Really upset with this place! At the end of the night I was giving a receipt that was missing a drink I told the bartender to add it. The next morning I have my card charged 4 different times totally gone to over 200$. I tried calling for a week and a half and not once did someone answer the phone. I was charged for 3 other bills that were not mine.

Nice size bar, clean and food was pretty good. had wings and the big pretzel. open air bar with awesome live music by Wayne Lyle and Ben Clapp (didn’t catch the guitarists name, sorry)

This place is great for football. Went there on a Sunday, They show both Giants and Jets games over the speakers and have the NFL package for the other games. A DJ plays great music on the commercial breaks. Had the massive pretzel and wings and both were some of the best Ive ever had! The crowd is young and the food and beer is reasonablely priced so overall a perfect place to watch football.

Terrible experience. Hostess sat my wife and I for outdoor seating. We sat 15 minutes and no one came over. Never served. We watched two other waitresses walk by repeatably. No one acknowledged us. Got up and left. Never going back.

Food was well made, drinks were well poured, I mean can’t ask for anything better besides improvement on service which is not required here.

We had an amazing lunch here today. So many yummy sounding menu items, it was hard to decide what to have. I settled on the Meatball Salad. Delicious!!! Dana was our waitress and she was a rock star!! Great service, great food, and the renovations are beautiful!!

What a great find!! We ended up finding this place by mistake we sat at the bar. The bartender was really nice. The only thing I was not happy about was the fried pickles were a little too oily and soggy, other than that great place and all of the other food we had was awesome!

PROS: This place was a very unique bar to go to. It had games, a lionel train that circles the place, a country theme to it, and more TVs than a usual bar its size. The staff was very nice and they kept the place clean. For a bar they had a good amount on the menu and many draft beers to choose from.CONS: Like many places in town there isnt a whole lot of parking for it. The bathroom could also be jammed since it can only accommodate a couple people compared to the amount the bar normally takes in.OVERALL: Definitely a bar Im planning on going back to. Minor setbacks wont stop me from enjoying lunch here while I watch a game on one of their many TVs.

This place is absolutely amazing the manager is Awesome The Waitresses are awesome they let you know the prices before you actually buy it so you dont get screwed the fast food service the drinks everything the live bands theyre awesome met the owners on their way out there are great people I have had the best time here they even left our table when the new band came in and called us VIP this place is awesome I wish there was more places like this with the people that are in it and you know whats funny most places you would see people on their phone but not this place everybodys just here for customer service and interaction

Great place for su day football. Gets crowded but great beer prices and just an overall good time with friends and family. Definitely not a place to sit down and talk while the games are on!

Live music, and a friendly, lively atmosphere. They have food - I didnt eat while there - which the people I was with enjoyed. A good time all around.

Nice layout, big bar with comfy seats and plenty of TVs all around. The bartenders and waitresses are all super cute, great eye candy! Food hasnt disappointed yet. Its usually not too busy when I go but to be fair (to be fair) I go on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Dont ask why those two nights. I wont tell and you would not believe it.

I recently came for their new brunch menu and I ordered the Chicken & Waffles and it was AMAZING. I ate every bite. They also have $1 mimosas.

Horseshoe Tavern in general is a very nice spot for a drink, with great selection. The food here seems to range from eh to good - not their strength here. The decor is very nice, particularly in the Raven Room upstairs, and the service is friendly. If youre going for food or price point, there are better options. However, if youre going for a bar with good selection, and a great looking spot, this place definitely offers that, with good service on top of that.

I held a birthday party in their private Raven Room and it was a great time. I dealt with Casey who was a pleasure to work with. She was very accommodating with any requests I had and quick to answer my questions.

The Horseshoe is the best casual spot in town. They have the best bartenders (Andrew in particular.) The menu is always solid and evolving. Managers/owners are regularly conversing with patrons, which is nice. My friends and I love watching games here. They have a good rotation of bands and they also have line dancing nights, mechanical bull riding (ladies...) and have comedy nights occasionally. Its a refreshing change of pace compared to the more mainstream nonsense over on the green. If you give this place a shot, itll probably end up being your local watering hole of choice.

Was there for new years eve, they had an open bar and a buffet that was surprisingly good. The music was good and having two Djs was very good

Do not come to this place because they do not value their customers, especially if you are not a “regular”. The security guards allowed an inappropriate and intoxicated cop stay at the bar who started a physical fight. One of my friends was involved in the situation because the cop kept getting close to my friend and several females. My friend expressed how uncomfortable she was and the guard’s response was, “you should have left the bar earlier.” Unacceptable.

