Used it a lot during my time as an undergrad and quickly signed up for the alumni membership after I graduated as there is no gym in Mobile that comes close to the cleanliness and amenities that South offers. Plus, since its exclusive to students and alumni only, I feel a bit safer working out here.Parking can be an issue however on weekdays, but I dont mind parking and waking in the gravel lot facing Old Shell next to the baseball and soccer fields. Good warmup walk. Go Jags!

A great place to work out, hang out, entertain the kids, etc.

Has everything you need for a good workout including sauna. High tech exercise equipment is great. If your not a student, but friends or relatives with one. Then, it will cost $10 each time you come with them.

My daughter been there last few years for the summer camps. She loved it.

You can work out take all sorts of classes swim and have fun all at the same time

Finally a large gum in Alabama... Only problem is getting people to fill it with a state with high obesity. The gym is very much needed in this state. Unfortunately it is not free and comes with a very hefty price tag hence the majority of people will struggle to get into shape as employees do not get free membership. I wish we did but alas we just have to suffer from metabolic syndrome!

Wonderful staff and great machines! Started working out here in January of this year after my resolution to lose 20 pounds. Now Im 70 pounds down and I feel amazing!

Friendly staff, great place!

Quite amazing. They have so many things to do in there. Sure, sometimes machines go out of order & they could use more activity options, but its still state of the art. It sure has motivated me to lose weight & become more active.

Different distinct buildings, great teachers and diverse school. Always an interesting event/club to get involved with. Pedestrian transportation could be much better in some intersections but the school is growing so its understandable.

Its a gym,indoor track, work out room, indoor climbing wall, plus a pool. And basketball, ping pong cost nothing if you have a vaild jagcard but $30 dollars for each person entering . you have to pay $30 each time you want to get in.

Absolutely impressive, even with an elevated indoor track and a plethora of work equipment.

Since most of the people coming here are students, everybody is treated as student, not customers. However, the facility is beautiful and well maintained.
