Best course Ive played in the area! Love all of the people and the staff was absolutely wonderful! The pace was good for being extremely busy. Very accomondating to lower skilled golfers who are just looking to have a good time! The pro shop staff was super friendly while checking in and the bartenders and beverage cart girls were all amazing!Would definitely recommend to any golfer! An absolute must play!

Close the range shack down at 7. Doesnt get dark until 8 so thats nice. Need to hire a tree trimmer to come in and thin it out a bit. Well actually quite a bit. When youre in the fairway you should have an open shot to the green. Just saying

I’ve been golfing here for years! Yet to do well but I think that’s a personal problem! My cart died the other day and the staff was quick to run out and accommodate. Always a great atmosphere on the patio for after golf drinks and food too!

Very well maintained. Country club greens. True and fast. Not long which is great for 99% of us. Great owners and staff fairways also in fantastic shape

Very nice golf course although the name is a little bit of an overstatement, LOL ! Nice place to grab a bite for lunch inside or on the deck overlooking the course, decent food, of a typical fast-food selection, or grab a hot dog

I enjoy the course and signed up for the newsletter to keep informed of events, etc. Just received a June newsletter via email filled with Political statements. I like to play golf, not be exposed to left wing group think when receiving emails. Lots of other golf courses to go to in the area.

Food was tasty and the service was awesome!

Good atmosphere! Player in many simulators, true ball flight and distance comparison with summer game on an actual course. Did play a mountain course with MN altitude on option tab beFire playing so yardage was shorter but expected. No glitches or hold ups. Played 18 holes in 3 hours with 3 people.

Love the course and the simulators were nice, however the staff has ruined it for me. A number of times, the bill was wrong and the staff got snippy for pointing it out to them. Watched the staff literally swear at customers for questioning the bill.The manager gives speeches about how you should tip on what the bill would have been during happy hour...while at the same time the staff refused keep my second beer cold in the fridge.Tried to apply a $5 coupon and the staff at first refused to apply the discount because they said they didnt know how. Worst example of customer service Ive ever seen.Ill continue to play the course in the summer, but wont go to the bar or simulators again until things change.

Never will golf this course ever again!! The WORST customer service EVER!!! Manager never there to talk to, no rain checks given for not able to golf holes we paid for because of backed up play beyond belief. Used to golf the course almost everyday, never will give them my money ever again!

Great golf course, matured course not sure how old by the size of the trees you can get a feel this course has been around a while. Not forgiving if you dont keep your ball away from the tree lined fairways. But the greens omg they are fantastic! I play a lot of golf and these are the greens I look for. Very challenging need to put the ball in the correct spot on the right level and can use the slopes as back stops to hit into. Price was unbelievable for a course of this caliber 25 bucks for 18 and half a cart fall rates. 32 peak season. I heard conversations in parking lot leaving, best deal around! My 1st time playing their and I live hour and a half away but will be making the worth while trip again.

First time out golfing for the year and was a very nice experience! Love the mature trees and the mix of challenge and easier holes this course has to offer. Will definitely be back in the future!

Disappointing check-in experience last evening...I have been going to Monticello country club for many years… 2 to 4 rounds per year typically. Generally 9 holes after work. I coordinate a traveling golf league consisting of a dozen hackers and Monte is one of our stops.My complaint was trying to use the players pass certificate last evening. Typically players pass is for 18 holes, 2 FOR 1 green fees but you have to pay for a cart fee. All courses Ive used it on have let me use it for 9. But not Monticello last evening. The regular nine-hole fee with a cart is $30 per player, but if I wouldve used my players pass certificate last evening they wouldve charge me $35 per player. When I asked for some concession I received nothing but a response of only the club pro can make this type of concession. I dont agree and did not care for their lack of accommodation. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Perhaps next year Ill consider a different course for our traveling golf league.Steve B

If you like chicken-poked greens and bad service - at a reasonable price - MCC is your place to golf. If you want a well groomed course with good service - at a reasonable price - look anywhere else..... anywhere.

This was a terrible experience. Two groups of 5 were allowed to go out. Then a foursome of extremely slow men. It was painful. I quit after 9 holes. It would have taken me over 5 hrs. To golf 18 holes! And that is what is killing golf!!!

Golf and gun simulator are a must try! Service was top notch.

Had a problem with a rude staff member a long time ago but it seems that person is no longer working there (go figure). Other than that the course conditions, staff, food and beer have always been great.

Great overall golf course. Challenging, yet forgiving enough when you have a miss shot. I really enjoy the layout, and the condition of the course.

Very soggy back 9. No cart girl until 18th hole. Many trees that overhang the fairways or close to the greens that impede got shot making.
