Laidlaw Concert Hall: Lovely performance space. Great acoustics, comfortable, spacious seating. Introductory remarks should have been miked.

We went to see a showing of Godspell. I really enjoyed this show. The theatre was small but cozy and while I would love to see some more money put into this place I was really pleased to see how much effort the theatre department here put into a thought provoking performance. New chairs and a better stage would go a long way towards community engagement and more shows being put on here. The University and the City of Mobile should really consider this theatre as a potential source of revenue and showcase the art that this department is obviously capable of producing. Overall I was impressed with the department, the students, and the production, but was sad to see that the University obviously placed the Performing Arts Center lower on its list of priority when it came to where to put money for development.

I had the best time. I attended USA years ago and I see new buildings new this new that. Very nice architecture. I attended concerts based on need of my Music Appreciation class(101). However I think I will go back though I dont have to because I enjoyed it so much.

My nephew and I had a great time . It was his orientation for college today!!

The University of South Alabama is great. They do a good job with the parents and students during orientation. We went down there for orientation and the weather was very rainy. They provided us with ponchos for the rain. If only they couldve just kept us inside. Lol. It was very informative and well done.

A very nice place inside for concerts and plays. It is on a University campus. At times for a very popular event, or if a lot of students are at class, finding a parking can be a little difficult. Arrive a little early unless you do not mind walking some.
