This was my first time at this theater. I was not sure what to expect since they are a discount place that shows movies no longer in the new release category, but it was great. You cannot beat the experience for the ticket price. Regular pricing is $2.50 before 6pm, $3.50 after 6pm and 3D films are an additional $2. We happened to go on a Sunday when all movies are only $1.50! What?! So my party of three paid $4.50 to see Frozen 2. I did pay $7.50 for a large popcorn (free refills on large size) and $5 for a drink, but thats to be expected and still slightly cheaper than most places. The concession line was very long and slow, but it was fine, I only missed previews. Overall everything appeared clean and maintained. Good family atmosphere.

For the record spending less than $10 to go on a date with my wife and go to the movies and see a movie thats fairly recent is a giant giant plus. But then you sit down and remember why you pay extra money at other theaters. Yes they have seats, but do you really want to sit in them? All in all it was a good date and cost me almost nothing to do it. I would do it again but if I could have one request, find me a seat that my back doesnt scream at me for.

Affordable prices on movies & concession stand.

AWESOME THEATER!! My family and I have been making great memories here for over 3 years and will do so as long as their formula for entertainment doesnt change. Sure they show movies that have been out for few weeks, but at less than 4 dollars a seat I dont mind. Also, they hold a tight ship and make sure that even the bathrooms are very clean. The price for tickets is so affordable enough were it doesnt hurt my wallet to buy five tickets and everyone popcorn. The movie picture and sound is excellent. Great popcorn and free refills on sodas!! But most importantly is there customer service! They have always been so friendly and helpful. We cant wait to come back!!!

My son and my husband wanted to see Joker. This movie was not on my list of must see movies. However, I was very surprised. This movie was good . I see why Joaquin Phoenix won an academy award. Regency is usually clean and they have a pretty good concessions stand. The employees are nice and helpful. Its always a pleasure to go there.

Currently closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic but was a staple to many before that. Hopefully they will reopen as soon as its safe to do so.

We, (Husband & I, Seniors )enjoy the discounted, later run movies. The ticket seller was polite and quick. The ticket checker was very friendly and welcoming. The concession server was helpful, polite and quick. The lobby area was pretty clean.We got popcorn and a soda, typical movie food. The seats we chose were in good condition and the movie ran without issue.There were about 20 people for the Sunday @ 12:40 showing of AD ASTRA.When getting a popcorn refill, just prior to the actual movie start, there were quite a few more people in the lobby than when I was there 15 min. earlier. I discovered they have a special place to get a popcorn refill without waiting in line which is really nice. I didnt miss the movie start as a result.Plenty of parking.The only negative, which is why there was not 5 stars, was the bathroom stall I went into wasnt very clean. Im hoping they check periodically.

I am giving a 1 star rating due to Regency theaters will more than likely be closing their doors in the United States and UK, looks like this is the beginning of the end of traditional public airing of movies in movie houses/theaters in the western hemisphere!

We love this theatre! We always come on Sundays for the 1.50 movie. Its a pretty nice theatre for being considered a discount theatre. The seats in some theatres are basic, but others are very comfortable, are spaced further and recline a bit. Bathrooms have been clean every time Ive gone. Food pricing is not outrageous.

Been wanting to come to this theater for a while. Sundays is an excellent deal and even though the movies are older, theyre new if youve never seen them. Good seating, great screen and nice sound. You save so much on the movie tickets that youre kinda forced to buy popcorn. All in all it was a great experience. I give it a 9 out of ten potatoes.

What can I say! Tickets are cheap! Which is awesome for a big family like mine. Consession prices are standard. They search your bag when you enter, always makes me feel uneasy. What are they looking for? Should I feel unsafe here? Theaters seem to be kept clean. Bathrooms are upstairs, which is kind of a problem. Especially for small children or handicap. They have one restroom not upstairs, but you have to ask an employee to open it for you. Drinks are self serve, which I like. Overall, its worth the price of admission.

Ticket are cheap good for family Popcorn and Drinks standard price except on Wednesday cost for 2 is good after 6:00 Pm which is $11.75 for 2 including small popcorn and drinks which is good but jalapeño packages always taste old I think it should be in fridge some of there made food taste old need to taste everything before they serve

Such a great deal! Movies are $2.50 before 5pm, $3 after 5pm and $1.50 on Sundays! They even have a deal on Wednesday nights where you get 2 tickets, 2 popcorns and 2 drinks for $11. This theatre is a great way to take the kiddos to see a movie without breaking the bank! Also, theyve made upgrades to the seats, screens and sound, which makes it that much more worth it.

