Have had season tickets for years. They are doing a great job keeping everyone safe and distant so we can enjoy the amazing orchestra Mobile has.

I went to a Brothers Osborne concert here and it was spectacular, they blew the roof off of that place. It was a great experience, I had a blast!

The Saenger is a beautiful theater, so pleasant to have a special evening there. In particular, this time went to see ROMAN STREET! An incredible band!!Cant wait for Charlie Browns Christmas on Dec. 21st!!

We had a wonderful time watching Blippi Live at Saenger Theatre! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the venue was clean and beautiful. Well be back in a few months for another show and cant wait!

Theater is in great shape. Seats are still tight but overall no issues. Not a bad seat in the house. Was there for Mobile Symphony Orchestra performance.

I took my daughter here to see Kids Bop. It really is a cool theatre where any seat is good. They sound in there was pretty good as well. There is convenient parking very close by as well. My daughter had a blast. This only downside is the concession area is very limited in food. Basically just popcorn or candy. They do serve alcohol and mixed drinks though.

Beautiful theater. The early admission for Ghost concert started almost an hour late. Not thrilled about that, but otherwise it was a great experience.

Not a bad seat in the house! Ornate trim, extremely friendly and helpful staff, bathrooms were clean, parking close by. A+

Mobile symphony orchestra is top notch. Even though it it feels like a place the one should be really dressed up one can go in jeans and it would be ok. This also a good place to introduce kids to symphony orchestra music. Maybe not young kids but I think older kids might enjoy this.

The Mobile Saenger is an excellent concert venue. Its not a very large auditorium, so even upper-level seats are not too far from the stage. Ive seen several shows here and Im always happy to return.

Rob Schneider comedy show. Awesome show, love his stand up routine more than his acting and his acting is superb.

The Black Violin show was phenomenal! The Saenger was the perfect venue.

Saw Toto at this venue and was not disappointed. Love the old style theatres. Reminded a lot like the Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville, TN

Ive been coming to the Saenger all my life and it still amazes me how beautiful it is. The acoustics for the Mobile Symphony were perfect.

Great venue in a wonderful and historic theatre. I dont think there is a bad seat in the house. I do have some criticisms. Firstly, such a beautiful theatre draws your attention to the large and intricate mouldings and elements going up the tall side walls of the theatre to the top, where the crescendo of the view is paint peeling from the ceilings and rough cut circle holes above that and a grand chandelier with either Christmas lights or confetti in it.This is being overly picky, but it is such a shame for such a breathtaking theatre to have the work go unattended. I need to also add there were an abundance of wonderful seniors working there as ushers and were all extremely friendly and helpful!!Sidenote: I understand in Mobile you need a lot of security, however not letting an off duty police officer enter because he has a pocketknife is a bit over-the-top in my humble and expert opinion.With all of this said, I will most definitely be returning for another great show at the Saenger Theatre in the future.

The seats are really comfortable. The workers seemed confused about the seats but we eventually found our way. All in all nice theater and the restrooms were very clean and near the door. The concessions were very expensive. We paid $3 for an 8oz water. Thats totally ridiculous.

Beautiful venue, good acoustics. We had seats high up in the second balcony and were able to hear clearly.

Beautiful venue! The symphony orchestra was quite impressive and the headliners (Cherish the Ladies) were very entertaining.

Love this theatre. We used to come here as kids for field trips. I was here last weekend because my kids participated in YOTWS. A city wide childrens, teenagers, and young adult gospel work shop. The young people performed what they learned for family, friends and people of the community. I can appreciate the balcony because you can see everything on stage which is good for great pictures. The downstairs theatre seats are great too but if the stage is full you can only see whos in the front. The theatre should invest in another or more stands for huge choirs. The choir was at least 300 people with one stand of 3 rows. This was enough for the small group of kids but not for the teens and young adults.

Love attending events at the Saenger, lots of nice restaurants to enjoy before the show. The theater is in great shape and always clean and well maintained.ike stepping back in time.

Beautiful place, great seats, it takes you a step back in time it can be totally romantic or just a fun night out here. They have a little concession spot. They offer adult beverages and my favorite....the bathrooms are clean!!! Staff is friendly and curtious AND THEY MADE IT SNOW AFTER THE MOVIE!!!! GOOD JOB SEANGER

Not as pretty as NOLA is but still grreat. Robert Cray played for 2&1/2hrs. & was fabulous as well.

One of my favorite venues. Lovely old theater. I have been to many shows here and have not found a bad seat anywhere. Rest rooms may be a little lacking. Great atmosphere.

A friend and I drove from Birmingham down to Mobile to see a show at the Saenger Theatre not really know what to expect. We ended up having an absolute blast. The place is beautiful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The acoustics were phenomenal! Extremely smooth security for entering, exiting and re-entering. I was quite pleased with my entire experience with the venue!! Will definitely make it down for another show!!!

As far as the idea of a musical theater goes, this theater does a wonderful job. Plenty of seating is offered plus a snack bar just in case some alcohol is needed to witness an entire performance. Concerts and other musical performances are drowned out by the architecture of the building. Overall, this antique building will offer a fine experience for whatever you may be watching.

