busy! Always love hearing the clock tower on the opposite street chime the hours! Theyve done Wonders to this place!

Surrounded by beautiful buildings built a century agp, Hackney Park serves as the community rendezvous spot on Fridays for Party in the Park. Today was Taste of Muskegon and Ride United. Both were great fun and a big success!

Very nice easily accessable park, our city has many wonderful activities here for the community frequently and we attend what we can and it get decorations for some of the holidays that the kids love to see.

So much history in this park. Cam not believe when it made national news early this year with the history channels civil war gold special.

Hackley park was decorated for the holidays, had a great Nativity scene of baby Jesus in the manger and the three wise men. Also had Santa and his sled and snow man head shot ideas for pictures. Mr and my son had a heart time together. Thank you for the experience.

A nice park and on Friday nights it has a Party in the Park with live bands, food and of course Beer. This has become a great tradition over the years and a real crowd pleaser.A great way to meet your friends and chat. Other than FACEBOOK, think of this as MYFACE where youre friends tell you about things to your face. Its a lot better than reading a wall.
