Great back nine. More Florida style course than NC. Not the best place to play wet, but easy and accessible most days. Range cheap but wish theyd keep it stocked better. Often low balls in machine and no baskets. Practice area large and everyone friendly.

This is good course to add to your public courses you play in Charlotte. Its a little bit of a drive out there but well worth the trip. Course is always in good condition. Carts could use an update but that does not take away from a good experience. Usually easy to get a weekend tee time.

This is a beautiful, at times unforgiving, course. The greens are well kept. It’s easy to lose your balls in the overgrown Bermuda grass rough, but the course is great.

Great golf course! Greens are true, rough is hittable, fairways are lush. Just got back from Hilton Head - they didnt compare to Stonebridge for condition of course. Folks here are great too!

Great place for kids to practice. Our 11 year old wants to go all the time. $5 for small bucket of golf balls. We get abt an hour of golf practice with $15. Tires them out and gets them in shape.Wish they had another bench for parents to sit under tree. Cant bring your own chairs. Its a practice area not a golf course. Probably why there is only 1 bench.Golf course is available for the avid golfers.Make sure you wear hat, sun block, gloves, bring your own equipment & bring a half frozen water bottle. It gets hot.

I love this golf course, the people are friendly and the course is challenging but fair. For the people complaining about poor greens, help the course by making sure ball marks are fixed.

Excellent service and staff, overall course was in great shape, I actually enjoyed the deep rough it gives a nice little challenge, greens were currently being worked on but the rest of the experience totally made up for it. Tyler was awesome in the pro shop and the gal at the bar had a great personality. Great Job Stonebridge CC will definitely play again

Very well kept course aside from the greens. The staff needs to remind players to properly repair ball marks on greens. Other than that, I played my usual round of golf . Nice place, Ill be playing again.

Call on a Sunday morning as a single to see if they could work me in, very accommodating no stress come out we will get you out and they did, the course was amazing well worth every penny!

Was great until the “starter” man decided to say stuff about us to the guys behind us. Yes, we didn’t know we weren’t aloud to take a clubhouse break.. that’s fine... now we know after the starter guy told us. We apologized, but didn’t need said man running his mouth to the guys behind us. Youre old enough to know Better

Best hidden secret Golf Course around! Very plush for a great bargain!!!

My 8year old and I went out today at 10am (Sunday) after having made a tee time online (noticing that the course was wide open) and when we arrived, the man behind the counter was very polite and told us to head to the first tee after checking in with the starter and that we could tee off whenever.The starter (Bob I believe was his name) was not nearly as polite. First, he remarked that on a normal Sunday, my son would not be allowed to play until the afternoon. He then proceeded to explain why this was the case (which, having played golf for 30 years myself, I already knew). I refrained from pointing out that the course was basically empty but his general condescending tone was not appreciated. Maybe he was having a bad day but as the guy everyone sees before teeing off, in my experience both playing and working in the golf industry, Bob needs an attitude change. Hes not guarding the keys to Augusta.Course was in decent shape and I always enjoy playing here as the course does demand accuracy and the greens are challenging.Ill be back just hopefully not when Bob is around.

Really enjoyed this course, they keep it in excellent condition, some holes drain water better than others but Charlotte has been so waterlogged there isnt much you can do. One of my favorite courses in the Charlotte region.

My experience with this golf course was below par. I planned to play 9 holes with my daughter (and called ahead to set up a tee time). When I arrived at the course I was told by Tim that they could not get me in due to other parties starting late. Additionally, Tim made it seem that we were an huge inconvenience. I then spoke to the manager who was very pleasant he said that he would be able to get us in for 9 holes without having to wait hours. However, they then charged me for 18 holes when I explained multiple times I was only playing 9. After a lot of back and forth trying to figure things out with the manager I decided to take my daughter elsewhere.

Stonebridge is a solid course with fair prices and an awesome staff! Definitely worth a play if you havent ever been.

Course was in good shape,tee boxes, fairways,traps and greens all were well maintained.

Course was firm. Greens very soft. Have to fly it to the pin. Few wacky short holes on back 9 but good overall. Lot of ball marks on the greens. Only 1 hole was burnt out. Par 5 on the back. Good pace of play. 4 hra for 4some. Would play it again2-16-20Played course for second time today. Pace of play was fine. Course was wet, muddy, cart path only. $59 for February was way too much. I think I paid $55 in the summer when it was nice and green. As much as the layout is good Im not gonna go back for $59 bucks. Especially when next time itll be 5 hrs packed with hackers reading putts, wearing pants acting like theyre on CBS. Its a tough course for the average weekend Joe. It should be $40-45 today at most. Was also scouting it again for a spot to host an outing this year. Not sold now.