Lots of Walmart type people. You can tell they buy their clothes at the thrift stores, nothing wrong with that, just saying thats why they can bring the whole family, gramps and grandma too. They even have a lost and fund for teeth. You can tell they just stopped at the 99 cents store. Their smart too, they bring their own popcorn. They buy one ticket and then they open the back door for the rest of the family. The only thing they dont have is handy cap carts, you know how their always driving around Walmart. They like to pay at the self pay, Just saying. Thats that kind of people. If you guess what kind of people they are, the door will be open for you and the gang.

Cant beat the prices. I didn know there were theaters that only charged $3.00 at night and $1.50 all day on Sunday. The theater was clean with old-school seats. Very satisfied!

Absolutely love this theater, I love this theater better than Harkins inside the mall. Staff is friendlier at Regency than Harkins. Food is fresher at Regency. Overall great experience here.

Great theatre, large, has respectful staff, of course high concessions prices cause that’s a given in today’s era, but it is clean and overall it was a good experience. Would recommend!

Date night with my kids for only $6. Well $46 to be exact cuz they get you inside when you want that popcorn & all the good stuff. Overall we had a good time. Definitely recommend, yes you will see the movies a bit later the most but the wait will save u some money.

I love going to the movies, but the prices of the movie tickets like everything else have gone up so much it really takes a lot of the enjoyment out of it. That being said however I do like going to the movies popcorn and soda the rest just be prepared to pay for it. This theater is always kept clean, warm and comfortable.

The seats are uncomfortable and the rows are very close together so much so that someone with bad breath forced us to move 2 rows down. Hardly any leg room. When we left the theater our car window was shattered so I guess be wary of the area. There are NO security cameras anywhere.The Staff was super helpful and empathetic with the situation. The employee at the concession stand was very amicable and patient. No complaints regarding the Staff.

I grew up going here in the 90s before it became a dollar movie place. Now it is a great place to see those movies you didnt get to see but still before they come out on DVD. Only a dollar unless you buy food.

Great place for a cheap movie... $2-$3 bucks cant be beat.

Regency 8 in Moreno Valley has admission prices that cant be beat. The popcorn is always fresh and the theater is clean as is the mens room. There is plenty of parking and lots of different places to eat in the area. The staff have always been pleasant and welcoming. I always buy popcorn and a drink from the concession stand to support the theater. They have a good selection of films and soft seats and great air conditioning. Weekdays are great, especially!

I dont understand why management cant do the simple things to accommodate customers. If your signage states that you will open 20 minutes before Showtime, and your employees tell customers 15 minutes, yet actual practice is to open 3 minutes prior to Showtime, management has failed. If the Change machine is Out of Order, then customers are forced to request change at the concession stand, but are then told they dont have enough change to accommodate requests, once again management has failed. I understand that this is a more affordably priced theater, but I dont think that should give management the right to fail. The other employees were very helpful and tried to do the best they could, all things considered.

Me and kids look forward Sunday s $1.50 wow can’t beat that we love it specials when the money is low we could still have fun on weekends. Me and kids went to a regular movies theaters $59 just to walk in rip off on regency town gate 8 $7 for the hole family on sundays can’t beat that

I come here with my family a lot. The tickets are cheap. The movies are not the newest but still very enjoyable. Good snacks and drinks. The seats are comfortable enough. The experience is great. A good choice for someone looking for a fun time at low cost.

They must be under new Management. Service was much better than I remember. I havent been there in years because of the horrible service. They were actually much better and slightly pleasant. The individuals at the door and opening doors after movie ends, can be more pleasant. If you dont want to work, dont come in and make everyone elses day unpleasant.

Awesome old school seating and great sound and film quality PLUS great old school prices equal an amazing theater. P.s. they run movies approx 2 or more months back.....but hey, you get a second chance to watch greeeat movies... kudos to staff AND OWNERS....Awesome place.

Showed up with little time to spare but we Got lucky and there was almost no line, inside was clean and workers where all smiles, didnt grab any concessions since we where a lil late but sat down right as the lights dimmed. Perfect timing ready or not was a really really good movie but the language i wouldnt take any kids

This theater needs to be remodel asap some rooms smells like pee or just have a horribly old smell to them. They dont do a good job of cleaning up and the only thing this place is good for are the prices and the Sunday special but dont come to this theater expecting it to look like Hawkins theater

Ticket prices are very good for movies that are around three months old. This movie theatre is never crowded. Unfortunately, that might be a problem. Due to the lack of a large crowd, I think people assume that the movies shown are sub par. Not the case. As I mentioned earlier, the movies that they show are only a few months old. If I could, I would modernize the entire theatre as it does look dated. Even if ticket prices were to increase (currently $3.50) it would be a good investment to attract more business. Overall. Regency Theatres in Moreno Valley is a nice place to take in a movie.

