Great course with housing in between holes. Harder course since there are plenty of houses, water, marshes, and trees to navigate. The greens are very fast compared to many other courses in the twin cities. If you are a big slicer or if you cant hit relatively straight consistently you will have trouble with this course. If you can hit relatively straight it is not super difficult. Use the practice green and get a feel for the speed. Just dont get stuck behind the league players they are EXTREMELY slow and dont know how to hit provisionals. Dont be surprised is some of them drive back to the tee box you are waiting on to rehit a shot they hit into the hazard. Played there last wk and waited over 10min on 1 hole. We kept falling further and further behind pace. We caught up to the group on hole 3 and it took us about or just over 5hrs to finish our round.

Fun course layout. Unfortunately the last couple times we’ve played here the pace of play has been incredibly slow.

Staff is extremely rude. Paid for 2 carts and only got one. Went back to explain and the guy was not nice at all and told me to pay the fee for a cart. Why would I pay the fee when I paid for it already with my ticket? Such a bummer Vintage is having their customers check in at Riverwood. Do better and never coming back either. Vintage is the place to go with amazing staff.

Too pricey and too quirky for me. Decent layout but too sloppy and difficult to play. Windy conditions make this course more challenging and hard to score.

Good course with a good mix of terrain, length and openness. Course it’s self is well kept. The cart path needs quite a bit of work and some of the lower elevation holes flood when it rains. Fun to play overall and always challenging.

Fairways in Greens are in great shape! Starting to want to golf here not because its closest to my house, but its that much fun. A very challenging track, with fairways and greens benefiting from a wet season and outstanding maintenance!

Im a big fan of this course overall. The layout is fun and challenging, but plays pretty fair. The conditions are always great. The staff is always very nice, but seem to have no clue occasionally about the players on the course. Been told multiple times that the course is wide open only to come to a grinding halt 3 holes in because there are 6 foursomes ahead of me. Worth the drive from the metro area, but would be helped immensely by having a ranger on the course keeping pace of play.

Normally the course is in good shape but yesterday morning before we golfed it rained very hard so there was alot of standing water and we werent able to drive carts in fairways. Certainly not their fault.

The course is shape. Lots of oppertunities to score if you are willing to take some risk of the tee box, but plenty playable even if you stay safe. Friendly staff and a great pub in the clubhouse I will definitely be back.

A young golf course close to a busy road. Not much shade as a lot of the trees havent grown in yet. Fairways were lumpy and didnt lend themselves to good lies even if your drive landed 10 yards from the 150 marker. Greens were in decent shape and played very fast when I was there. I didnt eat there, but the tavern area looked almost upscale. Not terrible value for the inexpensive green fees.

Wife had gotten me Living Social offer for course, SO GLAD SHE DID! Though was well over an hour trip from East of St. Paul, well worth it. Played on a beautiful summer Wednesday afternoon, round went fast, rangers kept folks moving, great challenging layout, mostly Links feel. Tee boxes/greens in very good shape. Seemed like little play, conditions & staff were great. Friendly in clubhouse, seemed to appreciate my business. As a Private Club member, Ive become finicky, this will be a place to return to!

Gotta go with a 1 here. Tried playing an afternoon round, ran into a handful of locals jumping holes completely unaware of people actually trying to play a round. Major pile ups. Not proud of it, but finally had to resort to the Riverwood way and started going to open holes.Very poor etiquette.

OMG! How can a course allow a group outing to backlog a course for that long? Went out there with a twosome and got behind a sixsome that took 3:10 to complete the front nine. To top off the idiocy lets just take a group photo on the ninth green while groups are waiting in the fairway to play. Got to the back and followed a local foursome who thought the whole course was theres. Etiquette people! Very challenging course to play if you want it to be.
