Nice little theater. Cool atmosphere. Im sure itll be even better as they continue improvements. It isnt a super high end experience with things like Atmos, but just a cool place to be.
This historic community theater offers an amazing variety of shows and evenst in a comfortable atmosphere. It seems very well run with a great vision for its future and its place in the awesome community. Highly recommend for date night or a fun night out with friends.
Attended Met in HD Monday, opera was great. Sound and video were excellent, I had been a bit worried because the sound and video at the last National Theater presentation seemed to me a bit fuzzy. The new seats and layout are comfortable for a long program, and the staff are friendly.
I love the cartoons on summer that they play for free. I love the staff and what they offer the town. They also support local businesses which I love. They carry Loves Kombucha and its very inexpensive. So delicious
If you want to step back into time and enter a slightly creepy/nostalgic theatre, this is THE place.
Good snacks and clean rest room good screen and great speekers.
Watched parasite here. It was a great theater to be in and less expensive then other theaters in town that arent as nice
I went to the runners film festival. It was super fun! Inside is beautiful! Very vintage.
Love their selection of movies. Great upgrades.
Went and saw Rocky horror picture show and it was great.
Great friendly service and awesome venue for unique movie and theatrical viewing! I ordered my tickets ahead of time -- skipped the line (it was a popular one-time broadcast). Yes, old-school seating and decor. Just what I wanted for a unique screening. Need more places like this.
A fun little community theater with actors that give it their all, and staff that bring hospitality to a whole new level. We got to see the opening night for their latest show, Audition for Murder, which was a comedic murder mystery with jokes and references that will keep theater veterans amused. They keep their prices fair so that its easy to support this 40 year long tradition of sitting back, relaxing, and enjoying the show.
Great retro movie house and theater space.
I used to watch movies at this theater as a child, and I am overjoyed that so many people have come together to keep it operating as a theater --and that community events are regularly open to the public at no cost! Lovely line-up of showings, too.
We going for the movies, mostly those that have been nominated. They show some great operas. Were wild urge people to support the Kenworthy in their upcoming remodel.
Great local venue with affordable concession.
Nice venue for movies, plays, music in the heart of Moscow.
Awesome local gem. They do a great job supporting the community. Management is awesome to work with and they host a variety of fundraisers and movies you just wont find at the more commercial theaters.
Lovely historic theater that shows really cool films you probably wont get to see at the bigger theaters in town. Only wish they would replace the seats because if you sit up close you may get a neck sprain.
Good projection and sound. Reasonable prices. Needs a little sprucing up. A real treasure in Moscow.
The only local theatre that plays good movies, I wish they were able to play more than one a day!
A tiny bit of history. I would love to see the place remodeled to be more appropriate for live stage productions.
I love watching Rocky Horror Picture show here. Cast is fantastic at getting audience participation.
Have been trying to get my wife there for a while...she didnt really want to travel. Great ambiance, friendly service, love the seating and people there visited freely it was like a community gathering. it definitely not your run of the mill superplex. Their offerings are eclectic and nicely diversified.
It was fun to go to this old historic theater. My parents went on their first date here 56 years ago.
This is a beautiful old theater. I watch movies here every once in awhile with my family and I have fun every time. The prices are budget friendly for a theater as well.
The idea of the Kenworthy is very appealing but the execution is lacking a bit. The decor in the theater is...well...just not quite as nice as you expect when you walk in. Its not bad, just not awesome. The selection of movies is decent. For some reason I feel like it should be $5 and not $6. Still, I go here for a movie about once every couple months and its generally nice.
I love that this theater is kept up by volunteers and local people who care about community partnership. Bravo!
Redone interior to keep the arc deco design from bak then. Updated great sound and screen are great..even for this older persons hearing. hearing support for those with hearing difficulties are also available.
Besides a few renovation years, the Kenworthy has never let me down in my 30 yrs of being a Moscowite. Renting the marquee, going to weddings, watching elections, plays, movies that skipped us the first time around--these are just a few of the best things that happen thanks to the Kenworthy.
Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre is a bright cultural spot on the Palouse. The area does not support a full fledged Art movie theater so, KPAC is a good substitute. It is the place where one can see less mainstream and award winning movies, locally produced plays, recorded Broadway shows and Opera performances and occasional talks. It can be rented for special events like fundraising, reunions etc.All events are moderately priced.
This is the best theater I’ve been to.
Clean, comfortable seating. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a fun experience there.
I love the nostalgia of this place, the smell of old popcorn and an actual stage.
Love the diverse offerings the Kenworthy brings to our community!
Saw Rocky horror picture show with a shadow cast and it was amazing!
Funky old movie theater that shows all types of stuff. Comfortable and lots of character.
A quaint theater thats great for seeing older movies and performances. Prices are good and seating is nice.
Lovely historic theater in down town Moscow. Catch some FREE Saturday morning cartoons during the summer, watch a play or a french film at this cultural hub.
My friend works here, swing by and say hi
Renovated and cared for by the community this venue is so useful for everything from second run movies to live plays and music to telesynched Operas out of the MET in New York to conferences. I cant say enough good things about this venue.
A great community based theater... Perfect for private events as well!
Small and intimate
Rocky Horror Picture Show with a few hundred friends...how could this be a bad thing? :-)
Nice sized hall and there are great practice rooms.
Very cute theater and its cheap. Loved it.
A nice little historic theater that actually shows movies.