Great public golf course. Pace of play was good.

Generally enjoy this course, however understand it is now under new management. Rates have increased to the highest of all courses in the area for a condition that is considered medium at best. We still booked a tee time today knowing they extend discounts to Military Veterans, however upon checking in was told the new management stopped offering the discount during morning tee times. Regret to say today is most likely the last time we will play Stonebridge.

Worked here for a couple years. Its definitely a class A course. Fairly easy lay out with alot of water on the back nine.

The staff made me feel welcome and the golf course was in great shape. The practice facility is good as well. I will definitely go back whenever I can

I always enjoy this course. we played Tuesday February 6th. Very wet and carts on path and it should be. Some staff dont care about the grounds just getting as many players out as possible. Greens are rolling true and fairways look good for February. Bunkers were good and raked. Staff is excellent and there to see you golf experience is a good one

Course is in great shape. Greens play a little slow but are smooth. The course feels like it plays shorter than posted due to the doglegs. I played the tips and mainly used 3 iron off tees and still had low irons on most holes. Will play again.

Played yesterday Friday and pace of play was decent, the foursome in front of us eventually started to move at a more acceptable speed. Course was in great condition except the greens had many blemishes from golfers not repairing their ball marks which is a shame because it’s so avoidable- This is the only reason I couldn’t give 5 star review. But still worth playing and will return soon, hopefully to find this issue resolved.

If you are an avid golfer, you will find Stonebridge well worth your time - the drive is very manageable and it is easy to get to. The course is typically in very good condition, comparable to much higher priced courses in the area. The best deals, of course, are weekdays - seniors play for (I think) $35 - thats a great deal for an excellent course. In my opinion, this is one of our hidden gems in the area, and I hope it stays that way.One nit I have is that the greens are not exactly consistent; by that, I mean that you might find that they are hard/rolled and fast, and the next week they may be extremely slow due to longer grass. Be prepared to adjust your putting, and if you cant read a break, play it straight (youll thank me).Pro tip: Give them your email/phone number when you check in. They automatically put you in their rewards program, where you will get 10% towards your next visit automatically. They keep this info in their system so there is no need to carry a card or remember a rewards number.

Stonebridge is one of the best places to play golf in Charlotte. The course is always in great shape. The staff are friendly and are always helpful. I have hosted 6 events out at the course and Pat West the events coordinator is the best. She cusotmizes the events to make your clients and friends feel special. Not to mention they are affordable. If you have not looked at Stonebridge to hold an event you really should. Hit it hard and long. God Bless.

This is a good golf course. You need to stay in the fairways because anything else will probably be Rocky.Fairways, greens are very nice.

Course is in good shape, greens need some help, but that is due to players not being careful on the greens and fixing their ball marks. What really puts stonebridge to 3 stars is the range and quality of the balls. 90% if my bucket were damaged or so worn out, the ball flight and feel was completely different. Had 3 balls that were cut open in my bucket. Counted 31 balls and was told I would get 35-40 in each bucket. Manager offered me a free bucket, but that isn’t the point. A course charging $50-70 to play should be able to buy 500-1000 new range balls to keep the inventory fresh. Courses half this quality have much better balls and a cleaner range. I really hope stonebridge understands they are loosing LOTS is potential business by leaving the range the way it is. Without an effective way to practice, golfers will go elsewhere to practice and you lose out on that extra $5-15 per golfer.

My first time there and everyone was kind and helpful. Loved the course and will definitely be back again! Broke 100 in my first outing.

I would give it 4 stars as far as the course goes but I decided to give it 5 because of a combination of reasons. The course itself is fun and kept up to a good standard. But where they really earn the brownie points is in thier cheap rates and excellent customer service. I am a college student, and I love to golf when I have the rare day off of work/school and the prices offered at Stonebridge are very fair. I have gone to several other courses in the Carolinas and Charlotte in particular but I keep coming back to Stonebridge. The staff is always very courteous and helpful and I have never received poor service, I actually feel they sometimes go out of there way to be nice to the golfers. Great bang for your buck and a great course to get your practice in on.

Played last week and the greens were horrible for the price they charge. Tons of divots on the greens and not well taken care of. Lots of Un repaired divots by players as well.
