This place is perfect for the tide pools when it is low tide my 3 year old and I absolutely loves this place! Its never too crowded and beautiful all over. Plus it has such soft sand but then it also has a part that is full of little stones, we love to look through the stone to find Sea glass and extraordinary stones! Its a dog beach as well so bringing your four legged friend is totally ok!

Wide open beach, some surfing, great views of the Rock, and gently shelving Pacific Ocean beach make this a first class beach destination. Parking is limited so get there early during the summer my months.

What a beautiful beach! A giant sprawling beach with tons of perfect sand dollars to collect. It would take you forever to still up and down this beach! Plenty of parking and this beach could never be crowded. You can even ride horses on the beach.

This area is wild California. The Morro Rock sits off to the left and there are no breakers so the waves are big and beautiful and dangerous. Walk amongst the dunes or stroll along the beach and imagine what it was like to shipwreck here as many ships did. Welcome to California!

There is a very small walking loop on the bluff overlooking the Pacific, with a stair down to the beach. Nice view. Parking is limited. The beach to the north is dog-friendly. The point is passable at low tide - sometimes rocky, other times smooth. There is a rocky path above high-tide line that is passable except during storm or heavy swell, but the way is rugged. There is a small shrine on the bluff face, with a few places to sit and think.

Nice park with beautiful views. Great place to take dogs for walks off leash. I was throwing the ball for my dog however, and I noted that after it went in the water a few times he was reluctant to get it. I was frustrated at first but after I got the ball from the water for him I realized that it smelled bad because the water is brackish and at least when we were there TV was just standing and not very fresh. After that I made sure not top throw the ball so that it went into the water.