We went during a Mardis Gras parade so that was fun! Sen Scotty McCreery there that night. Great place. Historic, love the architecture, clean, safe. Drink and snack prices were reasonable too. Highly recommend you try it!

Beautiful gem of a theater that is a must-see. I love visiting here. Original marble, gorgeous murals, exquisitely restored, with stunning gold details and awe-inspiring details everywhere. More understated than the New Orleans Saenger, but more light-filled and cheerful. Seating capacity of 1,921 seats, it is cozier than the New Orleans Saenger. Recently, my theater seat bottom was kind of lopsided, pushing me to one side. The local staff are super helpful. Bathrooms nice. Concessions counter height too high and they need more variety.

Outstanding staff, beautiful and clean. Very elegant but you are not required to dress up. Seats are skinny so if you are bigger than a 2 or 3x you might be uncomfortable. There is nowhere to stand while waiting on the doors to open if its raining, bring an umbrella. sound and lights were amazing.

I saw Beethoven & Blue Jeans and it was exceptional.

As usual, the venue was awesome. Unfortunately, Ronnie Millsap was apparently under the weather. The band was great but Ronnie was not up to par. Ill continue going to the theatre because it is a great old place. I will start checking current reviews for the artists before I pay for tickets, though.It would be really nice if they had some bourbon at the bar. Also, my wife likes lime in her gin and tonic. That wasnt available either. The bar staff was apologetic, and the tender knew better than to offer me Jack Daniels or Crown Royal when I asked about bourbon.

A great place for any show. I have seen both plays and concerts here, the lighting and sound here are always superb. Seats could be more comfortable but the venue is historic.

Nice theater but it does need some updating. The paint and crown molding are rough in some parts, and the chairs are extremely uncomfortable. The acoustics and amount of seating are high points though. Honestly I would rate it 3.5 stars given the ability.

The Sanger had a renovation about 10 years ago and it is truly a beautiful place. You should visit it, even if you never want to attend an event there. They have a wonderful staff that keep it going while offering a range of entertainment to peak all ages. I recommend the orchestra or 1st floor seating. There is a restroom on the 3rd level that most so not know is there. I am 49 and remember having dance recitals there as a young girl. I thought it was as big as a castle . Remember to tip the bartender.

Absolutely great place to hear awesome music! We just seen Leon Bridges Monday night and he and his crew were fabulous!!! Love the atmosphere and love the music keep up the great work!!

We saw Home Free there on May 11th and loved the venue! Very nice and clean. Easily accessible seats and facilities. We had a blast and wont hesitate to return for another event.

Beautiful Vintage Theatre! Attended Black Jacket Symphony performing Queens A Night at The Opera,& Queen Hits! Staff was well organized,able to get Screened quickly by Security,& Police,all were friendly,Professional! Had Staff assistance as soon as you entered Theatre Lobby,& Seating assistance,great experience! Will return!

It was wonderful...the accommodations were very comfortable..

Place had an old school theatre vibe which was nice. Location is great in a nice area downtown with restaurants and other stuff to do nearby. The seating seemed to be a few 100 and they sold alcohol too. Seat comfort and spacing couldve been better.

We went to Joan Baes concert. It was wonderful. She was great. The crowd was very enthusiastic, with lots of applause. Before the concert started, everyone coming in was smiling and expecting a great concert and we were NOT disappointed!!!

Excellent venue to see wonderful local and traveling shows. There are very few bad seats in the house. Parking can be a bit of an issue since the Saenger is in the heart of Mobiles entertainment district, but there are pay-lots nearby and some street parking if youre willing to look.

Ive enjoyed visiting for Beethoven and Blue jeans a couple times. My only remark is that the seats are a little narrow for such long events, but it is an old building. Its very beautiful, and the sound is incredible from any seat.

We love getting a chance to catch a show here. There really arent any bad seats. If you get a chance to see a movie here I highly recommend it.

Good programming, old time grandeur.

They hosted a comedy show for Lil Duval on his Living your best life tour and it was over the top funny. The theater was great on temperature being that it was a packed house.

We love the beauty of this historic theatre. The staff is always helpful & friendly. The sound is great, and they are hosting more & more great artists.

This place was over packed .getting out after the ceremony was very dangerous had their been a fire or something to that nature it would have been a disaster. The building its self is old but beautiful however how this event was ran was not safe.

First time visit for us. Elegant yet intimate location for music. Sound was very full but thankfully not loud.

Went to see A Christmas Carol while on a field trip with my kid. They were so organized at getting all of the different schools/classes in and out of there. The play was wonderful, very entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Every inch of the theatre is absolutely stunning, gorgeous details and beautifully decorated for Christmas.

In keeping with its style, The seatig is in desperate need of updating. People of 2019 are on average larger than when the building was built. The seats need a cup holder also. And a good paint job would bring it back to glory days.

Seating and facilities are excellently maintained. Feels like an old world theatre blended with a bit of the new world theater. Sound system is excellent for any band that performs here and parking is ample!