Love this theater. Has a great location in a safe and nice area. The theaters prices are good compared to most movie theater pricing nowadays. The staff is friendly and keep the venue running as smoothly as possible.

This is my favorite theater. I may not see movies the first month they are out, but that does not matter to me. The theater is always clean and the personnel are what makes me come back. Here you will see the same quality of movies, and you will pay up to 5xs the price at other theatres.

I usually go on Sundays once a month for a nice family outing. You cannot beat $1.50 per person! Yes these movies are a bit older and taken off from bigger movie theatres, but for someone looking to save money it is definitely worth it. This place is always friendly when we go and always clean. Will keep coming back!

I really enjoyed my time hear the seats were nice the screen was big the sound was good, the prices for the tickets were awesome $4 before 6PM $6 after! Although the price for the popcorn was much 6 dollars for a large. It would have been great for it to be four dollars because it is just popcorn. The large drink was decent 4 dollar would rather pay 3 but no big issue there. Hopefully they change that. But doesnt stop me from visiting again.

Definitely not your run of the mill budget theater. Its cleanliness is excellent, the staff is very warm and friendly. The snacks are a tiny bit high...but considering what you save on the tickets it balances out. And they have an admission & snack combo special on specific days. My family frequently visits this theatre.

My daughter got spider bites or flea bites, bed bugs, we are not sure.But it was from that theater. As soon as we got home, her feet were itching. Unfortunately, she was wearing sandals and shorts.

Excellent Family Theater to go to. Awesomely priced movie tickets. Sunday all day a dollar 25 a dollar 25 per person. 2:50 before 6 p.m. and $3 after 6 pm. Concession stand prices are the comfortable two other theaters. Great seating arrangements and kid and child-friendly with a family atmosphere. Wow somebody should be paying me for these reviews. LOL go to this place and enjoy people I Highly recommended.

This theatre is great. The admission is only 2.50$ and in Sundays its a dollar less. The only thing is it takes a while for the movies yo come here and they also do bag checks. Another thing is that a few times the AC wasnt working in specific showing rooms. But other than that my family and I like to attend this theatre at least 3-4 times a month!!

I love going to this theatre on Sundays because it is 1.50 all day for all movies except 3D. There is a bundle of popcorn that I get that is 16 dollars and it comes with a large popcorn, large drink, and a dibs or icecream sandwich. Free refills on drink. And 1 refill of popcorn. The popcorn tastes so good with extra butter and the refreshments have a great variety of choices and they have never run out of anything here before when Im there either. The only downside is that the restrooms are upstairs and it wastes time if you have you have to go in the middle of a movie.

Who shows movies for $1.50 anymore??? This place does!!! The seats may not be recliners with heat but who cares when youre getting to see a movie for less than a McDonalds cheeseburger..Im gonna be here every weekend until my son gets discharged from Loma linda!

Its a good deal on Wednesdays after 6:00pm you get 2 sm popcorn 2 sm drinks for $11. I also purchased nachos and they gave me jalapenos that were prepackaged who knows for how long! The nacho chips were not fresh as well.

Very busy on Sunday nights but they are so nice and have smiles on their face. They gave great customer service, and have a great staff . Keep up the good job.

Great place to watch movies with friends and family and cheap enough to binge on two or three films for those long movie nights without breaking the bank. Films are about a month past release but new enough to still be relevant (not out on the open market). Seats were recently renovated but it seems that everyother theater room has one or two out of service seats. I like that some of the theatre rooms have seats that let you pull up the arm rests to share more intimate space with your movie partners. Overall a good experience every time.. though they do check your bags everytime you go in.. gets annoying on long lines.

I love it here. Cheap movies and if youre patient they usually have the good ones! We missed black panther in theaters but saw it here for $3.50 each. Popcorn costs more than the tickets but they have to make money somehow. For $20 you can have some fun

We go on Sundays bc the tickets are cheaper. Definitely get the kids snack box instead of regular popcorn and drinks. The kids one is like $5 something while the regular was $30+. The kids comes with some popcorn, a gummy snack, and a small fountain drink or Slushie (fountain drinks you can refill for free). The theaters are clean and the place is nice overall.

So glad they have renovated with new seats, a/c improvements. Cant beat the price since other Movie Theaters for Seniors cost $8.50 on up. This theater is only $1.50 on Sundays. Believe me, when movies are first released, they look just the same a few weeks later at this theater. Teaches us patience.

Can’t beat the price! Some of the seats are pretty beat up but you can find a good one easy enough. Sometimes the floors are sticky but if you want to catch a movie you can no longer see at the movies this is a great choice!
