Very informative, neat exhibits. I really enjoyed it

This was a fun, educational place to bring the kids. Admission was free, and there is so much to take in while visiting. The citys fire department has a very rich, colorful history, and there are artifacts from practically every decade, starting back when they lined up to do a bucket brigade! Its a two story museum, and theres actual firefighter gear to try on upstairs (my kids thought it was awesome!). The gentleman working the day we went was so knowledgeable & answered some pretty off the wall questions from my five year old! I highly recommend this museum for all!!

Went with my daughters 4th grade class for a field trip. Very neat museum!!! Has a few really old firetrucks as well as a bunch of old artifacts dating back to the early 1900s. The kids were able to do a scavenger hunt and whoever won got a special treat. Definitely a place you should visit when exploring downtown Mobile!!!

Small but fascinating.

Enjoyed looking at the old fire trucks and learning about the history of fire fighting. My daughter enjoyed also. Free of charge too.

Great museum if youre lucky enough to find someone there. Currently waiting out the hour before hes supposed to be back from lunch. Will update if we find someone there.

Great history of Mobile fire fighting

Excellent place.

My kids and I really enjoyed our visit. Mr. Danzey was so full of information and old stories.

We made a special detour to come here. The hours on here say they are open from 9 am - 5 pm. Show up and there is a nice little sign on the door that says open Tuesday and Thursday. I have 2 very upset boys. Please update your hours on here.

Neat place to visit

Tried to go here 3 times - its never open! One time it was some obscure holiday, once the person answering the phone said he went to lunch and the 3rd time we just gave up.