Ive always had a great experience here. The staff is nice and makes great drinks. Huge older and younger crowd both go here especially since the hotel right across the street. Great place for food and parties and service is fast. I cant wait to go again. When they open the upstairs area, there is a great selection of music that always plays. Very mixed and diverse bar in terms of customers. Hispanic, caucasian, black, and Asian. I would recommend this place for new comers. In the day, things are a bit more calm. At night on Friday and Saturday is where the real party begins.

We had our rehearsal dinner and after party for our wedding at horseshoe. The Raven Room upstairs makes for an awesome venue for these types of events. The entire staff at Horseshoe was awesome and made the event more enjoyable. The food was FANTASTIC and the prices were so reasonable. The manager, Dave, was so easy to work with leading up to the event. The space was perfect for our large group (40+) and it felt like our own party space for the night. The location is also right in the heart of morristown. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!!

Good service, staff very attentive. Unfortunately the evening we went, football play offs, eagles game and who ever. We just came from a movie, there was no discussion extremely loud, even when it went to commercial the music kicked in as loud. Food good. Place packed with a very trendy crowd.

Awful smell, like a bad bathroom or sewage issue. The bathroom smell actually was ok, but the main floor was off putting.

Walk in and seat yourself basically have to wave down a waitress to get something going like a drink or food order. This place is an awesome venue to come hang out at however with great music vibrant crowd and matching decor to wrap it all up. Food was great small menu but cool choices. Drinks were great but came at a very slow pace. All in all Id say this would be a great place to come grab a drink or two maybe an app then move on to the next place unless your there for the nightly crowd in the later night hours Horseshoe does turn into a pretty great spot to hang out

Music is great but the drinks arent. Ordered a whiskey sour and tequila sunrise. Sour tasted like a watered down LIT and sunrise had way too much grenadine.

This place is kinda cool. Not the best bar Ive been to. Beer selection was somewhat limited. The appetizers are solid. Wings are good, Mac and cheese is good. The skillet and nachos are phenomenal. The flat breads are neat. Other then that its a pretty normal experience on the bar scene in Morristown. Would definitely come back!

Nice place with great music and food

We came here with 12 people to celebrate a birthday last weekend and had a bad experience. Before anyone ordered I asked our waitress if it would be ok to do separate checks for everyone (food only, everyone was going to order drinks from the bar) she said it wouldn’t be a problem but asked if we could also order our alcohol with her. I agreed and that was a big mistake. By the end of the night everyone’s bills were wrong and some people were double charged for things. One of our friends was charged for drinks he didn’t even order, was told they would take it off and then found out he still had to pay for it. They didn’t seem to be able to handle a large crowd. Food is mediocre as well. I suggest going in a small group or just for drinks later in the evening when the night crowd takes over.

Came here for a work event in the upstairs space- seems like a really cool spot. The staff was really friendly and the service was good. I didnt try any of the food, but it looked very good. I will definitely come back to give this a more thorough review

Ive been here many times and its always been good. On Sundays during NFL season they give away a free tv. The wings are great especially in the Thai chili sauce.

Horrible experience. I was there last night and the staff were dragging a guy down the stairs. We were telling them to let him go cause the guy wasnt doing anything. It was about 5 guys holding him. down and I heard one of them saying get him to the basement. It was like a mobster scene. My wife was terrified, the guy managed to cut loose and ran outside. He was taken by ambulance. Never again well we ever go back

I just went out for dinner with some friends and ordered (arguably) the easiest things in the world to make, just some chicken fingers and mozeralla sticks. The food took an hour and a half to come out, sans my food. They didnt even try to do any serious attempt to make it right, they just offered to put a new order in then. So I write this 1 star review on my somewhere else to get food, which is what I recommend you do.

Food was ok- I had a pulled pork sandwich with tater tots. The tots were good and crispy. The sandwich was ok, a bit too sweet for my tastes. It was $12 for the sandwich and tots.Service was bad at lunchtime. The bartender took our orders at a table but it took forever to get a drink refill. Then we sat forever waiting for a check. I finally flagged down the bartender to get our checks and that still wasnt fast.

Stopped by on a weekday afternoon. NO happy hour prices. SEVEN dollar beers. NO chilled glasses. Tried two draft beers....both were dull and flat. NO music playing. Very dissapointing and expensive visit.

Usually pretty cool. But they got a couple of bar tenders that are rude and mean. The red head treats you like subhuman! Stay away from her. The rest of them are really cool.

If you liked mediocre bars packed full of young people, especially during sporting events, this is the place for you. When you realize that Morristown is Sussex Countys Hoboken, you come to understand that over packed venues are just what you get on the weekends.The venue itself does nothing wrong. Staff are as good as they can be. Food is on par with most of the similar places in town.
